OWLPAW || CAMP "Like, out in the territory? But what if we get in trouble for going out without our mentors...?" She trailed off a little towards the end of her sentence, having already made her decision; the more of them the better, right? Surely their mentors wouldn't be too angry if they'd stuck together the entire time, and especially if they brought back lots of prey for the Clan! Owlpaw straightened up and gave an excited little bounce, her tail bushing out. "Okay! I'll come!" She whisper-mewed, blinking happily. She greeted Juniperpaw brightly with a purr and a wave of her tail, glad to have another one of their denmates along.
FEATHERPAW || CAMP Featherpaw perked his ears up at the sound of excited, yet obviously hushed and careful voices from outside the apprentices' den where he'd been napping. There was no mistaking Owlpaw's chirpy voice, and he thought he heard Smokepaw and Juniperpaw too. He rose to his paws and approached the entrance of the den, sticking his head out and squinting at the sudden torrent of light that filled his vision; he was just on time to catch something about going out of camp, and his eyes widened at this. "You're not going out without your mentors, are you?" He called softly, quiet enough so that he would only be heard by the younger apprentices. Featherpaw shook out his pale fur and drew a forepaw over his ear a few times, his gentle green eyes never leaving his denmates. The three of them were all much younger than he was, being fairly new apprentices while he was approaching warriorhood, which meant that Featherpaw felt like he was the 'older brother' figure in the apprentices' den with them around.
BOUNCEWIND || NEAR THE TRAINING HOLLOW Bouncewind almost leaped out of her pelt at the sudden voice disturbing her thoughts, but quickly calmed when she recognised the familiar mew. "Oh, hi Tigerleap!" She greeted, twitching her whiskers amicably at the older she-cat. The ginger warrior paused for a second, glancing around as though she was worried there was somebody else lurking in the undergrowth, before she took a few steps forward and approached Tigerleap. When she was close enough to her Clanmate to lower her voice, she leaned in and spoke again. "Are you going to Streamtrickle's meeting?" This was a risky question, because Tigerleap could very well not be going to Streamtrickle's meeting, and could strongly oppose the whole idea of their little rebellion, but the part of Bouncewind that she usually listened to was telling her that Tigerleap's motive to be out here in the forest was similar to her own.

Laurelwing rose as Ashstorm did, arching his back to give it one more good stretch before standing tall. What he lacked in hearing he made up for in still having a well put-together body, even after all these moons. He noticed her sudden anxiety and touched his tail tip to her shoulder. Then he made his way to the entrance, making sure she was at his side.
Tigerleap came out from behind the bush, feeling the relief flood from her body. โMhmm!โ she said as she approached Bouncewind. โIโm guessing you are too?โ It was good that she didnโt have to travel alone then, if that was the case. And it felt good to know someone else was on their side.
Juniperpaw blinked as she considered what Owlpaw just said. It was true they were leaving without any older warriors... but there were three of them. And they wouldnโt stray too far hopefully, just to thehunting grounds. And if they brought back lots of prey, it would be worth it! She kneaded her paws happily, waiting for Smokepaw to take charge.

Smokepaw - Camp
Excited that her denmates were in, the tiny black she-cat was about to triumphantly march through the camp entrance when another voice caught her attention. Looking back, she noticed Featherpaw looking them over. Smokepaw gulped and nodded, "Only to hunt a little, though... We won't get into any trouble!" She crouched down into a hunting stance, tail swishing excitedly, "We're gonna catch lots of prey so my mentor won't be mad at me for sleeping in! Do you wanna come?" Smokepaw's eyes glittered at the prospect of another denmate joining them, but knowing Featherpaw, he might just try to stop them. When this crossed her mind, she ushered her friends closer to the entrance in case they had to make a run for it. Smokepaw was determined to get that catch!

~Snowpaw - Camp - Smokepaw, Juniperpaw, Owlpaw, Featherpaw~
Snowpaw padded silently up behind Featherpaw, sticking his head around the other tom to peer curiously at his den-mates. He opened his mouth, ready to ask to come along, when Featherpaw mentioned mentors. Guilt shot through his for a moment, thinking of the sweet she-cat who had taught him so much, before he scowled and pushed it away. Brambleflower would apparently throw him into the wild to fend for himself. 'Who cares what she thinks,' He huffed, shoving the guilt down and smiling at the other Apprentices. "Can I come along?" He chirped quietly, tail curling in excitement, "I haven't been outside the Camp at all today."

OWLPAW || CAMP The little tabby gulped, glancing hesitantly up at Featherpaw. The much older apprentice wore an unreadable expression, and Owlpaw could not tell what he was going to do now that he'd caught them; from her past experiences with Featherpaw she'd found him to be very kind, so perhaps he would let them be on their way..? She hoped that would be the case. She obediently shuffled after Smokepaw, backing up a little as she felt her denmates tense beside her, as though they were going to make a run for it. When she spotted Snowpaw approaching the group too, her eyes widened even further - she didn't want to look foolish in front of the older apprentices.
FEATHERPAW || CAMP Featherpaw blinked in alarm as all three of them seemed to stiffen up upon his approach. "I won't tell on you, if that's what you're worried about. It's not like you've got bad intentions or anything," the long-legged tom purred, twitching his whiskers, but he hesitated at Smokepaw's offer to accompany them. He didn't want the young she-cats to get themselves in trouble out there, because although they could most likely handle themselves if they were to encounter a particularly aggressive squirrel, he doubted they'd stand much of a chance if a badger or something found them; they were only a couple of moons into their apprenticeships and Featherpaw didn't think their mentors had gone through how to combat a much larger and more dangerous predator. "If I had any faith that I could stop you from going, I'd try, but it appears you're all pretty determined," he sighed, closing his eyes briefly as he shook his head. He strode out from the shade of the den and approached the three, glancing down at them from where he stood a whole head above. "I suppose I'll come along." The handsome tom shook out his long fur and stretched for a moment, "I can keep an eye on you all," he teased, his voice gentle. He turned to Snowpaw at the sound of the other tom's voice, and was overcome with relief when he asked to come with; at least he wouldn't have to mind the three of them on his own. "I think Smokepaw is in charge of this little expedition," he purred good-naturedly.
BOUNCEWIND || NEAR THE TRAINING HOLLOW Bouncewind breathed a sigh of relief, allowing herself to relax. "Yeah, I figured I'd get out here early so I don't miss anything. I feel like a more supportive audience would mean a lot to Streamtrickle," she responded, flicking her tail with a quick glance in the direction of the hollow. "I thought I smelled him out here a little while ago, so I guess he's come early too to get prepared. I was going to do some hunting in the meantime so I don't go back to the Clan empty-pawed later. Wanna come with?" The ginger warrior looked slightly up at the older she-cat, blinking amicably. She liked Tigerleap; they shared common beliefs and the older warrior was always pleasant to talk to - Bouncewind was really glad Tigerleap was on their side.

Smokepaw - Camp
Feeling her chest swell with pride at the older tom's acknowledgement, the tiny she-cat bowed her head in exaggerated humility. Her heart beat wildly in her chest, this was going to be so much fun! Hearing Snowpaw's eager voice, she flicked an ear in Featherpaw's direction to let him know she had heard him, "Of course you can come!" She purred happily, grinning back at Owlpaw and Juniperpaw, "I think we could all do with a little leg stretch!" Puffing out her chest again, she began to lead her fellow apprentices out of the camp. "Alright everyone! Eyes and ears open!" Smokepaw mewed sharply, doing her best to imitate a deputy or senior warrior. She held her little head high, and began to filter through the scents that wafted through her nostrils. She still had a little trouble discerning prey from all the plant smells, but Smokepaw was determined to bring back the biggest mouse the Clan had ever seen! She made sure to keep an eye on her sister as well, making sure she felt okay. She tried to catch Owlpaw's eye and stifled her excitement, though the glimmer in her eye gave away her now boundless energy.

FEATHERPAW || OUTSIDE OF CAMP Featherpaw blinked warmly at Smokepaw before following her towards the entrance of camp, casting a quick glance over his shoulder to make sure nobody was looking in their direction. When he realised that nobody was paying any attention to their group, he waited til everyone else had gone through the tunnel before slipping out himself. When Smokepaw gave her command, the pale tabby tom stifled an amused purr and exchanged a glance with Snowpaw. He parted his jaws to taste the air and pricked his ears, but was unable to scent or hear anything; they would have to venture out quite a bit further into the territory to find any prey. "Where to first of all, deputy Smokepaw?" His soft voice held a slightly playful undertone.
OWLPAW || OUTSIDE OF CAMP Owlpaw beamed, bounding excitedly after her denmates and wriggling her way through the tunnel, skidding to a halt on the other side. She met Smokepaw's eyes and twitched her whiskers happily. They had their own little patrol! It was going to be just like an adventure from one of the elders' stories - maybe they'd find a huge squirrel or manage to drag down a bird as big as a cat! The little tabby took quick steps to keep up with the longer legs of Featherpaw and Snowpaw and fell into stride beside Juniperpaw. "This is going to be so much fun!" She whispered excitedly to Juniperpaw.

AshstormAshstorm plods slowly alongside Laurelwing, wondering if, "StarClan, have I always been this small?" as she has to plod twice as fast as she normally would to keep up with her companion. She had shrunk since her warriorhood, definitely, but had Laurelwing only grown upwards since his birth? Ashstorm spotted the small group of apprentices murmuring amongst themselves, clearly planning to sneak out without their mentors permission, but Ashstorm said nothing at all, only giving a small smile as she remembered times when she'd sneak out of camp as an apprentice- sometimes with friends and sometimes with the at-the-time cutest tom. Ashstorm looked up at Laurelwing, flicking her tail along his flank to grab his attention, "So, where shall we go?"
((I have Swansong open, if anyone's interested, and Whitepaw's here too, since I've technically reversed his character to the few days before the whole announcement thing, meaning no one knows he supports the rebels. Plus Spruceleap is there too, probably chilling in the back of camp somewhere))

~Snowpaw - Camp - Smokepaw, Juniperpaw, Owlpaw, Featherpaw~
Snowpaw followed the others out of Camp, sticking to the shadows as best he could so the light didn't shine on his fur and give them away. He was nearly vibrating with energy, finally starting to feel like himself again. He began to bounce as he stuck close to Featherpaw. "This is so exciting!" He hissed lowly, bright blue eyes sparkling with mischief and happiness, "I can't wait to catch something! I want to bring Ashstorm and Laurelwing back something." Snowpaw adored the Elders, would even if he weren't related to both of them. When he was little and couldn't stay still, his mother would take him to the Elder's Den and the stories they told always enraptured him.

FEATHERPAW || OUTSIDE OF CAMP The pale tabby purred, watching Snowpaw out of the corner of his eye. "I'm sure we'll catch lots of prey, and I bet Ashstorm and Laurelwing will be incredibly grateful to you for bringing back the best meal they've ever had!" His voice was gentle; Featherpaw rarely ever spoke little louder than a murmur, as he could never get used to shouting. He knew Snowpaw didn't have the best relationship with his mentor, and was feeling down after being stuck in camp for so long, and so he was glad that the other tom had chosen to come with them, because it made Featherpaw happy to see his friends enjoying themselves. A part of him was still worried about any consequences this little expedition might have when the group returned to camp, but he tried not to dwell on that thought as he felt his chest tightening a bit.

Smokepaw - Outside of Camp
Smokepaw looked thoughtful, opening her jaws like the older apprentice to get a better scent of the area, "Well... I think we should stay in the western hunting grounds!" She nodded her head in affirmation. That would lower the severity of any lectures they received when they got home, as well as make it a quick trip, "We should try to stay away from the training clearing too, since I doubt any prey would be around there." The little black she-cat thought hard; she hadn't been out of camp too much before... But that had never stopped her before! She continued to stride forward, all senses alert, "Let's go a little north of the clearing and try hunting there." She commanded, her tail swishing excitedly. Smokepaw made sure that everyone was still with her, and now positioned herself into an amateurish crouch, whiskers twitching in anticipation.

Juniperpaw followed along quietly, although she was just as excited as the other apprentices to be going out. Now with all five of them, especially the older Featherpaw, it would be much easier to justify their going-out. When Owlpaw spoke to her she flicked her ear. โYeah,โ she replied quietly, curling her tail. As her sister commanded where the patron should hunt, she purred, almost in amazement in how she took charge so easy.
Tigerleap modded. โGood idea!โ she said, whiskers twitching. It would make them look less suspicious for sure. She parted her lips as they started walking around the hunting grounds, scenting for any prey. However, her mind kept wandering to the meeting and she had to speak up again. โHow many cats do you think will be there?โ
Laurelwing flicked his ear and thought to himself, glancing up at the sky. โLetโs go to the eastern grounds,โ he said. โItโs farther away, but itโs a nice walk.โ He took notice of the group of apprentices walking to the western side, and knew heโd rather let them have their fun before older cats ruined it.

OWLPAW || WESTERN HUNTING GROUNDS Owlpaw purred delightedly and followed Smokepaw, eyes widening in surprise as her friend took charge of the patrol; she glanced upwards at Featherpaw, expecting anything other than amusement to be reflected in his pale eyes, but the grey tom seemed to be completely content with Smokepaw's instructions despite being the oldest there. So, Owlpaw picked up the pace to stand beside Smokepaw and glanced around, sniffing the air. "I can smell other cats, maybe close-by," she mewed fretfully, her tail bushing out. Of course it was the familiar TreeClan scent, but Owlpaw didn't want to get caught so soon after leaving the camp. Hopefully the unknown TreeClan warriors would move on to where Owlpaw's keen nose couldn't pick them up so they could get to hunting.
FEATHERPAW || WESTERN HUNTING GROUNDS Featherpaw recognised the scents that hit his nose almost as soon as Owlpaw voiced her worry. "It's just Bouncewind and Tigerleap," he told the others, "we can keep going. And north of the clearing is a good idea, there's loads of mouse nests in the bushes down that end." He had also recognised Ashstorm and Laurelwing's scents from behind them, but chose to say nothing; he knew the elders would pay no mind to their expedition - they were pretty cool. The pale tabby tom began to walk, passing Smokepaw and pushing his head through a clump of tall grass a tail-length or so ahead of the others. He just glimpsed the tip of Bouncewind's ginger tail vanishing into the undergrowth quite a way away, a good tree-length and a bit, so he turned back around to beckon the rest of the group with a flick of his tail. After a few more steps the tom picked up the familiar smell of a mouse, and he quickly flattened himself to the ground. Featherpaw was by no means a good hunter, but he might as well try this time, even if missing such an easy catch would definitely be embarrassing in front of his younger and more capable denmates. He crept slowly forwards, following the scent while trying to remain as quiet as possible; he tucked his paws a little further underneath him, waiting to spring, when the mouse he was looking for nosed its way out of a pile of leaves. The tabby apprentice lunged for the creature, claws outstretched, but the mouse heard him before he could land his blow and whirled around, meaning Featherpaw slammed his paws down just short of his prey, missing it by a whisker's breadth. The mouse darted off and vanished, and Featherpaw's pelt burned with shame. He sheepishly straightened and lashed his tail, not turning around to face the others. "Sorry, my bad," he murmured, eyes slightly downcast.
BOUNCEWIND || NEAR THE TRAINING HOLLOW Bouncewind thought carefully about Tigerleap's question, trying to picture the hollow as Streamtrickle was giving his speech; she could not see an awful lot of cats there, but in her mind she envisioned at least a pawful of cats gathered around him. Of course she would be there; as would Tigerleap and Whitepaw, perhaps some others too. Enough, she hoped, for us to work with. "I think five or six, maybe more. From what happened in the camp, most of the Clan don't like Streamtrickle's idea, but I have faith that at least a couple of them will have come around by now," she admitted to the older she-cat.

Ashstorm"Sounds good," Ashstorm flicked her tail towards the direction the apprentices seemed to be heading, "Doubt they want us elderly losers tagging along on their little adventure." Ashstorm purred with amusement. The eastern grounds were always the more pretty areas of the territory, with tall trees that were always catching the sun perfectly. Ashstorm hadn't been on a walk in a while, and she missed exploring the territory with her fellow warriors. It was nice, even if it was just a walk-around. And Laurelwing was good company, mainly because he nodded deafly in agreement with all of her statements and gossiping.

Smokepaw - Western Hunting Grounds (WHG)
Her fears of being discovered quickly alleviated by Featherpaw's recognition of the scents, Smokepaw once again focused on hunting. She tried not to look indignant when Featherpaw passed her, but that indignation quickly turned to pity when the handsome tom missed the catch. She stood on the toes to give him a playful nudge, "It's okay Featherpaw, it happens to the best of us! You'll get it next time!" She tried to soothe his obvious shame, though she wasn't much better at hunting herself, "The first one's always a warm up! At least, that's what the warriors tell me." She perked her ears at the sound of a quiet nibble further along in the undergrowth. She crouched, slinking her way around thickets to find her target. A meager squirrel was nibbling at an acorn some ways away. Trying to remember what Gorsewhisker had taught her, Smokepaw crouched, wiggling her rump slightly. She leaped, barely scraping the rodent with one of her empty claws. She hissed in irritation, as the squirrel shot off, but quickly brightened up as the small fluffy tail bounced its way towards the other apprentices, "Catch that squirrel!" She yowled, bounding after it.

((Haha, you know, I think Snowpaw is starting to develop a crush on Featherpaw. ^^ Not quite sure yet, but it's feeling that way.))
~Snowpaw - Western Hunting Grounds - Smokepaw, Juniperpaw, Owlpaw, Featherpaw~
Snowpaw bounded up beside Featherpaw smiling up at the older Apprentice. "Smokepaw's right," He purred quietly, trying to reassure the other tom, "Besides, even Warriors don't catch everything they go for." He brushed his shoulder against Featherpaw, grinning and waving his tail as he tried to cheer him up. Then, a loud call made his ears perk up as his head snapped around. Chase. Excitement flooded him as he watched the squirrel rushing towards them. He took off with a gleeful chirping sound echoing in his throat. He leapt for the squirrel, claws flashing and fangs bared. He hissed as it darted to the side, but his claws caught on the tail and he twisted, flinging it towards his waiting clanmates. He continued in his path, tumbling through the undergrowth and laughing as he was stopped by the branches of a bush.

(Awwww that would be really cute! Featherpaw would likely be really oblivious to it, if it was to happen!)
FEATHERPAW || WESTERN HUNTING GROUNDS Featherpaw glanced between Smokepaw and Snowpaw, sheepish yet appreciative of their reassurance. He returned Smokepaw's friendly nudge with a soft purr and briefly touching Snowpaw's flank with his nose in a gesture of thanks. "Thanks, guys, it just sucks that I missed it," he mewed, shaking his fur out. He snapped his head around immediately at Smokepaw's yowl and was about to respond when a very small yet very fierce ball of dark tabby fur bowled past him, paws skidding in the dirt: Owlpaw was giving chase, and it seemed everybody else was too. He mrrowed with laughter, chest rumbling in an exhilarated purr, but did not give chase; he would let the younger ones catch the squirrel to keep them in good spirits.
OWLPAW || WESTERN HUNTING GROUNDS Owlpaw shot after the squirrel, paws churning up the dirt underneath her as she took off like a badger was on her tail. She saw Snowpaw's white pelt flashing in her peripheral vision as he darted through the undergrowth beside her, keeping pace stride for stride, until all of a sudden he snagged the squirrel and swung it in her direction before colliding with a bush. Owlpaw yelped in surprise and skidded in the mud, veering after the squirrel. She couldn't see Smokepaw, but assumed her friend was somewhere close-by, also honed in on their prey. The little tabby pushed her legs harder, forcing herself to speed up even though her chest was beginning to tighten; she flung herself the last little stretch and with a yowl, launched herself at the squirrel. She ran right into its hind legs and bowled it - and herself - clean over. She rolled for a few moments, trying to cling to her prey, but unable to get a clean grip. When she stopped rolling, she found herself on her stomach, all four paws splayed out. The squirrel darted away into the bushes, slowed down by its new limp. "Get it, Smokepaw!" She called out, leaping to her paws.

| STONESHARD | Outside Of Camp - Starter The lithe tom stifled a yawn as he bent down to pick up the prey that lay at his paws, the results of a productive morning. Stoneshard hadn't slept well the night before, but he was not about to let himself sleep in, he had a strict schedule he had made for himself and he was not about to let it slide and start detrimental habits like sleeping in. The blue-grey warrior flicked his tail as he raised his head, his ears swivelling as he listened to the thrum of the forest around him. Dipping into a deep stretch Stoneshard closed his eyes contently, enjoying the warmth of the dappled sunlight filtering through the trees on his dark pelt. Shaking out his fur sharply, the tom began to trot quickly back to camp, the squirrel and two mice swinging from his jaws with each step.
| ROBINFLIGHT | Camp - Starter Pale green eyes glowed from the inside of the warrior's den as Robinflight stepped out into the camp's clearing. Blinking the sleep from her eyes, the russet she-cat let her eyes adjust to the light of the day, letting her jaws part in a wide yawn. Shaking the loose pieces of moss from her pelt she found a secluded area of the camp where she could settle down and quickly groom her pelt, straightening out the tufts of fur that had been messed by her sleep. As she cleaned her fur with long strokes, her eyes scanned the camp, merely observing the buzz of activity that surrounded her as cats moved about.
| PEBBLEPAW | Camp - Starter The petite apprentice moved carefully through the camp, making sure to not trip or bump into anyone, something that was quite difficult to do with her limited visibility. She had a rather large roll of dirty moss beneath her chin as she moved away from the elder's den towards the camp exit to dispose of the old bedding. She hummed softly as she weaved through the camp, nearly stumbling over her own paws but managing to catch herself before she toppled over. Her tail flicked absentmindedly as she exited the camp, finding a suitable place to leave the used moss. She paused for a moment quickly scenting the air before shaking her pelt firmly to loosen the flecks of moss that clung to her fur.
| TWIGPAW | Medicine Cat's Den - Starter "Burdock root cures infections in bites, honey soothes sore throats, juniper berries help with stomach aches and shortness of breath, poppy seeds for shock but not for kits..." Twigpaw muttered quietly under his breath as he sorted through the herbs, he prided himself on how many herbs he knew already, but despite his personal accomplishments his brother always felt as though he always had to one-up him. The three-legged tom gritted his teeth in determination as he began to run through the herbs once more, his tail twitching irritably as he glared at the herbs at his paws. After running through their uses once more, Twigpaw carefully returned them to their designated areas. The brown tabby tom shifted his weight on his paws trying to get more comfortable as he watched the clan bustling from the mouth of the den.
| SPIDERPAW | Camp - Starter Dark fur rose and fell steadily as the apprentice began to stir. Spiderpaw blearily blinked open his eyes, closing them sharply in response to the harsh sunlight that filtered into the den. Yawning, the tom tried once more, glancing around the den and finding it empty. He had slept in once more, not that he minded it much, but hopefully, Grassheart wouldn't mind. The tom debated staying in his nest for a tad longer, but the thought of disappointing his mentor dragged him out of bed. Wearily he rose to his paws and stumbled out into the camp yawning once more. Sitting down in the camp clearing, Spiderpaw scratched an itch just behind his front left leg, closing his eyes happily as he relieved the annoyance. Rising to his paws once more, the tom shook out his thik coat and scanned the camp for someone to talk to or something to do.

SpruceleapSpruceleap was lounging about in the back of camp, after a good hunting patrol, head on paws and eyes half-lidded and tempted to fall asleep. Everyone seemed to be out and all the apprentices had "inconspicuously" disappeared. Even Ashstorm and Laurelwing had left camp to go on a walk together. Spruceleap was incredibly bored and wanted nothing more than a good chat with another warrior, a good gossip if possible, or even just a passing comment that would allow him to talk the instigator's ear off. He spotted Robinflight emerging from the Warriors den, yawning, a bit late for the usually diligent she-cat to be getting up, but Spruceleap didn't blame her. His ears perked, ready to launch into an onslaught of chattering and chirping if needed.

| ROBINFLIGHT | Camp - Spruceleap As Robinflight finished her meticulous grooming, her gaze fell upon the jovial tom who had seemed to have noticed her. Offering the other warrior a slight smile, Robinflight padded over feeling in the mood to do something with her day and deciding talking to someone would be a beneficial first step. As she neared the tom, Robinflight dipped her head in greeting, "How are you doing today Spruceleap?" She knew the tom was known for being quite chatty, but she didn't mind listening, plus she hadn't had many chances to get to know the other warrior as well as she would have liked.

Smokepaw - WHG
Roaring with excitement, Smokepaw leaped over her friend. Once again, she missed the squirrel with her front paws, but quickly slammed her hind legs down once she had contact with the ground and effectively stunned the squirrel. Though she fumbled while turning around the tiny she-cat hastily gripped the squirrel in her jaws, ending the hunt with a swift nip. She dropped the squirrel, amber eyes shining with pride, "I caught it!" Smokepaw exclaimed. However, she startled when she remembered the Clan tradition that Gorsewhisker had explained to her. Laying beside her kill, she quickly thanked StarClan for the catch before rising again and bringing the squirrel back to the group, "Good job guys! We did it!" Smokepaw was more than proud, completely ignoring the fact that they had probably scared away any prey within a good few foxlengths.

OWLPAW || WESTERN HUNTING GROUNDS The little tabby bounded over excitedly to get a better look at the squirrel. She was favouring one of her forepaws, presumably from the tumble, but her orange eyes shone with glee. "You were so fast! It's huge!" She exclaimed in awe, staring at the prey; it wasn't terribly large, but it was almost as big as Owlpaw herself, so that made it pretty big to her. "There's no way you'll get in trouble after bringing this back home!"
FEATHERPAW || WESTERN HUNTING GROUNDS Featherpaw padded over to inspect the squirrel, nosing at it for a moment before pulling back. "You did really well to catch that, it was fast!" He mewed, good-naturedly flicking Smokepaw over the ear with his tail. He glanced at Owlpaw's wobbly stance and took note of her elevated forepaw, wincing, before turning around to see where Snowpaw had gone. He'd seen the fluffy white tom racing alongside Owlpaw, but had lost sight of him after he vanished into a bush. "I'll go find Snowpaw," he told the others, trotting off in the direction he'd seen the two younger apprentices set off. Featherpaw thanked StarClan for his keen sense of smell when he soon picked up Snowpaw's scent, and he only had to follow it for a few moments before he found the fluffy apprentice inside the bush he'd disappeared into. He purred in amusement, ducking his head underneath the first branch to talk to his denmate. "Smokepaw caught it! We're going to head on a little more, need any help getting out?"

((sorry yall, i got a lil busy this week))
Juniperpaw came forward to look at the squirrel, eyes wide. โGood catch!โ she squeaked as she looked up at Smokepaw. She decided not to give chase when the other apprentices did, staying back with Featherpaw. She figured it wouldnโt do them good to have too many cats after it at once. The black tabby apprentice then glanced over at Owlpaw, and noticed her weight shifted onto one side. โIs your paw okay?โ she said in a much softer voice, having to keep from sniffing at it. Any level of injury made her nervous, even if it wasnโt her own.
Laurelwing watched the apprentice go for a moment, then headed toward the eastern grounds with Ashstorm at his side. He always enjoyed going on solo walks with her, even when they were younger warriors. They had never quite found the romantic spark most cats expected from them early on, but they were definitely best friends and knew each other really well. He knew that at some point on this walk, Ashstorm would start meowing on about another goings-on in camp, and heโd listen intently (as much as possible, anyway).
Tigerleap slowly started nodding. โYouโre probably right,โ she said, though her eyes shone with hope. โIt makes sense that a lot of cats didnโt speak up about it. I mean, did you see how some of the older warriors looked at Streamtrickle?โ She had a newfound respect for the younger warrior, that was for sure. It took a lot of courage to speak out agaisnt something that hadnโt been argued against for so many seasons. To her, it was exciting to witness and now be part of a coming revolution.

~Snowpaw - Western Hunting Grounds - Smokepaw, Juniperpaw, Owlpaw, Featherpaw~
Snowpaw had hushed his giggles by the time Featherpaw had ducked his head under the bush and was catching his breath. "That was so much fun," He purred breathlessly, blue eyes bright as he twisted his head to beam brightly at the other tom. He wriggled around, getting to his paws and pushing himself through the branches. His fur snagged on a few branches, making him wince at the slight pain, but he made it through without getting caught. "All good!" He chirped, shaking out his fluffy white pelt, "I'll have to congratulate Smokepaw for the catch."
Snowpaw bounced on his toes, evaluating to see if he was hurt anywhere after his tumble, but he felt fine. The young Apprentice crouched down for a moment, before bouncing up in excitement and butting his head against Featherpaw's shoulder. "Thanks for coming to get me," He chirped, bounding backwards, "Let's get back to the others!" Snowpaw happily made his way back through the undergrowth, sticking his head out from the middle of a bunch of ferns to grin at the small group. "Nice catch, Smokepaw!" He chirruped, padding towards the squirrel and nosing it, pleased with the size of the first catch. He was still determined to catch a couple of things by himself though.
