the entire HTML layout of Fate Undecided, my really old warriors fanfic(god bless find & replace) dramatic introduction header thing aka first post: They say that I'm the one . . . ... that the prophecy clearly dictates that I will destroy the Clan. Me, and this newfound power of mine. Okay, so it's hard to control. And yes, it's always been an enemy of our Clan before. But why hate me so much? It's just driving me away. I know that the Stars say it's my fate... but I can't believe that fate is set in stone. Not anymore. Just watch. I'll prove them wrong. divider (the shadows are totally messed up btw) : summary + clan life + treetops territory + major characters: Summary. There's a belief that others can't make you who you are; whatever decision you make, that's your fault, and no one else's. There's another common expression as well: easy for you to say. . . . Redwillow Bark, a young she-cat born into the Clan of Treetops, enjoys life like any other cat, and maybe even more so. She has a pair of loving parents and one dear sister with whom she has a tight-knit relationship; and as her apprenticeship draws to a close, her good friend, Bluejay Feather, slowly grows into an opportunity for something more than just fellow Fliers. During an important assessment however, Redwillow suddenly manifests a power that could bring unstoppable destruction to the forest in careless paws – while many treelengths away in camp, the Forest Shaman, Beehive Honey, receives a prophecy from the Stars stating that the one who bears ashes in her claws will bring ruin to the Clan of Treetops. Before she fully realizes what this means, the entire Clan suddenly watches her with suspicious eyes at best, scathing hatred or babbling terror at worst. Her once-comfortable life collapses in on itself; her parents reject each other as mates, her sister is victimized for being the sibling of the Forest Destroyer, and Bluejay seems almost afraid to even come close to Redwillow. And as these world-shaking changes occur one after the other, she must still deal with the new power she possesses and the potential future it represents. Clan Life. The Clan has lived in the forest they call home for countless seasons. Much like the SkyClan we know of, they utilize the thick, old deciduous forest to their advantage by taking the high ground. This culture, having not encountered other Clan influences since its creation, has existed mostly unchanged and has therefore produced different customs and names in their average Clan life than what others may be familiar with. The Clan leader is known by the title of Touching-Sky along with their birth name, as a nod to the Clan's lifestyle and the tree canopy, the highest part of the forest. The medicine cat is known as the Forest Shaman. Instead of a single deputy, the Clan of Treetops has one cat, called a Root, to manage each part of Clan life – camp maintenance, mothers' needs, territory patrol/hunting, training, and battle – all of whom plus Touching-Sky and the Forest Shaman make up the Clan's Council. Each are trusted to be able to make decisions for their area of management without the consultation or interference of Touching-Sky, and each subordinate only exists so long as there is need for their station; for example, there is rarely a Root of Battle unless there are intruders or other hostile forces in their territory. Regular members make up the bulk of the Clan. There are the mothers, she-cats about to give birth or are taking care of kits; apprentices, cats between the age of seven and thirteen moons; and Fliers, the Clan's equivalent of warriors. The Clan also believes in the spirits of those who have passed on and call them as a whole the Stars. Unlike the Clans most well-known, however, contact with these spirits are much more commonplace; although the Stars do not just appear whenever someone wants, any cat might meet one, given one was willing and in an open state of mind. The Clan also believes in the existence of malevolent spirits but have never given them a collective name; what does linger are nursery tales describing such beings like the Queen of Crows, who bears a lust for war and death, and the Fire Master, a long-dead cat with the power to call up green-hot flame and burn bones to crisps. Other, more specific parts of their culture will be introduced in-story. Treetops Territory. map forthcoming Major Characters. Redwillow Bark :: apprentice as of ch.1 :: Main character. She turned her sight upward. She had gone out with an asking heart and open mind for exactly this purpose – to summon a walking dream. Harsh gales buffeted her fur with leaves and sticks, roaring its loud noise into her flattened ears, and she fought to stay upright. They didn't belong in such a thick forest valley, but dreams were dreams. "Why?" she shouted. "Why me?" The tree didn't reply; she was afraid that she might not hear it even if it did. "Answer me!" she demanded. "Or I swear I'll – I'll –" What could she say? "I'll walk away from this!" she found herself threatening. "I will!" "Oh, sweet child, of course you won't." The Ancestor's creaky voice came to her as if there weren't howling winds drowning out everything. A translucent image of an old she-cat materialized onto the lowest branch in wispy swirls. She gazed down on her kindly. "There is too much at stake for you," she said, "to leave the Clan defenseless. It has been prophesied." "Since I'm its natural enemy," the young she-cat stated bitterly. "That is simply an added bonus, dear." The Ancestor licked a paw and wiped it across her face. "When we first sent the prophecy, we didn't know what gift They would grant you, since it was before you were born." "I..." She stopped. "Wait, but you're an Ancestor. Why would others of the Stars not tell you what was going on?" "Who said it was other Ancestors that granted you this power?" The elder smiled sweetly at her – and refused to clarify. The she-cat looked away with a scoff, lashing her tail and narrowing her eyes. "You're just trying to distract me," she accused. "Let me ask my questions." "Of course, dear." The Ancestor settled down onto her branch, looking completely unperturbed at the current weather. "Nothing's been stopping you." She ignored her. "Why me? Why did the Stars – or whoever 'They' is – pick me?" "What makes you think, sweet child, that I know the answer?" "You are an Ancestor. Why would you not know?" "Remember, dear, that I was one of you not many seasons ago. All of the Stars were, once. Death did not spontaneously grant us omniscience or omnipotency." The young she-cat twitched her tail again, in irritated acceptance this time. "But you watch over us," she said. "You must have an idea, at least." "It would be ridiculously humble to deny it," the Ancestor agreed. She paused thoughtfully. "I suppose the others wouldn't get too worked up if I showed you." "If you showed me what?" "They haven't told you the past," the elder explained, "because the Clan wants to put the whole incident behind them. Fools. How will anyone be able to learn from history's mistakes if you hide them away? Especially if those mistakes are your own." "I don't understand." "Exactly, dear. And I'm willing to help you understand. Do you trust me?" The young she-cat paused. The winds abruptly stopped, silence descending upon the forest like a thick blanket. It made her tail fall low in uneasiness. Was this decision so important that the very air would fall quiet to hear her answer? "No, I don't trust you," she eventually replied. "But I want to see what you have to show me anyway." The Ancestor nodded, approval gleaming in her eyes. "Good answer from one so young. I will show you. Don't be frightened, dear," she added in warning. "The experience can be disorienting for some." "... Wait, where are you –" The two vanished from their place among the Sky-Tower Fir. Chapter One. Redwillow Bark blinked open her eyes. She yawned, stretching out her legs and tail. For a few moments, she simply rested in her nest and worked through the drowsiness. The faint sunlight shining through the roof felt warm and toasty against her fur, a contrast to the late leaf-fall air. She could hear several apprentices still dozing away around her, as well as the faint gurgling noise of the River nearby. Mhm... Wish I could stay in the den this morning, she thought slowly. But I have Clan duties. Bear claws. After another yawn and stretching, Redwillow got up from her rumpled nest and began cleaning it up. She took special care to pick out the needles left over from her pelt last night – she had snuck out for late-night training by the Sky-Tower Fir. She finally prodded the last of it down through the woven floor and began cleaning herself. As she swiped a paw down her flank, Redwillow glanced around the den.
A couple of her fellow apprentices were still sleeping, just like she had heard. Her sister, Evergreen Sap, wasn't one of them. She had apparently woken up before her, which wasn't surprising; it happened sometimes, and she was up late last night. Bluejay Feather was still sleeping however. Redwillow quickly finished smoothing down her fur and padded quietly up to the snoring figure. He wasn't loud, but the sound of his breathing covered up her soft pawsteps quite well. She poked him in the flank lightly. He didn't respond. "Bluejay," she whispered. He let out a snore. "Bluejay," she said in her normal voice. "Hrrruungg." "Bluejay." Redwillow's tail twitched and she jabbed him again, harder. He mumbled and swiped a paw at her own, batting it away. She lowered her muzzle to his ear, self-conscious of how close she was to him now, and took a deep breath for stalling purposes. "Bluejay!" she shouted. "I'm getting up, Mentor, getting up!" he yelped, rolling onto his belly. The other apprentices in the den grumbled at the noise. He blinked when he saw who it was. "Oh. You sound like your mother, Redwillow." "Thanks," she said wryly, stepping back to give him room. "Does this happen a lot?" "What, your mother waking me up? Only when I'm late." Bluejay licked a paw, ears forward and twitching. "Am I late?" Redwillow shook her head. "I just woke up too. Evergreen's out though." "Evergreen?" He swiped over unruly patches of fur. "Hmm, she's up early. You're usually awake before either of us." "Mhm, yeah. You finished?" "Yes." He stood and then paused. "You weren't out late again, were you?" "... No." Bluejay's tail twitched, but he let it go. "Okay. Let's go find your sister." The two walked out onto one of the two thick willow branches that the apprentices' den balanced atop; the Clan of Treetops wasn't called the way it was just because they climbed trees. As soon as a cat became apprentice age, they were taken up into the willow trees by the River, where the majority made camp. Redwillow hopped onto an adjacent branch, tail swaying slowly for balance; she barely needed to think about it anymore. The River passed by their tree only a few bear-lengths away, its quiet burbling soothing to her ears. Bluejay followed, though he took a bit more care. "Where do you think she is?" "Probably waiting for my father and the others to make their announcements." She hopped onto another branch, then padded down it away from the trunk. "Right. Hmm. Do you think we'll be doing our assessment today?" Redwillow paused thoughtfully. Now that she was near the end of the branch, it was dipping slightly under her weight. Bluejay remained a fair distance behind her to make sure it didn't completely give. "Maybe." Several of the other apprentices had already done their assessment yesterday; they usually had one major test every moon to judge how well they were learning, but the Clan was large enough that they couldn't have every apprentice doing it on the same day. It would run the risk of some cats' paths accidentally intersecting. The anticipation was why Redwillow had gone out last night in the first place. "How do you think you'll do?" she asked. Her friend shrugged. "Hard to say. I think I'll do okay though." Redwillow nodded and stiffened her haunches. "I'm about to jump." Bluejay took several steps back, closer to the trunk of the tree. No one wanted to be flung off a branch because of someone taking off. She leapt, feeling the springy wood underneath her paws give way, and unsheathed her claws to dig for purchase as a new tree abruptly gave her footing. Redwillow paused for a moment to be certain of her balance before sheathing her claws and getting closer to the new trunk. "Okay, Bluejay, you can go." A few seconds passed before she felt a slight bounce beneath her paws, and her tail lashed to compensate. She glanced back to see Bluejay steadying himself. "What about you?" he asked. "About what?" "The assessment. How do you think you'll do?" "Oh." Redwillow swiveled her ears. She could hear talking a tree or two over, above the muted and constant murmur of the River: the Central Alder. "I think I'll do fine." "You'll probably do better than fine, Redwillow," Bluejay commented as he padded closer. "You always do. Your mother's told me how Kingfisher brags sometimes." "Kingfisher's biased. He's a friend of the family." "Doesn't make him a liar. Besides, I've seen you before. I don't know how you can focus on both stalking a bird and keeping your tail completely still." Redwillow only flicked her tail as she hopped a branch towards the Alder. "I have to say, Red," Bluejay said, more quietly this time. Redwillow's ears twitched, and she glanced back with a frown. He didn't usually call her Red unless he wanted to catch her attention. "What?" "I think some of the other apprentices might be jealous of you." She let out a bark of a laugh, continuing on to the next branch. She heard Bluejay follow a branch behind. "Jealous? Why would they be?" "Because of how good you are." His voice was serious. "Stop being modest and really think about it. You know that you're pretty much the best out of us. And I've heard them talking, since I actually stay in the camp instead of going out into the forest to train when I'm not supposed to." Redwillow restrained a wince. Ouch. "Their mentors have used you to compare to them, called you a prodigy. Some of them think Touching-Sky will pick you to be trained by him." "Everyone's exaggerating my skill," she said with a lash of the tail, pausing on the branch. "All I do is practice. If they don't feel like doing the same, that's their problem." "You haven't heard them, Redwillow. They don't think that way. They tell each other that you're good because you've made a deal with the King of Grizzlies." Redwillow gave Bluejay a flat look. The King of Grizzlies was one of the monsters elders spoke of in their stories – a massive, ragged grizzly bear that ruled over his kind and could break four cats' necks with a single blow. However, no one had seen a grizzly in Treetops territory for many seasons; it was a less popular tale now. "Don't tell me you actually believe them." "I don't," he said honestly, "but whether the others do or not doesn't matter; they're vilifying you. They're trying to make you seem bad to them so when they trip you later on in life, they won't feel bad about it. You need to be careful, Redwillow." "I'll be fine," she said dismissively and turned back around. "Believe that, if you think my skill is that great." She felt the branch beneath her paws bounce as another weight landed on it right beside her; his leap was surprisingly quiet this time. "Red." She twitched her ears and looked at him. Bluejay made eye contact with her. His light blue eyes were filled with real concern. "Please listen to me for once. This isn't something to brush off." Redwillow glanced away and shivered for reasons completely unrelated to fear or cold. "Alright," she finally said. There was a touch of wryness to her words. "I'll watch out for any signs for sabotage." "Don't forget the rest of your senses." He touched her shoulder lightly with his nose. "And your brain. Don't be stupid." He stepped back and the moment was over. "Now, let's get to the Alder. Evergreen's probably wondering where we are." "Right." Redwillow began hopping branches, much more quickly this time. Bluejay attempted to keep pace, but he was still slower. "Stars, Redwillow, at this rate you won't need the other apprentices to kill you!" he called out after her jokingly. She laughed and bounced off a branch onto the Central Alder. Chapter Two. not available at this time. wip reviews + readers + fanart + credit: Reviews. 1. [ first review ] 2. [ second review ] 2. If you have any doubts, concerns, objection(!)s, etc., then talk to me. what i managed to have planned regarding this fanfiction (please for the love of god don't read this part) :(look to the original page for previous info) Character Info: Redwillow Bark: she's strong-willed and isn't afraid to show that. she is, however, used to a comfortable life & is hurt easily despite her confidence; she can quickly become spiteful as well. Redwillow is also ambitious and rather proud, though she recognizes and dislikes these traits, making a habit of acting modest and pretending that she doesn't think much about the future; in secret, she hopes to become as significant as -- or more than -- her father, craving the respect he and also her mother, a much-loved Flier and general advisor to all things, receive from other Clanmates. because of this, Redwillow also makes a point to be good at all things possible, training often and generally playing teacher's pet to her mentors; as a result of this and her own personality, she is very solitary, her fellow apprentices mostly disliking her (rather ironically; she doesn't realize that these apprentices with whom she harbors mutual feelings for are the ones whose respect she technically wants) except for Bluejay Feather, a childhood friend, and Evergreen Sap, her sister/littermate, neither of which she is truly close to (they act as best friends, but Redwillow hides her dislikable traits so much that she presents a more pleasant facsimile on instinct like a mask). secretly, the loneliness and inability to confide in anyone after putting up a different face for so long gnaws at her, but Redwillow hides from it by focusing on life and making herself happy through other means. she is not necessarily selfish, but she tends to put herself first and everything else on the back-burner. she has a crush on Bluejay Father, mostly because of his more down-to-earth, laid-back attitude and how he genuinely tries to be a good person -- better than her, in her eyes (though she doesn't realize most of this). he helps her think differently, a relief, and his attributes are what she subconsciously desires -- almost with jealousy because of how stressful her attitude makes her life. her father, Thrush's Flight, is the Root of Upkeep -- he manages the day-to-day things such as den repairs and general organization of the camp; as a result, he communicates heavily with the other Roots on clan needs and is generally regarded as one of the most important positions in the Council. he's very terse but harbors a deep ambition to be the best at his work (where Redwillow's belief comes from), and puts great import on the clan's opinion of him; after all, that's what keeps him working the same job. her mother, Laurel Sapling, is a very popular Flier and considered of senior position despite her rather young age, possessing a unusual wisdom and insight and bears no hesitation to speak her own mind. she's widely regarded in the clan as one of the best advisors (as she also keeps a secret), and surprisingly feels no ambition to occupy a greater position than senior Flier, believing that she has no need for one. the two were apprentices at nearly the same time, Thrush being about two moons older than Laurel. while they didn't fall in love immediately, they worked well together and quickly became one of the clan's most wanted pairings. the pressure from their clanmates eventually brought the two closer through convoluted plotting from the higher-ups, and they inevitably became mates. while their relationship is mostly founded on their advantageous partnership, the two genuinely care for each other, Laurel loving her mate's warmer side and Thrush enjoying Laurel's intellect. Bluejay Feather: Bluejay is a genuinely caring individual, someone whose greatest concern is for his clanmates, and terribly honest. he could be considered the archetypical loyalist -- no matter what, he values the group the most, therefore encouraging peace and harmony. he isn't squeamish when it comes to fighting however; in fact, he takes battle more seriously than most of his fellow apprentices. he recognizes the difference between fighting for your clan and fighting for yourself, and as a result, his biggest dislike could easily be said to be greed or actions in the name of self-interest, specifically those that benefit none but yourself. he's a bit of a philosopher then, with an interest in two-legs especially; many of his theories hit disturbingly close to the mark, but there is only so much you can guess with such a limited perspective. Bluejay, unlike Redwillow, doesn't think much about the future; his mind is much more often on the present, or on his own thoughts. as a result, he doesn't have much of an ambition beyond living through the day, cheering his friends up with the occasional humor, and learning from his mentor with a passion. he is much more well-liked among the other apprentices than Redwillow, though him being friends with her often makes them regard him strangely. he sees much more of who Redwillow really is than she realizes, and it makes him sad to know that she doesn't trust him and her sister as much as he wants. while he is genuinely interested in Redwillow, Bluejay also realizes that she is loath to change, and both her distrust of Bluejay to be a good friend and distance from him tells Bluejay that until she gets over herself, it just ain't gonna work out. but he waits in hope.
chapter by chapter: prologue: the protag of the sequel encounters an Ancestor by the Sky Fir; the following conversation foreshadows Redwillow's fate; the Ancestor takes the protag to the past ch.1: Redwillow wakes up late, having gone practicing at the Sky Fir; finds out Evergreen (her sister) is already gone and wakes up Bluejay; on the way to the Central Alder, she and Bluejay discuss the assessment & he asks her to hold back in testing (which she refuses to do); they then arrive at the Central Alder. ch.2: the two meet up with their mentors and Evergreen; mentors say that assessments will also be performed today, but it is up to Touching-Sky to say who; announcements commence, news is reported by each Root, and Touching-Sky announces the apprentices performing that day, including Bluejay (Evergreen has already performed, Redwillow will the last day, the next); Touching-Sky ends by announcing that the apprentice with the best assessment will be taken as his apprentice (a touching-sky in training). ch.3: Evergreen congratulates Bluejay on his chance after announcements are over; Redwillow joins in (but is secretly annoyed that she is not getting to perform yet, and not at the same time as Bluejay); when the apprentices leave for the assessment, Redwillow sees the mentors leaving for the observance and considers following them before deciding no (as watching an assessment before your own performance is forbidden); she works with her mentor and her father for the rest of the morning and gets back to find the apprentices finished and hearing many talk about an amazing performance. ch.4: Bluejay is being hailed as the current best; Redwillow goes to join Evergreen in congratulating him (again feeling jealous, and annoyed that he told her to hold back when he did this, and hiding it); Bluejay notices but pretends not to, playing the humble apprentice and then admitting that he's proud of himself for getting this far; their mentors come by and they eat before leaving for more training; skip to Redwillow in the apprentices' den at night, where she listens for anyone still awake before sneaking out for training; Bluejay follows, having pretended to be asleep. ch.5: Redwillow, knowing that Bluejay caught a lot of prey, practices stalking on the ground, catching/slapping a paw right next to multiple animals before letting them go unharmed; up in the trees, she eventually hears someone following her and pretends not to notice until they get close, tackling them to the ground; finding out it's Bluejay, she gets angry and accuses him of wanting to get her in trouble; offended, he retorts by accusing her of being out bc she's jealous of him; Redwillow is speechless, and Bluejay immediately says that although he didn't mean to say that, he won't apologize for it, and turns around and leaves; Redwillow catches up to him and tries to apologize, saying that she just really wants the apprenticeship and was annoyed that he told her to not try; Bluejay is only offended more, points out her implication, and says that if she wants to keep training, she can and he won't tell on her, but he doesn't want to talk anymore; Redwillow agrees but watches him walk away, realizing that he might've never been fooled and wondering how this will affect their friendship. ch.6: the next morning, Redwillow finds both Bluejay and Evergreen already gone; she heads to the Central Alder and sees them talking happily; she hesitates before avoiding them and coming across her father, mother, and the Forest Shaman talking (meant to be an introduction to characters and responsibilities); they are discussing getting her father to send out some patrols for herb gathering;

Yes, I know it’s hard at first, trust me. But to RP, you need to understand what the other person is trying to say. If you wanna talk, we need to understand you. If you're really having trouble, ask someone to mentor you in RPing. Rain would be happy to do so, and I'm sure other members would like to help, too. If you cannot learn to use proper grammar in two weeks, we will, unfortunately, have to ask you to leave. I'm sorry, but that is how a literate RP works. If you still don't get it by the end of two weeks but you really honestly and truly want to be a part of this RP, we will give you more time, but you must buy a grammar book or something to better help you.<br /><br /><strong><span style="color: #000000;">OUT OF CONTEN</span></strong></span><strong><span class="ev_code_red" style="color: #ff0000;">T</span></strong><span class="ev_code_yellow">I’m fine with random chatting, theories about a particular PokÉmon, discussing plots, talking about a new game or whatnot. The skyscraper itself, formerly a scientific testing center, had begun to return to the wild, some levels sporting growing grass and small trees after wind blew soil in as well as Ferroseeds. The inhabitants of Cosmos leave this place well alone, accepting that it has now returned to the control of Pokémon.</span></li> <li>| <span style="color: #ccffcc;">Pale Green</span>| Big Freeze Tundra| Ice-Types love this barren wasteland of ice and wind, obviously. On the worst days, terrible blizzards come from the ocean currents, chilling even the Pokémon adapted to live here to the bone. But most of the time the area is calm, and somewhat deserted. Most Pokémon live on the coastline, were numerous icebergs float stoically as Prinplup go fishing in the frigid waters. Each island can take a few days to navigate to find its own Elite, but there is free healing between the challenges. You’re on your own, however, once you leave the small coastal town that serves as a home for those who work for the League. The island to the south, very pointed, is Hydrogen Island, were the Water/Ground challenge awaits. Shaped like a Sharpeado’s fang is Carbon Island, which slid off Sulfur Island millions of years ago in a titanic eruption. The abandoned settlement that stretches across Helium Island is quite the maze, and the island in the cove sports a primitive lighthouse long forgotten. The island is coated in a fine layer of black soil and rock, with a half-dead swamp occupying the northern tip and the lake island. Dragon-Type Pokémon become super-powered when on this island, though they share it with numerous other Pokémon. But the biggest risk is the high population of Hydreigon and its evolutions…</span></li> <li>| White| Groudon’s Spine| This chain of high mountains is perfect habitat for many a Rock-Type, and its many caves house Ground-Types and, occasionally, a rare Dragon-Type. Twisting tunnels crafted by Onix lead to natural caverns, all interwoven in a maze of stone, and paths on the surface are dangerously located on the edges of each mount. Underground pools of water and lava provide homes for Pokémon that favor each extreme, and many Flying-types roost on the ragged peaks.</li> <li><span class="ev_code_yellow">| <span style="color: #99ccff;">Those</span> <span style="color: #00ccff;">little</span> <span style="color: #3366ff;">rivers</span> <span style="color: #0000ff;">and</span> <span style="color: #000080;">most</span> <span style="color: #008080;">water</span> <span style="color: #33cccc;">habitats</span>| Kyogre’s Tail| This huge river system is what keeps most of Leona’s Pokefauna going. Its own inhabitants vary from area to area, but the water is cool in clear all throughout Leona thanks to these rivers! The northern parts of the river tend to have cool currents with occasional rapids, the riverbed made up of large pebbles and gravel. Towards the south the water tends to become murkier, and if one could see through the water sand and gravel would be seen within. When near the coast, going by Cosmos, the river’s current calms immensely, widening and flowing smoothly until it mixes with salt water and plunges into the sea. In all calmer areas inland, mini-pools protected by large rocks of fallen trees, there tends to be aquatic vegetation growing and some might even find Water-type eggs hidden between rocks or under the sand! <em>Note that many small creeks and rivers are NOT seen on the map, extending further into Void Forest, and that there are also ponds in most locations, and even natural springs, so Kygore’s Tail is not the only source of fresh water!</em></span></li> <li>| <span style="color: #ffdab9;">Cream</span>| Palkia’s Reef| A Protected Zone. To explore this area and catch Pokémon with Zone Balls, a Trainer must put on a diving suit in which there is a breath timer and leave his or her Pokémon at the counter, bringing food and the Zone balls only. Pokémon become rarer as one gets farther into the reef. Clear and warm waters provide a world for the Pokémon that live here, but the reefs farther from the sandy shallows provide a home for them. This underwater world is a living work of art, delicate and breathtaking, and the Octillery guarding their caves know it.</li> <li><span class="ev_code_yellow">| <span style="color: #ff99cc;">Pink</span>| Dialga’s Plateaus| A Protected Zone. To explore this area and catch Pokémon with Zone Balls, a Trainer must put on climbing gear with a limit of uses and leave his or her Pokémon at the counter, bringing food and the Zone balls only. The Pokémon found are usually common near the bottom, but the ones at top can be extremely rare. Plateaus of steel, infused with gems amplifying Psychic power, are home to many intelligent Pokémon, who sometimes use Astro Town’s telescopes on their own. Unown rest on the cool walls, their eyes watching over the scientists who work at the top as well as any passing Trainers.</span></li> <li>| <span style="color: #800080;">Violet</span>| Giratina’s Graveyard| A Protected Zone. To explore this area and catch Pokémon with Zone Balls, a Trainer must have a flashlight with limited battery power and leave his or her Pokémon at the counter, bringing food and the Zone balls only. Pokémon in the graveyard itself tend to be more common than those found in the forest. The graveyard dates back to the first settlements in Leona, but most of the original tombs are actually in this thick, snowy pine forest, pine needles and frost coating long-forgotten tombs. The town’s numerous farmers also come here on weekends to sell or trade some Pokémon they breed, including ones that cannot be obtained in the wild! The inhabitants of the island were mostly water types the enjoyed the lush forests and marshes as well as all the water, but ground types were also fairly common as some of the island was barren or sparsely foliage. You learn all of this from the people on the boat.<br /><br />You enter the docks just after midnight. The cool crisp air cuts through the busy docks as fishermen and shopkeeper bustled about. You are directed to an inn by an old farmer, who was in town to sell some of his reapings, and his quiet Quagsire. You walk down the appropriate street and find an old small inn. The little clay building has a door made of solid oak. It swings in easily when you push it, and you step in to find a...quiet room with two or three people around. What did you expect Cosmos Square?<br /><br />You approach the innkeeper and she shows you to your room. You don't expect what you find. A bed faces a large touch screen monitor takes up most of one wall. A wire runs out from under the screen to a machine to the side of the room that you can exchange your Pokémon with. A message is posted on the machine. The post-it reads: 'Choose Wisely'. That's it? Choose wisely? Thanks, because you were planning on not doing that. You go to sleep, exhausted after a day at sea.<br /><br />You awake to a kettle singing. You quickly get dressed and grab your pokeballs. You come out of the room and get some breakfast, which is on the house, before leaving. You come out of the house and leave the bustling port city to dare the surrounding marshes.<br /><br />You meet some Marshtomp, who attack you, but you easily fend them off. You don't have 8 gym badges for nothing. As you continue on, you see the sun is beginning to crest the peak of the mountain. You figure it must be around ten o'clock, and continue on. Finally, you are out of the marshes and you come to a large field that goes on for miles in each direction, besides backwards of course. You will have to face angry Donphan, Sandslash, and Dugtrio to get to the other side but these should be easy to take out.<br /><br />Now you come to a problem, a large river separates you and the mountain's only opening. You aren't allowed to surf on a Pokémon or use a Pokémon in anyway to get across. You must swim across it, but there may be unknown dangers like Carvanha. You have two choices, (1) Jump in and worry about dangers later or (2) Use a nearby tree to make a bridge. You will have you will have a strong enough Pokémon to push it over without using a move.<br /><br />Either way you get across without mishap. You enter the cave and instantly the tunnel is steep. There is a point when you come to a sheer face of rock, but you must continue. Climb up using natural handholds like, tiny clefts of rock, a rock that slightly juts out, or even holes in the rock wall. When you get to the top there is a steep decline. You take it sideways as to avoid injury. Then you find out it’s a level path. You will follow this for a while till you actually come out on one side of the mountain. It is going into the late afternoon when you come out. You have come to a problem. You are possibly twenty-five feet up and you have come to a sheer drop to the river below, which would result in you having to start over after a long walk back to the beginning. Instead, you turn and find a narrow path. You must flatten yourself against the wall so you can keep your balance.<br /><br />You take off your backpack and hold it in one hand so the weight on your back doesn't make you fall. Finally, you come to another entrance. It is a small mineshaft. A ladder is built into the wall for ten feet then a metal platform then another ladder and so on. When you finally reach the top there is an elevator you get on to find there is only one button, down. You sigh thinking this test will go on forever and push the button. When you come out, you are in a huge cavern. It is mostly earth but a circle of water, about 20 feet in diameter, directly in the center of the caver. In the center of the circle of water is a floating platform. You jump in and swim to it. There is a message that says<br /><br />"If you are reading this, than it is either nighttime, dusk, or early in the morning. I hate battling at those times cause I can't see the clouds," You look up and see that the sky is dusk "anyway, I prefer to fight in the daylight. There is a tunnel that runs from this cavern, awesome right, back to the docks. Don't worry, you have already proven yourself worthy of fighting me... So, you won't have to do all that again. You may come back through the tunnel, so no sweat. However, if you tell any other challengers about the secret tunnel, I will be pretty ticked. Not even worthy of being called a small village. Its inhabitants consist of the nurse who flirts with every young man who walks in the door, but who is actually very caring, the handsome, full of himself, young man who runs the mart, and the retired fisherman and his twelve-year-old daughter who run the inn.<br /><br />After healing, stocking up, and spending a night in a warm bed, you go off into the very small meadow where small bird Pokémon like to play, plus a few playful dark types like Zoura who don't mind the sun as much as others. If you start to think this island will be easier to get through than the others, you're dead wrong. Next comes the steep hills of black rock and the large, tall, solid rock towers that stretch high into the sky and that serve as great nesting spots for the young flying types you met in the meadow. You can see a huge mountain in the distance. It's on the other side of the island and guess where you're going? Right to the top. In a roundabout way, though.<br /><br />When you finally get through the angry horde of flying types who were upset at you for walking into their territory, getting too close to nests, or simply bothering them some other way, you reach the foot of the huge mountain you saw. You see there is no way to get up without flying, hurting yourself, or really good climbing tools. All of which are forbidden. Well, the hurting yourself part isn't really forbidden, as it'd be your own fault. The only way forward is the cave. But you want to get to the top of the mountain! Not deep underground it. Something suddenly sparks your memory. The innkeeper's daughter had said something very strange to you. Something about going down to go up. It hadn't made much sense to you then, but now it's crystal clear. You muster up courage and plunge into the darkness of the cave.<br /><br />The cave is full of dark types and plenty of Zubat and their evos, even though they aren't dark types. After going downward at an easy slope, you groan as the path turns upward and becomes very steep very fast. Luckily, the trip up wasn't as long as the trip downward, so you soon reach a huge pit with high walls and the bright blue sky with blinding light compared to the dark of the cave. At your feet is a huge, level battle field. Jagged rocks jut out from the sides of the pit's walls and cast eerie shadows on the battle arena. You now realize that you are inside the mountain, and you're standing in a huge pit that opens up to the top of the mountain. You realize that this is it. The member of the Elite Four that you came to challenge is here somewhere, and this is the battle field.<br /><br />That is when you notice a Liepard, sleeping in the shade of a rock. You walk up to it and it awakens. It wears a collar, so you can tell it isn't like the wild Liepards that were watching over the playful Purrloins that were back in the meadow. This tamed Liepard gracefully got to its paws and stretched. It then looks up at you and leads you to a sign.<br /><br />This sign says, "<em>If you're reading this sign, it must be day and I must not be around. The rule is that I only accept challengers when the moon is visible from the depths of the pit. If you would like to go back to the docks and heal, buy some items, or sleep until the required time, you may take the tunnel to the left of this sign. It is well lit and will take you right back to the docks. The tunnel will end in the laundry room of the inn. You may also take the tunnel back here at the appointed time. I ask you do not tell any other challengers about the secret tunnel. Thank you. -Elite Four, Kuria Hae</em>"<br /><br />By the time you finish reading the sign, the Liepard is already back under the rock, sleeping away the hours. You sigh with frustration and decide to enter the tunnel to go back to the dock. The walk through the tunnel is boring, but easy. There aren't any Pokemon who want to challenge you to a battle, and it's well lit, and no tiring slope like the previous cave. You reach a wooden wall and push a button, causing the wood planks to slide into the floor and reveal the laundry room. There the innkeeper's daughter was washing some sheets. She sighs and states the secret door startles her every time under her breath, then politely welcomes you back.<br /><br />After an afternoon of sleep, the girl wakes you up about an hour before midnight. You get dressed and grab your Pokeballs and follow the girl to the laundry room, where she hits the secret button and lets you into the secret tunnel. The innkeeper's daughter wishes you good luck as the wooden planks slide back into place. Wouldn't have much luck fishing here, you figure. When you first set foot on this island, all you can focus on is the rickety dock below you, rotting and giving you the uneasy feeling it's gonna collapse and fall into the sea. Three barren, scarred looking, burnt paths branch out, an odd purple smog obstructing the view. Even if you don't have any allergies, you would be Koffing if you went much farther, and possibly Wheezing. (See what I did there guys! See what..I...did...) The only flora are dying weeds and trees charred black, leafless and bony. The sound of a motor fills the air as the ferry you arrived on backs out of the tiniest port you've ever seen and travels over the water as fast as it can go. The ferryman probably has a good reason for wanting to leave as soon as possible. Only a Trainer with Pokemon as strong as yours could have the bravery to come here and dare to meet the owner of this island, the Elite.<br /><br />An oddly clean and shining trail marker is placed on the middle path. Probably put there a few weeks ago. After all, you did hear this Elite Four member is new. The right path is blocked off. Chains and posts, that sort of basic stuff. Two alert Houndoom guard the gate, growling menacingly. With the experience you have, taking them out would be easy. Still, the path must be blocked off for good reason. You check for items-Revives, Max potions, full heals, that sort of stuff-before trodding down the path, which is gradually sloping down.<br /><br /> You begin to walk on the dusty, black path. Murkrow and Honchkrow are the few Pokemon that dare to nest in the barren trees. Stunky scamper in well organized packs, hissing balefully at you, and the Skuntank and Drapion attack anyone they see. You soon start coughing slightly because of the smog, and it does not help that the Koffing here just belch out even more. A few Venomoth and Dustox flutter above. They do not attack, but you burn through a few dozen antidotes because of the poisonous powder that lightly floats down. The whole time, you are going deeper and deeper.<br /><br />After at least 20 minutes straight of of walking, or possibly riding on a trusted Pokemon who doesn't mind being poisoned every so often, you come to a small rest stop. The rest stop is a little house with a helpful sign indicating it. With little to no decoration, there are a few beds leaned against the wall, a T.V is in the corner, and a young woman sits at a counter, letting you rest your (most likely poisoned) Pokemon. If you want anything extra, or have used up a few supplies, she can sell you herbs, powders, and homemade tarts that function the same as Lava Cookies. This place is quite cozy, but you have an Elite Four member to get to. Thanking her, you exit.<br /><br />After leaving the rest stop, you come to a small tunnel. A marker on the side reads: "You have reached the halfway point. I commend you on perseverance, at the very least. For a shortcut back to the dock, go here: (Where this is written, the sign points to one path in the tunnel, leading farther underground.) If you wish to continue, go this way: (The sign points straight into the tunnel here). Try to keep quiet if you go back to the dock. I do not want others getting a shortcut here. Good luck getting to the city."<br />-Reina<br /><br />You raise an eyebrow (If you can) at the last sentence. <em>City?</em> you think, <em>Who would want to live here?</em> Eh, maybe you can find out when you get there. For now, you just scoff at the sign and leave.<br /><br />You head down into the tunnel leading to the supposed "city". This tunnel is a lot less annoying than the path, having much less smog and a variety in pokemon, though many are still poison types, naturally. In here, there are Skorupi, Drilbur, Dugtrio, the rare Excadrill, and of course, hoards of the ever-popular Zubat. Still, when you finally see the light (Or in this case, the smog.), at the end of the tunnel you welcome it. With a fit of coughing as you look at the city. This place is a DUMP.<br /><br />A maze of rotting, charred buildings loom before you. Possibly the tallest were skyscrapers, but a few resemble other buildings. The smog here is unbearable, and you, unless you happened to bring a gas mask, are constantly coughing. It seems even a Shaymin could not make this air clean.<br /><br />The city is a complete maze. All of the charred buildings fall into the same pattern, and it becomes impossible to tell where you are. Haunter and Mismagius now join the hoards of poison types, and they simply adore tormenting you. You feel sick and weak, and your Pokemon are not doing much better. Just when you think you are about to faint, you see a Pokemon coming out of the smog. You give it a closer look. It appears to be a Rotom. A pink orb is balanced on the spike of it. It zips around you quickly, then heads off in a southwest direction. You stumble after it, hoping it will lead you somewhere. When you finally catch up, panting, the Rotom is gone. Where it went seems to be the building in front of you. Unlike the other buildings, this skyscraper seems to be partly restored. For another thing, this building is painted a garish purple. You walk in to find a small, pokemon-center/hotel style room. A few people are relaxing on the small couches. A young woman walks up to you and, after restoring your pokemon, leads you into the door going left, muttering about, "These poor trainers," and "Inept Elite Four members." She leads you to a bed. The pillows are soft and the sheets are freshly washed and you gratefully lie down on it. A small paper lies on the nightstand, and you pick it up and read it.<br />"If you are reading this, it means two things. The first: You have earned my congratulations by getting through the maze. The second: It is either Morning, afternoon, or night. I prefer to fight at dusk, as it adds to the atmosphere of my battles. Rest for now. It is cloaked in sugar maple forest. Within them it is not rare to find birch trees, bushes bearing fruits and Berries, gentle slopes formed by rounded mountains, lush springs and… Eeveelutions? They are everywhere, and it is obvious that Heather’s farmgirl past made it here in some form or another. Locals welcome you warmly, many of them accompanied by Eeveelutions of their own. A few Shinies are seen here and there, and some wild females nurse their young pups. Chances are that your Trainer is awed by the abundance of these usually rare Pokémon, and if they have an Eeveelution of their own it is learning from others of its kind. The respect the locals have for these Pokémon, despite their numbers, is very obvious from the dishes of fine meals left out for those without homes and multiple shops suiting all types that Eevee can evolve into.<br /><br />The buildings in the town are somewhat rustic (what you guys would describe as ‘Canadian’. XD) and very warm, as each inhabitant is. Your character can spend the night at an inn, or rent camping equipment to prepare for the road ahead. The nights tend to be pleasantly cool, and a brisk breeze ruffles the maples in the morning as the sun rises.<br /><br /> The path is worn and appears to be akin to a gently sloping hiking trail weaving through the open, generally sunny forest. A sign, the wood soft due to seasons of rain, bears a message from the Champion: ‘<em>Hello y’all! If you’re serious about battling me, I’d suggest getting a team with the most types possible; this island is no walk in the park and is just as different as every single Eeveelution! Feel free to catch the local Pokémon, but don’t take any of the Eeveelutions with tags on their ears please. The Breeding Project here involves those Pokémon, so don’t take Pokémon that might be the parents of your next best friend! Remember, diversity is the key! See you soon, challenger, and may your path be easy! ~Heather</em>’<br /><br />To sum up the general progression, a Trainer must be able to get through the maple forest first, and then caverns second. Seems simple, right? Nada!<br /><br />The local Eeveelutions are encouraged to hinder a challenger’s progress to test his or her problem solving ability. They wander all over the island, but generally Flareon, Leafeon, Espeon and Jolteon live in the forests while their Vaporeon, Glaceon and Umbreon siblings inhabit the wet underground tunnels and caves. For the record, they don’t go overboard trying to challenge the Trainer and will never do something too drastic that might cause harm to him/her or the Pokémon.<br /><br />The pranks vary from individual to individual, but for the most part each species has a few well-known tricks hidden in their fur:<br /><br />Vaporeons will flood the caverns underground or cause aggravating water droplets to drip from the ceilings, simply annoying the life out of the challenger, and soaking equipment and sleeping bags is usual for them.<br /><br />Jolteon can cause electromagnetic disturbances thanks to Magnet Rise to mix up compasses and render technology useless. Also lighting the way in the dark to lead the unfortunate human down the wrong path is also a trick in their book.<br /><br />Flareons are known to burn away at some bushes to create fake paths leading the wrong way. At night they are liable to burn supplies and overheat a camper due to their body heat, thus giving them a restless night.<br /><br />Espeon adore counter-acting any move the traveler makes, as well as playing with the weather to mix them up. Being able to use their psychic powers on a person can also cause problems, namely a state of confusion.<br /><br />Umbreons, like Jolteons, like to lead challengers with their rings of light, and adore spooking them in the middle of the night with sudden flashes and sounds. Moves like Double Team and Snarl can play a part in creepy night-time scenarios.<br /><br />Leafeon can probably mess up a day in more ways than one, their diverse movesets help make them the ideal sidekicks to the other Eeveelutions. It is rare that they prank on their own, but when they do it is in the form of elaborate traps, perhaps evolving a pit made by Dig, Grasswhistle and a puddle of mud or perhaps a simple yet effective Grass Knot.<br /><br />Glaceon, what do you expect them to do? Freezing water to cause a slip is an obvious one, but half-freezing someone is also a fun game to play. When many gather together, though, they are known to freeze a whole section of the forest or caves, making ice corridors to confuse their would-be-victims.<br /><br />How can your trainer appease these Eeveelutions, you must be wondering. Your character might notice that before he meets a member of a species with a problem he encounters no problems of the sort associated with that Pokémon. Here’s why.<br /><br />Each species sends a representative near were your Trainer is at some point during his or her travels over the island. A Vaporeon with an ‘injured paw’, an Espeon ‘searching’ for her pups, a pair of Glaceon ‘arguing’ over territory. If the Trainer can show kindness, respect and intelligence when handling the situation that the Eeveelutions have set forth, they will go without bothering the traveler and might even help him or her with the other pranks others who were less satisfied might have set up.<br /><br />This is to make sure that the challenger truly understands Pokémon and how to handle them in the first place before they reach Heather’s home.<br /><br />The underground caverns actually lead under the cove and breach the surface of the little island in the middle, were Heather and her own team live in a cheery cabin. The battlefield gives an advantage to almost every Pokémon imaginable, with a huge pool to one side that goes under the main plateau, resurfacing on the other side and in the open air, as well as having large rocks and boulders dotting the area.<br /><br />If Heather is home, she will invite for you to rest a day and prepare for the battle. If not, her housemaid will extend the invitation instead.<br /></span><br /><br /><br /><br /><strong>TO THE NORTH-</strong><br /><br /><span class="ev_code_yellow">Lies ????????</span><br /><br /><br /><strong>TO THE EAST-</strong><br /><br /><span class="ev_code_yellow">Lies ????????</span><br /><br /><br /><strong>TO THE SOUTH-</strong><br /><br /><span class="ev_code_yellow">Lies ????????</span><br /><br /><br /><strong>TO THE WEST-</strong><br /><br /><span class="ev_code_yellow">Lies ????????</span><br /><br /><br /><span class="ev_code_red"><strong>Just ask if you want to be a neighboring region! We require an RPing sample, along with the Joining Forms of TRAINERS AND ALL THEIR POKEMON(had to stress that). Oh, don't worry guys. It's just a quick battle to RP. Two random Pokémon battle. I don't mind the context or the Pokémon themselves, just use real characters and Pokémon they would use. I mean real characters from the games, okay? For all I care, it could be Cynthia and Iris with their signature Dragons squaring off, Ghetsis and Colress training their teams(for science!!) or even Cilan and Cress having a practice battle!<br />You may be wondering, why real characters, right? Well, if you just check on Bulbapedia or any other Pokémon site that lists the Gyms, you'll be able to find their teams AND the Pokémon they use. I want this to be accurate. I don't mind if you use their first/whatever-ith battle's team, just that the Pokémon are using moves that they would if challenged in-game.<br />The battle does not have to be long. We just require for each Pokémon to use two moves. Simple, right? You can add them missing, effects of the moves, a critical hit, Trainer's commands, anything! I'm just saying that the more detail, the better.<br /><br />So, to sum it up:<br />-2 Moves per Pokémon<br />-Must be real, well-known, in-game(the DS/GBA games) Trainers.(I mean ones with unique skins. MUST READ!</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><br /><strong><span class="ev_code_black">GIJINKAS</span></strong><br />-A Gijinka must be of your own design. Don’t look over the web to find a cool design and make your character morph to be exactly like that. The other rules will also prevent this.<br />-Each Gijinka can only have 6 Major Pokémon traits.</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>Major traits are things that can instantly be seen as being from Pokémon. Major traits include Pokémon ears, paws, tails, auras, wings, full-body fur, horns/crystals/very obvious things, moves and abilities.</li> <li>No more or less than 6 are accepted.</li> <li>Minor traits are unlimited, and include different hair color/style, Pokémon eyes, claws, skin markings, tufts of fur around the neck/chest/wrists or things that can otherwise be interpreted as dyes/birthmarks/some odd form of Capital-like style. (The reason selective fur is allowed is because it can look like faux-fur scarves/bracelets.)</li> <li>You cannot have a character who is basically a Pokémon walking upright with clothing. Muzzles and extra limbs other than wings and tails are not accepted. (Though each pair of wings/extra tail counts for another Major Trait.).</li> <li>One body part cannot have two traits. (Say, have creepy eyes and fangs would be two on the face, or claws and fur tufts two on the arms. Wings count as back, hair counts separately from head.)</li> <li>Oh, and one last thing: GIJINKAS MUST WEAR CLOTHING. No questions. No clothes-less Poke-humans running around, PLEASE.</li> </ul> <p><br />- A Gijinka can be part Pokémon or part type, but has to be limited to such. If, say, it is a Bisharp Gijinka, it may only have the traits, ability and/or moves of a Bisharp. If one is a Fire-type Gijinka, it would have the general traits of Fire-types. Not traits of individual Fire-type Pokémon.</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>Your Gijinka can only be part ONE POKÉMON OR TYPE. Period. (Say, no Bisharp-Zoroark and no Fire-Ghost Gijinkas.)</li> </ul> <p><br />-Gijinkas are once-made characters. You cannot kill one off and replace it with another. You cannot change your mind and make your Houndoom Gijinka an Infernape Gijinka instead. Period. No exceptions. Make sure all Gijinkas have a backstory of being kidnapped a month or two prior to today's date in the RP.</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>Since the Escape Event has now passed, there will be no more neutral Gijinkas allowed unless another Escape Event comes along or it's a prize for something.</li> <li>Gijinkas DO remember their past lives, unlike Fusions, but remember that they are now half-Pokemon. More detail as of that will come at the rule after the next one. Even if Gijinkas escape from Team Devastation and become neutral, they may NEVER go back to their past, easygoing lives. Ever.</li> </ul> <p><br />-All Gijinkas begin in their basic form. (Say you want a Pidgeot Gijinka. You'll have to start with a Pidgey Gijinka and have your character train long and hard to reach Pidgeotto, then train even harder for Pidgeot.)</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>Some Pokémon are forbidden to evolve due to how they do so. (Say, Evolving with a free party space/with something in the party is forbidden. Evolving by trading? Well, there is no equivalent for "trading" for humans besides switching loyalties. If your character escapes Team Devastation or rejoins it, that can be considered switching loyalties and thus trading, allowing evolution.)</li> <li>If a Pokémon can change forms, please ask Feather about it.</li> </ul> <p><br />-Gijinkas must be VERY WELL RPED. I cannot stress this enough. Put in details as to what the character is feeling, how the moves feel. Do NOT treat RPing them like RPing any normal Pokémon. They don't just use Iron Tail and get over it. They feel their tail becoming metallic, feel it become heavier, try to aim it, and so on. Same goes for their abilities, moves and new Pokémon instincts, senses, and tastes.</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>I am sorry, but if I see that a Gijinka is being cheaply RPed, it will be removed from you after five warnings. I hope this will never happen.</li> <li>Please please please research about the type/Pokémon your character is fused with!!!! Pokedex descriptions, how they act in the anime, anything from a real and credible source!</li> <li>For example, let’s take a Luxray Gijinka. Say it has Intimidate as its ability, it would feel confident seeing someone it has not seen before and make them submit in some way or another. From the 'dex, other than their X-Ray vision, we know that Luxray like to stalk prey and scout, so the character would feel a need to remain hidden and watch people. You may also interpret Luxray as being like a lion, but keep in mind it’s electric typing and make the Gijinka feel bursts of energy, have a quick pulse, maybe have some feline pride and love of being in charge in there. And voila! Quick sum of what you need to keep in mind.</li> </ul> <p><br />-Gijinkas are treated like both Pokémon and humans. They have access to Pokemon language and human intelligence, but are about 30 base stat total stronger than the Pokémon they are fused with. (In total spread out evenly in each stat.) On the downside, for a reason we can't explain, (just go with it, guys, we don't want these guys to be overkill) Gijinkas can only own 2 Pokémon in total. Remember that they are affected by status conditions like Pokémon such as Burn, Confusion, Attraction, Paralysis, etc.<br />-Your Gijinka is obviously going to battle at one point, but don't make it go around 1HKOing everyone and everything, dodging moves expertly, bounding to it’s feet, redirecting something with Psychic, etc.... You, the RPer, know what it’s traits are, but he/she does not. In a battle, the Pokémon instincts might take over, but the Gijinka is not yet a well-trained Pokémon. They do not know who they are anymore, everything is confusing. They might activate a Flash Fire by accident, use Scary Face on a friend, send a Heal Pulse at the foe out of a sudden moment of compassion. Point being this: They must start out with having no idea how to use moves, abilities, or work their new limbs. They are like toddlers and have no clue. After some training, then they will learn a little bit more and they will eventually, after a long time of training, be able to use moves and such without thinking too hard.<br /><br /><br /><br /><strong><span class="ev_code_black">FUSIONS</span></strong><br />-A Fusion must be of your own design. Don’t look over the web to find a cool design and make your new evil character look exactly like it.<br />-It must be composed of two to three (2/3) Pokémon. They must be in similar evolutionary phases(Druddigon/Sceptile/Sharpeado could work being that all are finals, as could Druddigon/Treecko/Carvanha as they are all first evolutions. However, Druddigon/Sceptile/Carvanha would not be accepted.)</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>Said Pokémon can’t be Legendaries. Thus, no Mew, Suicune, Reshiram, Genesect, Cresselia, etc. Legend Fusions are ONLY for 1000 page prizes and are composed of two Legends who are not counterparts (Reshiram/Zekrom would be no, for example), so don't even think of asking.</li> <li>No more than 3 Pokémon can compose a Fusion.</li> <li>They cannot be of the same evolutionary line (Espeon/Umbreon, Gardevoir/Gallade) either.</li> <li>A Pokémon cannot be part of over 3 Fusions (list is bellow this). Say, if Charizard/Hydreigon, Charizard/Garchomp and Charizard/Sceptile exist, no other Fusion containing Charizard can be made. Each branched evolution counts separately (Gallade has 3 uses, Gardevoir has 3... This also opens up all the Eeveelutions.)</li> </ul> <p><br />-The Fusion’s type is any combination of those offered by the Pokémon it is composed of, even being able to be a single type (Dragon/Ground+Rock/Flying= Dragon, Flying/Dragon, Rock/Flying, etc.). It can use any of the moves learned by the species in a similar manner, and one Ability must be chosen from those available (Dream World ones included).</p> <ul type="SQUARE"> <li>No, you can't get more than one Ability or three types. No inventing an Ability for the Fusion either, and you MUST use Abilities/Moves/Types that are available through the Pokémon the Fusion is made of. Want to be part-Steel but the Fusion is Dragonite/Kingdra/Golem? Too bad.</li> </ul> <p><br />-A Fusion cannot remember its past life, due to being a completely new individual (unlike a Gijinka, who is a human infused with Pokémon DNA. These guys are eggs made from scratch).<br /><br /><br /><span class="ev_code_black"><strong>LIST OF POKÉMON USED IN FUSIONS AND GIJINKAS:</strong></span><br />If a Pokemon has a (2) beside its name, that means you can only use the Pokemon in a Fusion once more. Aerodactyl prefer Groudon’s Spine, but could be found in Relic Pools, and Pokémon like Rattata could be found in most areas, for example. Please research and use logic when deciding where to RP your Pokémon or have a character catch it. Rapidash/horses are not mountain Pokémon, and Octillery/octopuses do not swim in rivers.<br /> Only the final form is noted, but all lower Evolutions can be found by default. If one wishes to obtain the evolved form of a Pokémon, he or she must evolve it.<br /><br />For Pokémon that are noted to be bought/traded, ALL can be obtained in Vital Town when farmers are selling some of their Pokémon. They also breed Starters for Professor Conifer to give out to new Trainers. <br /></em><br /><br />___________________________________<br /><br /><strong>Pokémon that must be bought/traded to be
