Camp Half-Blood --- God's Fate --- Open for joining!

Marco ran over towards Levi and looked around. He saw the camp and he looked back at the beast. It was the first time he'd seen what the monster looked like. It was a large one eyed beast. A cyclopes.

Marco nodded. He was afraid for this kid's life but he knew he'd be safe through the border. He sprinted through and was passed by a girl who ran out of the border.

Avis drew her bow at the sight of the cyclops. She fired an arrow at the eye and missed only slightly because it moved. It still hit the head of the Cyclops and gave Levi enough time to attack it easier.

Levi pulled his sword out of the monster's eye, then let himself slide down the monster's face. He stabbed his second sword in the side of the Cyclop's nose a few seconds later to stop himself, then started the rather ardeous task of scrambling his way around his head towards his back, hoping to get to the sweet spot where the cyclops couldn't reach, then carving him up like a turkey. "Kid, get back!" He shouted, as he did so, seeing the new kid he'd just saved running back. Even if Levi had known the new kid was a son of Hades, he'd still have yelled it, since he knew that the kid had no hopes of controlling a cyclops. They were monsters sure, but they were associated more with Posieden, and therefore definitely didn't count as the few creatures of darkness a Hades kid had any control over.

"I'm a little hung up here!" Levi called down, finally positioning himself out of the reach of the cyclops. He dug one of his swords deep into the monster's back, using it as a handhold to keep him up as the rest of his body dangled. Then, he got to work, slicing as much of the monster's skin as he could with the other sword. It was quite disgusting work, but with any luck, it would only be a few minutes before they'd finally inflicted enough damage for the thing to just turn to dust already.

"It's a common mistake," Elenor mumbled, probably not anywhere near loud enough for him to hear. Growing up as sickly as she had, plus the malnourishment she'd faced in some of the foster homes, she was still rather petite for her age. It was one of the many things she was embarrassed about. "So are just going to go back to sleep in your corner, or was there something you going to do?" She asked, busying herself with pulling clay from the wet bucket she always kept full, and setting up on the wheel. Even though she didn't really want her half brother around, she wasn't going to let him ruin her entire free period.



Levi was still hacking away at the monster's back, and kind of feeling like he was getting no where. So, he adjusted himself, positioning the swords slightly differently, and started to slide down the monster's back, ripping two wide gashes as he went. They had to get this thing down soon, or someone was going to get hurt. And it would be Levi's fault since he was the first counselor on the scene, and the one who'd decided to challenge it on his own instead of waiting for even more backup.

Levi had by then gotten to just about the end of his ride. He'd planned on using the wind to catch himself, but sliding down a rope was probably a more energy efficient way to do it, since he only had a few more bursts of flight in him before he wore himself out. Levi shifted both of the swords to grip awkwardly in his right hand, then grabbed the rope with his left and landed lightly on the ground, immediately sprinting out of the reach of the cyclops to catch his breath and come up with a new plan.

Vance once again looked back at his dark corner upon Elenor’s comment, and then back at his half sister. “No,” he sighed at last, “Chiron would kill me.” After another moment of hesitation, Vance sat down across from Elenor. It was easier than trying to face the outside.

Vance frowned and ran a finger across the pottery wheel. It gave on slow, sad spin. He looked up at the clay Elenor was mounding. “What’s that going to be?”

Elias felt an immeasurable amount of joy now that it was free period. There were so many things to do, so many opportunities to grasp in that short period of time. The boy had planned on watching wrestling, but there was none on tonight and that meant he needed to find something to do.

He’d already popped his head into the Hephaestus cabin, but none of them had needed his help, which was disappointing. The arts and crafts cabin sat seemingly abandoned, and Elias would’ve rather died than done arts and crafts.

Now there were a few options open for Elias. He could go do something productive, perhaps help with the strawberry farm, or he could hang out with the nymphs, or maybe even play volleyball, despite his height. But there was one thing Elias longed to do - discover the conspiracy behind the Hades cabin. He had thoroughly convinced himself that there was something to be uncovered there, that there was something wrong with that cabin.

Elias was sure none of the campers were inside. Why would they be? Even the children of Hades needed to get out. Elias looked around in a rather suspicious manner. He approached the cabin, and when he was sure no one was around, slowly opened the door and stepped inside.
