Four Clan RP (Vale, Gale, Cinder, and Tide) Planning Page

So this is where I am going to keep the planning process for the four clans I will eventually bring to life. The four clans are all named after one of the four base elements; Fire, Air, Earth, Water. I will also need help to polish the clan history and find three others who would want to be clan leaders for the clans with me.

History:


”There was a time, many seasons ago, when the stars walked in the dreams of cats. These stars passed on one message: There awaits a place where your destinies are all held together by a single root, where life flows freely. Baffled, the cats spent many sunrises arguing over the cryptic meaning of this message. Many were scared, understandably so, and many angered that the stars would not speak any more. One thing was clear, though: there was new territory waiting for those brave enough to leave their homes.



“And some were. Some cats had faith in the stars and decided to leave all they had ever known behind. Perhaps held together by a single cause - a root - these cats ventured into the unknown. For many moons they travelled, encountering all sorts of new and strange things.” The elderly tom shifted into a more comfortable position, the kits in front of him leaning forward as if his old joints were telling the story.



“But a journey is not without consequence. Many cats lost their lives in travel, yet they did not give up. Deaths weighed heavily on every cat’s mind. Was this their destiny? Still, they did not give up. It paid off in the end, otherwise you and I would not be here. In plain sight, a Great Tree stood proudly, the morning dew on its leaves glittering like stars in a night sky. Many cats thought of it as a sign, that the stars had been quietly watching them. It was decided that the group would settle at the Tree. Cats settled into natural roles - some found hunting for their companions easier, and some preferred to scout out the land.



“Alas, nothing can ever end without blood being shed. The stars spoke once more. They descended from the sky, cats made of glittering stars, to tell the settlers that they were to decide on four cats to lead them. This did not bode well with the settlers, as fighting immediately broke out. Each cat thought he was more qualified than the last to lead. More blood was spilled than on the journey to the Great Tree, and fighting turned to war. Cats chose sides, allying themselves with those they thought should be ‘the’ leader. At last, four very clever cats stepped forward; Vale, Cinder, Tide, and Gale. These four cats managed to put an end to the fighting, with the approval of the stars. Together they laid down the foundations of what we know today, The Code we live by.



“Perhaps, if not for these four cats, we would all still be fighting...” The tom sighed wistfully and looked away absently, horrible scarring on his face a reminder of how dangerous clan life was, without the all out war of the Founding.





I would like for this to be PG13 as I do expect romance and battles to break out.

Tideclan lives in the north where they are on a small island connected by a land bridge of soft sand and short grass. Their territory consists of the island the camp is on, beach on the main land, and some flat plains for hunting purposes. They border Cinderclan to the west and Galeclan to the east.

Cinderclan lives in the west on a dormant volcano. They have some mountains and a small strip of forest that drops off into the ocean of Tideclan's territory. They border Tideclan to the north and Valeclan to the south.

Valeclan lives in the mountains. Like Cinderclan, they too have a small strip of forest to hunt in before it becomes the open plains of Galeclan. They border Cinderclan to the west and Galeclan to the east.

Galeclan lives on the open plains in a small valley between two small hills to give them shelter to the winds that blow over their territory. They border Valeclan to the south and Tideclan to the north.

The Great Tree is located in the neutral ground in the center of all the clans where they hold gatherings every full moon. There is a small stream around the base of the tree.

The Moonstone is located between Valeclan and Cinderclan's territory through a small mountain pass. Medicine cats go here to speak to Starclan every halfmoon, and leaders go here to receive their nine lives.

Forum rules will apply as well as the Warrior Code, rules, and ceremonies. Prophecies will be added eventually when the clans are open. No battles just yet, but we can plan clan rivalries in advance. Season will also be worked out in time.
