I've seen a surprising amount of people genuinely like this books. Of course, that is not a problem... I really want to know and understand the other side of the coin. So, what are your thoughts? Even if you don't like it like me, I'll still be curious to know why.

I liked it a lot, most people don't because they hate the main characters.

1) Different environment. We've never been in a city with these books before, so that was new. 2) Tigerheart gets development. 3) Guardian Cats. Again, somewhat of a new concept. Cute characters, too, like Blaze. 4) More Dovewing. (This is just my personal opinion. Seeing her makes me happy. Which, clearly other fans aren't happy with her, but I don't care.)
But I think the first three reasons are the reasons why people liked the book, at least I did. Honestly, my only complaint is that Tigerheart is always right, and he doesn't have many flaws, but ignore that and Dovewing's stupid decision to leave while she's pregnant and it's good.

I liked it a lot, most people don't because they hate the main characters. Yeah it's frustrating fans judge it and skip it because it's Dove x Tiger. No better than the fans who judge Survivors just because it's "not warriors". I personally think it isn't that bad. There's flaws, of course, but it's really not that bad.

To be fair, if someone doesn't like the main characters, I understand why they skip it? It is a big part of the book, and can be very frustrating

I mostly enjoyed it because it introduced fresh new characters had actual development and personalities and introduced a new way of living. I adored the guardian cats, and admittedly I'm interested in city life and the way they differ from the rogues we see in the forest as many hunt / live in groups. Other than that, it was okay. I thought Tigerheart was a cute father and he had more growth then we really saw in OOTS, but I wish it built up his relationship with Dove via flash backs / narrative since a lot of people still feel it was rushed and sloppy. Honestly, when i think of it more, the guardian cats and the station cat were really what made the book for me.
