(Mine is about to become apprentice any time now. The mother could be Unknown or have died.) (Let's say that she died then, but what about the father in that case? Or would you like to make her an orphan?) (She's half clan the father's of a different clan.)

(I'm not going to ask you to redo the form, but would you mind at least writing up her backstory now that she actually has one, however brief?)

Noticing her doubts, Fox entwined his tail with hers and nuzzled her. "It'll be alright," he murmured. Although, he didn't know if was trying to convince her or himself. "Everything you've done will be worth it eventually. Leaf understands how hard you work, as do I. And hopefully all our efforts will pay off very soon." (Hi, Iโm back!) Though still in doubts, Frost appreciated Foxโs effort for trying to light up her mood. โI guess youโre right,โ she mewed, forcing a tone of optimism in her voice. They have reached the lake by this time, and Frost supposed some cats would be fishing now. She glanced across the water, noticing two figures alongside the bank of RiverClan territory.

(Welcome back!)
Fox glanced in her direction, his paws eager to get going. But if Frost ever knew of his true intentions, he had a feeling she wouldn't take it well. And from what I've seen of Silverstar, the last thing we need is two mad leaders, let alone one. "Are you sure you're up for spying today?" he asked her, trying to divert her attention away from the RiverClan cats. "You've been doing so much already. Don't you think it's time for a break?"

Frost glared, but her fur flattened as she started to see the point in Fox's words. She surely had spent much of her time spying recently, but she didn't really know when it would be enough.....for she didn't actually have a clear plan for the future of her group, and all she had done these days was making sure her sister had no idea about her Clan's future, either. Suddenly noticing this, Frost heaved a sigh. "What do you think we should do next, Fox?" she muttered, hating the hopelessness in the question. "Would it have gone too far to try building a Clan of our own?"

"Well, if you want me to be perfectly honest," Fox began, though not taking his eyes off the RiverClan cats, "I think maybe you should focus on your daughter first. I know I said Leaf can take care of herself, but I can tell she misses you. At the very least, you could make her feel more involved in some way. Then maybe she wouldn't be running off on her own all the time. Maybe you can even figure something out together."

Abashed to be pointed out neglecting her daughter, Frost felt her pelt hot in embarrassment, but what Fox said was true and good-intentioned. Not knowing what to reply immediately, she glanced across the water, making out the shape of Darkwing, a loyal warrior, and a smaller figure who seemed to be an apprentice whom she'd never seen before, yet somehow seem familiar. She flicked her ears, pointing at the younger cat. "I find that cat familiar. Do you know who that is?"

"Why would I?" Fox replied, feigning disinterest. Deep down, he guessed the cat Frost was referring to was his own son, but he wasn't entirely sure if the apprentice was his kin and he also wasn't sure whether he wanted to find out, either. He wanted nothing more than to rejoin RiverClan, but not while the Clans were still following the flawed laws that were the warrior code. "He must've been born sometime after we left," he continued. "What does it matter to you, though?"

"Nothing. Just wondering what they'll teach their apprentices about, after we left." Frost lied, as she suddenly realizes why the cat looked familiar. She supposed Fox would sense that she wasn't telling the truth, but she guessed he'd be glad for the opportunity to avoid talking about his son. "Let's head back. I'll talk to Leaf, as you suggested, and maybe she'll have some ideas about the group's current states, for she'd always have interesting thoughts about the group's operation."

Fox repressed sigh of relief, though that didn't stop his eyes from shining with gratitude. "Yes, of course." Though I doubt it. He trusted Leaf, but because of her young age, he felt uncertain that she'd have much to contribute to any future plans. Still, at least this meant no more spying for the rest of the day, he hoped. He headed back to their camp, hoping Leaf would actually be as invested in this as her mother was.

Frost padded after Fox, pausing temporarily to glance around the camp. Their camp wasn't so nicely built as RiverClan's, but it was the way Frost wanted. She never really liked the rankings as well as many unbendable rules, and she wasn't satisfied with the training they give the apprentices, either. When they founded the group, she thought it would be better if younger cats were free to learn from any cat they'd like, and vice versa. But now seeing her own daughter running wild the whole day, she doubted if that was a great idea.
Nevertheless, this was not a problem that could be fixed right away. Frost treaded around the camp to look for her own daughter. "Had anyone seen Leaf?" she asked the others.

Leaf heard her name and immediately ran to her mother. "Here! What is it?" It wasn't like Frost to call her, but a part of her was glad as well. It wasn't often she got talk to her these days, so she appreciated it. Then a feeling of dread overcame her. Flattening her ears, she asked, "We're not going to go spying again, are we?" She didn't mean to sound whiny, but she couldn't care less at this point.

"No," Frost replied curtly, pausing before continuing. She'd never thought both Fox and Leaf disliked the thought of spying so much, but this certainly was the truth; they didn't like spying on RiverClan, nor do they like seeing her do it. She pushed the thought away as she concentrated back on what she was planning to say. "I'd been thinking about the future of the group," she told her daughter. "And I'd like to hear some of your thoughts about it, as we proceed on making the cats' lives better. No pressure; I just want to know if you have any suggestion on mind we could take consideration of."

Leaf's eyes perked in surprise. "You're asking me?" She glanced at Fox for some help, but he only gave her a nod of encouragement. "But why?" she asked, turning back to her mother. "I think everything's fine as it is." She caught Fox rolling his eyes at this, but pretended not to notice. "Although, I suppose it would be nice if you didn't spy so much." Quickly, she added, "For your own good, I mean. At least until a plan is made." If one is ever made, that is.

Frost flattened her ears, trying to stay calm as her daughter accused her of spying too much. My own daughter, telling me off on something! she thought, but tried her best not to react on her anger, or embarrassment, to be frank. "Well, thanks for pointing that out," she replied, trying to keep her fur flat. "I would fix that. As for making a plan, I'd certainly talk more to the other cats about it. But you're more than welcome to speak to me anytime, of any idea you have," she added the last sentence, wishing that would lessen the doubts in Leaf's eyes which clouded up when she heard Frost ask her for any suggestion. "I'd love to hear what you think."

"Maybe you should go easy on her, Frost," Fox suggested as he put his tail gently on her shoulder. "She's still very young. You can't expect her to make big decisions like this at her age."
Normally Leaf would've taken offense to this, but she was also grateful if it meant getting to avoid this conversation.
"But she does have a point," Fox continued. Jokingly, he added, "Honestly, you seem to be so obsessed with spying these days that you might as well just send someone to collect information from the inside."
Leaf's eyes widened in realization. That's it! This could be her chance of joining a Clan at last! "Fox, you're a genius!"
"Wait, what?" Fox turned to the young cat, looking at her as though she were crazy. "Leaf, I was joking!"

Frost raised her tail, half-bewildered, yet not unhappy. "You wish to spy for the group in RiverClan?" she asked Leaf, her tone firm and calm.

Leaf nodded. "It'd at least be something different, wouldn't it? Plus, you were exiled when I was still a kit, so I doubt anyone will even recognize me. And besides, who would suspect a young cat to be a spy, anyway? The quicker I get information, the sooner you can get to moving forward."

Frost was slightly amused by her determination. "And yet I thought you want nothing to do with spying," she muttered, her whiskers twitching. "You are right. We have limited candidates for the mission, and an apprentice would be a perfect choice for a spy. But this is going to be dangerous. Are you sure you can handle it? You must sneak out of the territory regularly to report to us; it would not be easy."

"I'll be fine!" Leaf insisted. "I can even report information at night. Sneak in and out before anyone even realizes I'm gone. Please let me do this!" She absolutely hated begging, but it if got her what she wanted, then so be it. She was determined to get her wish at last.

Frost held her daughter's gaze for a long moment. "Well, if that's what you want, then I see no reason to stop you from going on such a venturous quest that would benefit all of us," she mewed. "Though I think it'd be better if I discuss with Fox first." she eyed the tom, waiting for his agreement.

"Though I think it'd be better if I discuss with Fox first." she eyed the tom, waiting for his agreement. Fox, who had been suspicious of Leaf's intentions, nodded. "Let's speak privately, then." He couldn't believe either of them was actually considering this. But then, he wasn't exactly surprised, either. Still, I could use this to my advantage as well, he thought as he moved somewhere more private to speak to Frost, remembering Brightstream once again. Still, is Leaf really up to a task such as this?

They ended up in a den where cats rarely sleep in, and Frost sat down, uncertain of what she should do about Leaf's suggestion. Her daughter seemed quite enthusiastic about the plan, which is somewhat strange; she was glad of her commitment to the group, but it didn't seem that easy.
"What do you think about Leaf's idea, Fox?" Frost mewed. "To be frank, I still felt a little overwhelmed about her spying alone in the Clan. I don't think she really knows what she's risking."

"I'm unsure about it as well," Fox replied. "However, she may have a point. RiverClan would never suspect her, and we need to get moving on somehow. She's not a kit anymore, Frost. I say let her do it."
Besides, he added to himself, the sooner I find out what happened to Brightstream, the sooner I can let it go. A lie, he knew, but one he was willing to keep telling himself until he convinced himself it was true.
Continuing, he meowed, "And who knows, maybe she could even try to change the Clans' ways while she's at it. Or at least get some more cats on our side."

"You think she could manage to do that?" Frost asked, her eyes slightly widened. It sounded ridiculous, but the more she thought about it, the more possible it seemed. She wanted to believe that Leaf might succeed in what she previously tried doing but failed. "But she must know the Clan's ways before joining them. We need to spend some time to plan things out."

Fox was a bit disappointed that Leaf had to wait, but he understood why. "I suppose it would be better if she had some practice, first." Perhaps the young cat would finally understand why Frost rebelled in the first place once she saw how restricted it was. "Does this mean you'll let her do it, then?"

"I suppose we should give it a try," Frost replied. "I'll let her know we're going to carry out her plans. Would you help to sort out the plans for Leaf's spying with me? I don't want to leave out anything, and I think it's less possible for both of us to forget anything important." (I was wondering that maybe we could hold a warrior name ceremony, since Cavepaw is a apprentice that reached his age of a warrior? It would be the first ceremony )
