Some ideas (feel free to suggest more if you don't like them):
A few animals have been bred and experimented on by a lab, to make them more resistant to danger and more strong, they were raised in the lab, but after years of fake environments and tests, some want to escape. These are all endangered animals/hybrids of endangered animals, and maybe a more common animal and an endangered animal.
Bears roaming around/traveling going to new lands.
