Is the book worth reading or should I just skip it. I recently have this urge to read Warriors again. I know some people like the book and others don't.

Ehhh. It's a little boring to be honest, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I'd read it if you like BramblexSquirrel.

I think it depends on who you are, I enjoyed it, and the step back it took from powered cats. It gives a bit more spotlight to background characters, however; the plot is kind of thrown together. It's a cute book I suppose, and there's nothing overly wrong with it.

If you’re curious about it and you want to read Warriors, why not?

Meh, it was more of a slow read for me. If you must read all books, go ahead. Honestly, I’d probably read it again, but it was slower and the pase was weird in some areas. Obviously just my opinion, lots of people liked it, so just have a go. 🙂

I mean, if you're curious and want to read more of the Warriors series then go ahead. I mean, it only establishes one new thing in the Clans that they completely ignore as of AVoS, so I guess it doesn't really matter if you read it or not.

It's definitely more character driven then plot, so is slower paced then most Warriors Books. If it's actions and high stakes you're looking for, this isn't for you. You'll get surprising development for characters other then Squirrelflight and Bramblestar, similar to the First Arc with it's a sense of community. If you enjoyed Skyclan's destiny, you'll likely enjoy this too.

No lol. Reading about Bramblestar being an incompetent leader chasing after kittypet tail was unbearably boring and disappointing. But it's best for you to form your own opinion.

Just read it. I don't know why people skip some books. Read it and judge it based on your own opinion, not others.

I read it as a calm-down from all the stuff the main series throws at me. It's slower and more character-driven, which I can prefer over fast plot-driven stuff with little character development. Bramblestar's PoV was annoying due to how incompetent he was but I blame it on him being a budding leader, similar to Leafstar in SD, but it was still annoying compared to her. Plus the Jessy BS was annoying as hell.
Also the flood was lackluster as hell and the body count is super low so take that as a note too.
But I loved all the attention on the side-characters and also seeing Squirrelflight being a competent deputy made me happy and showed how much leader potential she had.
So if slower, character-driven books are more your forte, and not something that will bore you, I say try it out. Honestly, I'd say try it out in general and see how your opinion forms then.

I guess I’m the only one who likes it I like it too. There's some things I feel could've been done better but it's up there with Skyclan's Destiny as being a book I like to read on chill days.

I think the big issue that most people have with it revolves around Jessy So if you don't want Bramblestar debating whether or not he loves Squirrelflight while also mooning over a kittypet, you probably won't like it

Thank you all for your input. I will most likely read it because I do like Bramblestar and Squirrelflight. I'm aware of Jessie and ready to skim the pages if I must.
