I don't like her, but I know other fans do. She's mainly neutral/dislike for me. Nightcloud fans, why do you like her so much?

I always liked Nightcloud, her name is awesome.
And then we have that every female cat is described a pretty or beautiful, but Nightcloud is described as being buff and well muscled.

I like her descriptions from CT and I like how deeply she did love her son. I like that she is a character that is not super gushy or sweet, and I find her to have always been a cat to reckon with. I think she’s lonely, and she always has been, so she shows stronger love for her only kit.
I also enjoyed her heroic moments, like her urging to help Riverclan and her moments in CT especially.

I appreciate her because while she definitely has scratchy moments, she actually has a lot of good moments - even pre-CT. I think she's an honorable and good cat at heart, but she definitely can have an attitude problem. And while I love my soft and sweet girls like Leafpool, I also really love Nightcloud and do feel sympathy for her. I hope she's less lonely now

I mostly feel sympathy for her for having to deal with such drama. I do love that she cared a lot about her son.

I guess I’ve always liked her name? She would have been the perfect mate for Crow IF, and I mean IF, he had not gone on the Great Journey and met Feathertail and by extension Leafpool. Or, I think so, anyway.

She's one of the best-developed background characters from a different clan honestly. And it was especially refreshing to see her in a different light in CT, and not just the stereotypical "crazy ex" etc. She's much more than that.
