This includes characters who may have dabbled with their evil side but had a redemption later. Also don't be afraid to put in your Evil AUs, no matter how out there it is, I know I will. Go crazy.
Mine:
Bluestar. Swiftpaw. Onestar. Mothwing. Tadpole (If he had lived. And is evil for ironic reasons. He put extreme effort into distancing himself from his father by "fighting Tigerstar's old allies". Yet it comes round full circle and he unintentionally becomes more like Tigerstar.)
One of the Three. Probably Hollyleaf or Jayfeather. Lionblaze seems a little too obvious. Clear Sky. (Should be the first Dark Forest cat.) Breezepelt. (Did too many crimes to be realistically redeemed for me. If the Erins wanted him to take that route, remove the Moonpool attack)
Goosefeather. (Even more extreme with his omens then in the canon) Smudge/Ravenpaw/Scourge (Always felt they could of been the same character: Kittypet friend who joined Thunderclan with Rusty. Got an abusive mentor in Tigerclaw, so ran away. But later returned as a villain.) Whitestorm/Lionheart (At least someone who's more surprising twist villain then Tigerclaw.)

If Sparkpelt turns out to be a villain I will forgive so much about this series.

Breezepelt A ThunderClan Dark Forest trainee ... Blossomfall, maybe Tempted to say Clear Sky but I think I like the idea of a well-done redemption arc for him more Ivypool as a villain POV character for OOTS would have been AWESOME, my #1 choice, wouldn't mind if she were redeemed halfway through the arc either, just that she was wickedly evil at first Star Flower
I LLOVVEE your Smudge/Ravenpaw/Scourge idea!

I really wanted villain Star Flower. I would've probably liked it more than what we actually did get.

Actually there's and AU where Ravenpaw joins BloodClan and becomes Scourge's right-hand cat.

Honestly, Hollyleaf and Ivypool.

Sparkpeltttt but definitely more of an Anti-villain rather than straight up evil. I know this idea is suuuuuper far fetched but if Tigerstar wasn't killed in the great battle it would have been really interesting for the DF to actually try their hand at the whole re-incarnation thing that they pulled with Cinderheart. A character that is inherently good but is driven mad by the guilt of horrible crimes that they vaguely remember committing. Bonus points if it's a Firestar clone. I would eat that kinda drama up.

Sparkpelt, Ivypool, Breezepelt, Blossomfall, and Smudge/Ravenpaw (although I like them the way they are). An evil Leafpool would honestly be cool to me, but that's just me.

Evil Dovewing because cats keep telling that she can't f*** the shadowclan cat.
Evil Ivypool for DF shenanigans.
Evil Hollyleaf because she already killed a cat in cold blood for personal reasons anyway.
A more competent Breezepelt because any cat that manages to kill Lionblaze will got to the top 3 of favorite cats of mine.
Overlord Berrynose making his own evil clan so he can finally have an apprentice, Brightheart is the first to join.

Ok so. Imagine an evil, charismatic, seems dumb but is actually brilliant and well acted Berrynose who is so desperate to prove he deserves to be a brave and well respected Thunderclan Warrior that he stages battles and plants evidence and causes wars that turn in Thunderclan’s favor. He knows how to persuade and can read Bramblestar like a book because he was his only apprentice, and he slowly gets angrier as he is talked down to and not given an apprentice after moons of loyalty.
Plot twist #2 is that Poppyfrost is in on it and she lured the snake towards camp to kill off Honeyfern to get to Berrynose. The two of them make for an ideal, healthy on the outside, rotten and ambitious on the inside power couple who fool the cats around them constantly.
Berrynose plans revenge on the Shadowclan cats who watched him suffer as a kit, and that’s what starts his road down to darkness. The feeling of pure satisfaction when he gets a chance to make his tormentors bleed, so he in turn becomes a tormentor himself.
Poppyfrost is obsessed with Berrynose, and becomes a sweet on the outside, envious and manipulative on the inside kind of character. She is envious of her sisters for being more liked and noticed, and when she wants something, she gets it. She sets her sights on Berrynose and on higher ranks like deputyship and leadership.

You don’t think of “villian.” When you see their names. So they are not deemed dangerous at first glance. They act normal and fun and arrogant, but on the inside they are psychotic, envious and selfish little monsters who get what they want when they want it. Poppyfrost kills Honeyfern to get to Berrynose, and Berrynose is fine with it, hence why they got together so quickly.

No mother could possibly predict their newborn will be a murderous tyrant and give them an "evil name" beforehand. The trope makes character acts strangely. Like Yellowfang giving her daughters pleasant names like "Wishkit" and "Hopekit". But then naming her son "Brokenkit" after her broken heart. That would be a terrible realization for anyone if they discovered that's the meaning of their name.

I think another potential crime Poppyfrost and Berrynose could commit, is against the forgiven Dark Forest trainees. Even in the canon, the groundwork is already there. During Dovewing's Silence, Berrynose wanted all the trainees to be executed. It gets even worse with his kits, Cherrypaw and Molepaw, obviously under his influence: Playing with Brightheart's 2nd litter, where the trainees turned out to be still evil and they have to kill them. Even committing borderline attempted murder against a whole patrol, including innocent Dovewing - When the apprentices inform them of a fox, but purposefully leave the detail, it caught in a trap and more dangerous than normal: So if Berrynose and Poppyforst did all that just in the canon, there's definitely potential for villainy in this plotline. Where Berrynose and Poppyfrost attempt to exile or kill the former Trainees, despite already swearing the new oath and taking on extra duties. Berrynose especially has a good motive. As a born loner, he's probably had to work harder than most to gain acceptance. However, yet he sees those actual traitors, especially ones like Breezepelt, not needing to put any effort into being forgiven by the Leaders and getting no punishment.

As a possible motive for evil Sparkpelt, I think her option on Skyclan leaving. Taking it to the extreme by trying to drive Skyclan out after it's officially decided they can stay. And to make sure the 2nd half of VOS is somewhat connected to the 1st, Sparkpelt could grow so desperate, she reluctantly employs the help of the left-over Kin members.
Though to keep up the message: Characters can have different options from the main lead but still not evil, is that Alderheart originally makes the same mistake as the audience - Which would be, all those against Skyclan staying, is assumed to be as extreme/violent as Sparkpelt is. However, Alderheart discovers he jumped to conclusions and acted out against ultimate innocent cats.

While I believe Berrynose’s suspicions for the DF trainees is justified, especially after all the slaughter and the trainees cowering before battle while Berrynose’s kits risked their lives to run messages from clan to clan, I can see this becoming really dark and brutal and for Berry and Poppy to plot to truly punish the DF trainees while also roping their kits into it. Especially since both Mousewhisker and Birchfall, Berrynose’s brother and friend clearly lied to him and trained with evil cats.
