Greetings.
I am Nightweaver. I used to be known as Nightrender on the original forums. I've changed it thusly because I can't unsee it as 'nigh-trender'. I am anything but 'trendy' //cringe
So, what is it like here? I imagine the moderation isn't quite as anal. If it were, I'm sure this post will be deleted for using such 'language'.
I'm not necesarily interested in joining clans or roleplays, but may make my own. Just throwing that out there now so please don't advertise here mk.
I'm not sure what else to say. I enjoy the macabre and have a cousin on here somewhere. We'll see how active I can be before dropping off the face of the earth :>

Welcome to the forums!
It's always nice to see a fellow veteran of the old forums! I hope you get the opportunity to reconnect with the community, and who knows? Maybe find yourself connecting to a few new communities. A lot of people who were a part of the old forums are still here chilling, and we also have plenty of new faces to add to the family. As members age, a lot of peeps are struggling with the realities of having a job, going to school or starting a family. Many others are growing up just like we grew up with the original forums. So it's a pretty healthy mix, and i'm certain you can find something of interest; whether it be a role-play, a chat page, or a group!
We still moderate rules as any site would, so if any of us sneak in to edit anything; it's just us doing our job!

I'm glad to see vets here as well, even if I don't immediately recognize them. I wasn't particularly well-known but still.
And I didn't mean to attack moderation at all! Xd We all just remember what... they were like. Anything you all do is far better than they ever were, I'm sure!

Been a while, I hope life has been going well for ya. As for not recognizing peeps, it has to do with the ability to change Usernames a lot. At least the tags don't change, haha unless you connect to a different account via proboards. Overall, there's a neat feature in the account that lets you write out your previous screen name, so when everyone hovers over it, they can see it.

Ah the internet, the world to escape the world. A good choice, but sometimes the internet becomes a burden when your professor wants you to read research available online. Then it's a chore. Nonetheless, I'm glad to hear that things are going well for ya. On my end things have been a rollercoaster but doable at the end of the day, one hurtle at a time.
Though if you are ever in the mood to chat for some escape, hit me up! Just tag me @ shiningdiamond and i'll come to your aid. unless i'm working at school or stuck in traffic.
Curious to see what your imagination brings to the table in terms of role-play. I tend to lurk there, joined a few and at times dive into a few others. So i'm there just chilling.
