Cinnamon roll. I love his development, and his relationship with Barley is lovely too.

Ahhhhh I love him so much; he's probably my favorite first series character besides Runningnose and Littlecloud!

I can't see any reason not to like him. For a side character, he's actually pretty well developed and he has one of the best relationships with his mate. They're supportive and sweet, even though they occasionally have their few little disagreements. I just love Ravenpaw AND RavenBarley

Ravenpaw is impossible to hate and was one of the best characters the Erin's made and I'll fight you on this

i love him a lot. he's most commonly drawn/depicted as twitchy and paranoid like he was in into the wild, but he really grew into a strong, confident and big-hearted cat. i adore the ravenpaw and barley mangas. and, honestly? i prefer ravenpaw and firestar as a duo over firestar and graystripe Honestly RavenxFire is one of my favorite pairings.

I maintain that he has one of the best character arcs / romance arcs of the series, and certainly of the OS.

Love him and his sort of brotherly love for Barley. Have you read Ravenpaw's Farewell? Because there was nothing brotherly about the relationship, at least as far as that novella was concerned. Even if they aren't explicitly stated to be mates, it's clear what Vicky was going for. Even the wiki lists them as mates.

Though it seems to me that it’s more brotherly for what I’ve read in the other books. I’ve headcanoned that Barley was the replacement for Dustpelt and Raven the replacement for Barley’s brothers. Though that’s I’ll I’m going to say, as I don’t want to cause a problem with explaining my beliefs. Thanks! 🙂

Also that reunition/make up scene with Ravenpaw and Barley was probably like the gayest thing I've ever read tbh. lol

Harper Collins however have stated before that BarleyxRaven or TallxJake aren’t couples. They write the backbones for the books. I’ve stated I don’t want to talk about this. So I’m just going to leave it at that. No coming at me plz. Thank you

I’ve stated I don’t want to talk about this. So I’m just going to leave it at that. No coming at me plz. Thank you Harper Collins are the publishers, they just publish the books for selling, and that's pretty much all they can do. You're mistaking the publishers for the EDITORS a.k.a Working Partners, which is where Vicky works. Working Partners are separate from the HC publishers. HC doesn't write the backbones of the books, Working Partners do, they decide the plots and everything, they're the ones in control, they own Warrior Cats as a whole. If you wanna talk about who has the power for the series direct it to WP, not HC. She was an editor of Working Partners, the editors of the books are who have the most power, not the publishers. And again, considering Vicky, the former editor of the books was the one to write the novella herself, her intentions that Ravenpaw and Barley are a couple are pretty clear (And we can only have proper LGBT rep in these books through Word of God anyways because the other editor team and the publishers wouldn't allow it as is, we gotta take what we get for the most part). (IK you said not to @ you and I'm sorry for not noticing it until now, but I prefer folks didn't mix the two up at this point. I'm not looking to debate either obviously, I'm just trying to correct you. It just annoys me that people still deny they're a couple even after the writer herself that wrote the novella confirmed it. x.x''')

On the topic of Ravenpaw x Barley, I don't really care for it as I ship Ravenpaw with Firestar and an OC of mine more but I do know it's canon. It's some representation, at least.

I think the most important part is that it's not only representation, but healthy representation. Even if you don't like the couple, there's no denying they work their problems out, are respectful of each other, and are a really healthy relationship
