what is your final opinion of yellowfang? i know you have a love/hate relationship but there must be some overall opinion you have. Overall, I think I do like her- her OS personality, after all, was the first one I was exposed to. Since I started reading Warriors when I was pretty young, she holds a lot of sentimental value for me. I love her as a character, her actions as a dead cat just irk me. |

Why do you dislike Tigerheart? I dislike him because of his immaturity and the drama with Dovewing. The only reason he and Dovewing ever started meeting is because Dovewing went out for a walk and found him snooping in ThunderClan territory. He then promised that he would tell her what he had been doing if she met him just once. And guess what? 'Mysteriously' enough, he never did. He also broke Dovewing's trust. She accidentally told him about the catmint, thinking that ShadowClan already knew about it (because of Ivypool's fake vision). She quickly realized that Tigerheart hadn't knew about it, though. He must have realized that it was a Clan secret, but he went and blabbed to his Clanmates about it, thus betraying Dovewing's trust. I also dislike him- as stated before- because of his immaturity. Tigerheart displayed extreme immaturity, especially when it came to Dovewing's powers. He spied on the meeting with the Clan leaders in TLH, as well as protesting that "I love you!!1!" when Dovewing decided to own up to her responsibilities. He cared nothing about the coming battle, only talking about how cool her powers were. I may be biased against TigerxDove, but the fact that I dislike that pairing doesn't exactly help his standing in my eyes either. |

Even though Star Flower genuinely liked Thunder, she became mates with Clear Sky instead because she knew she had no future with him. She hurt Thunder greatly, and she knew he would never fully trust her again. So she moved on, and found a cat she could relate to and who would give her a chance, which was Clear Sky. They both had similar stories, and were both widely distrusted by many. She could relate to him, and he could relate to her. That's how they fell in love and became mates.
Star Flower supports Clear Sky because she believes he is a good cat. She loves him, so she wants to support him in whatever she does. Is that always a good thing? Of course not. But the past is in the past, and all Clear Sky can do is move on. It would be pointless of her to bring up every mistake he ever made whenever he tries to do something good. They both realize their mistakes, and they are trying to change for the future. Are they making more mistakes along the way? Of course. But they need each other's support to continue on and learn.
Star Flower was not punished, because she lost her father and her support system. After One Eye died, she was thrust into the wild to fend for herself, which was something she had never done. She was already upset, and now alone. During this time, she realized how much she messed up and so she came begging for the Clans mercy. Once Clear Sky took her in, she was a good cat so there was no reason for her to be punished. She already learned her mistakes and proved that she was loyal to SkyClan

Why do you love Thrushpelt? Because he was a sweetheart <3 He was willing to pretend to be the kits' father, even though he didn't know the truth, to make things easier for Bluefur. Especially compared to a cat like Ashfur, who I despise, he is the purest contrast there is; best-scenario example of unrequited love, and so on. I just don't see what there is not to like. |
