Rockpath was seconds away from turning around and marching right out of camp. She wouldn't fight her brother any longer. She couldn't do this. He wouldn't ever understand and she wasn't going to try to mash it through his thick skull. But, she couldn't back away. Despite every bone in her body telling her to walk away and cool down. "Well, you aren't going to get more warriors by sitting and willing for them to show up? How about you actually try to train these kittypets and fix something around here." She challenged.

Lionwood could feel the argument in every bone in his body, in every vein. He hated it but he needed someone to yell at, someone to vent his frustrations to. Unfortunately for Rockpath, she was his littermate, and Lionwood justified arguing with her with that. They were littermates, they were supposed to argue.
"Well, maybe if you found a tom to have kits with-" The words tasted bitter in Lionwood's mouth as soon as he said them, like he'd eaten a strange herb from the medicine den. Lionwood closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He wanted to apologize, but his mouth would not let him. "You think they would listen to me?" Lionwood snarled, wrinkling his nose and baring his teeth. "Maybe I will try to understand Ravensnout, Rockpath, if you look at Russetlight's side. Without any feelings.

Rockpath shrunk away from her brother and stared at him with wide eyes. She couldn't believe what he had suggested. Is this how he truly felt about her? Just a she-cat, not a warrior. All of the fight left her body a second later. "Fine." She said, defeated. She was suddenly very tired and very frustrated. They weren't going to come to terms with these things. Her brother, and if she had to admit, she, was too bullheaded to come to an agreement. But she wasn't blinded by feelings. She could see Ravensnout was a great cat trying to make the clan healthy and full again. They needed more paws. She just wanted to have a full clan again. "Fine" She repeated as if this would steady herself.
She sat back down and used to paws to drag the rest of the squirrel to her. She started to eat again; this time keeping her eyes firmly on the prey and off of the cat next to her.
(Urgh I dunno how to continue them talking sorry for the poor post. )

(Yeah I'm also trying to figure out how to continue their convo. also Phoenixstar hope you don't mind me throwing lionwood at you) Lionwood saw his sister's shoulders fall, and she repeated the same derelict word. Lionwood should've felt happy, it seemed as if he'd won the argument. But he felt no happiness, no satisfaction. Only an empty feeling deep within his stomach, although it wasn't hunger. Lionwood didn't fail to notice his sister pointedly avoid eye contact. The tabby tom squared his shoulders and approached the group forming. He needed to get some energy out, and maybe he could show Rockpath that he had been willing to give Ravensnout a chance. He forced himself to address the she-cat instead of Russetlight. "Are you going out hunting?" The words were gruff, and felt fake in Lionwood's mouth. But he needed something to release his pent up frustration.

I'll make a short little post so we can continue. ^^ I don't want Wild to feel pressured. ) Nightblossom - Wildclan and Phoenixstar Nightblossom blinked when Ravensnout appeared. All three of them in one place. Interesting. The senior warrior eyed the she-cat for a second before nodded. There didn't seem to be any ulterior motives to her words. They were ones of an ordinary warrior's. As silence fell on the group, Nightblossom could feel her paws itching to leave. Of course, she was hesitant to speak about a patrol. If she formed the patrols, she might be forced to go on one, which was something she was not in the mood for. Thankfully, a small argument was enough to break the silence and give Nightblossom some time to think. Her ears and eyes flicked towards the arguing in camp. It took a while to settle down and gave Nightblossom an idea. "What dedicated warriors we have." She purred before looking back at the younger cats. Her purr vanished. "Ravensnout, you should lead a hunting patrol. Russetlight, you can take the border. You two should gather up some cats and leave before more fighting breaks out." She suggested before settling down. "I'll make sure some warriors are on a look out and some apprentices are cleaning the nests. It would be good to keep everyone nice and busy for a moon while everything settles." She flicked her tail in dismissal. "StarClan light your path." (fudge. didn't see your response. Can we say Nightblossom spoke before Lionwood?)

//pft its okay Monkorpio!! its kinda fun reading about what other characters think!// Ravensnout dipped her head in greeting to the large tom. She answered Nightblossom first. "Lovely, Shame we are so stretched out like this, but yes the clan is truly lucky to have such dedicated warriors." She then turned to the Lionwood. "Lionwood, yes, I was just about to gather a hunting patrol, would you like to join us?" She asked, in a light tone. "I couldn't help but hear noise of argument, I hope things are okay with your sister." She added, gazing pass the tom at his tense littermate. She had a good idea what it could be about. The clan would get tense with the lack of leadership, it dismayed her when it happened to cats who seemed so close. She could tell that she wasn't Lionwood's first choice, but he was a fine warrior, and she respected him. Even if his views would weaken the clan. "Russetlight is leading a border patrol as well." She said nodding towards the ginger tom.

Rockpath --- walking to Wildclan 's Russetlight Rockpath watched her brother carefully. When she saw her brother pad up to Ravensnout, she tensed. When he spoke, she blinked. She didn't think he was actually going to do what he suggested. She supposed she should have seen it coming. Lionwood was stubborn and no doubt believed he won't move an inch on his issues. He was probably just trying to annoy her. Still, she felt a burst of gratitude, but then dread swept over the she-cat. She was going to have to fulfill her part of the bargain now. Her eyes drifted to Russetlight She would have never chosen to follow the other warrior, even just on a patrol, in a million moons, but now...she had to. She couldn't ignore the steps her brother made. The she-cat finished the squirrel in a couple of large bites, swallowed those barely-chewed bites, and stood up. With one last glance at Lionwood and Ravensnout, she marched right over to Russetlight. "I haven't been on a border patrol today. Mind if I tag along?" She asked with a dip of her head. She would remain her usual civil self even if it killed her. she had pride as a warrior too.

Lionwood didn't miss Rockpath stand up and walk to Russetlight. He wanted to join her, but he couldn't back down now. If he was to show Rockpath he wasn't biased, he needed to follow Ravensnout, just for this one patrol. The tabby tom forcefully stopped his tail from lashing as he made eye contact with Ravensnout. "Things are fine, you know how things are," Lionwood replied, lying through the skin of his teeth. "I understand Russstlight is leading a patrol, but I believe hunting it most important for the clan right now." And don't start thinking this means I follow you, Lionwood thought, swallowing the words along with his pride.

Ravensnout beamed with happiness, answering in a cheery tone. "Wonderful! Now how could we protect our clan when there's hungry mouths to feed?" She continued;"We just need one more cat then..." She mused thoughtfully before pointing her attention to Nightblossom, "Will you be joining us Nightblossom?" She ask, a curious look sweeping over her eyes. It was true that the dark she-cat prefered to do things in-camp, but that doesn't mean she couldn't go out on a patrol now and again.

(Hi, could I join? Could I also take the spot of medicine cat? The first character is the character I would like to be the medicine cat. Fawnpath is a lithe siamese with a cheery personality at around 48 moons. She grew up looking up to the medicine cat and craved to help others out at any chance she could. Among the three potential leaders, Fawnpath would like to stay neutral and not stir up any trouble and will help anyone that needs help. She has spent her whole life in the clan and follows the warrior code, but will stretch the warrior code if it is needed to assist another cat. Once when out searching for herbs she found a kitten, barely weaned, crying in the forest. She brought the kit back to the camp and claimed it as her own. This caused an uproar in the camp, as this was against the warrior code. She is often sneered at for this misconduct, but she responds to every leer with kindness and a smile. The only time her smile falters is if someone is aggressive towards the cat she took in. Although she is weaker than most, she would do anything for her adopted kit. My other character is the kit that Fawnpath took in, now a grown cat. Cedarfang is a large Maine Coon with a thick brown pelt and a lighter brown tail and mane-like fur around his neck around 35 moons. His eyes are a rich honey color. Stripes run along his pelt that helps his large body stay relatively hidden. He is a kind cat and tries to see the best in cats. He believes in second chances and, like his adopted mother, Fawnpath, will try to help other cats, although was never skilled in the ways of being a medicine cat. He is quite a bumble and his hunting method is usually chasing his prey rather than ambush, as he easily gives away his positions, either by his sheer size or by accidentally doing something (e.g. breaking a stick, falling, etc). He usually uses his brute force in his fighting as well, but can occasionally think of a good plan. Despite being a bumble in the physical department, he is very charismatic but usually tries to use this to make others feel good then use it to his own advantage. He has spent most of his life in the clan, but the first few weeks is unknown, as he was found in the forest by Fawnpath. To all other cats in the clan then Fawnpath, including him, he was born by Fawnpath herself. Other than that, he lived a semi-normal childhood, not being accused as he "could not be blamed for his mother's wrongs". He is very close to his mother and would protect her with his life. He supports cat 1 as she is kind and follows many of his beliefs. Fawnpath Cedarfang

Fawnpath--48 moons Alliance: Neutral Description: Fawnpath is a long, elegant, cream siamese with crystal blue almond eyes and spots of black. She is lithe and slender and much smaller than most cats. Her fur is clean of scars, as she is a medicine cat, and mats, as she takes care of herself. Personality: Fawnpath has a very cheery personality, responding to everything with a smile. She tends to stay neutral in all affairs, trying not to stir up trouble and helping everyone. She is often sneered at for having a kit as a medicine cat, but she responds to everything with a smile, only faltering if her son is threatened to which she would, although not very strong, she would protect him at all costs. She is a follower of the warrior code but will stretch it if another cat needs help. History: Fawnpath grew up looking up to the medicine cat and craved to help others out at any chance she could. Family and relationships: Her adopted son is Cedarfang. Relationships and sibling mates are open. Other: She is bisexual.
Cedarfang--35 moons Alliance: Cat 1 (Ravensnout--PhoenixStar) Description: Cedarfang is a large Maine Coon with a thick brown pelt and a lighter brown tail and mane-like fur around his neck around 35 moons. His eyes are a rich honey color. Stripes run along his pelt that helps his large body stay relatively hidden. Personality: He believes in second chances and, like his adopted mother, Fawnpath, will try to help other cats, although was never skilled in the ways of being a medicine cat. Despite being a bumble in the physical department, he is very charismatic but usually tries to use this to make others feel good then use it to his own advantage. He would protect his mother, Fawnpath, at any costs. He would also protect his friends and is very loyal. History: To all other cats in the clan then Fawnpath, including him, he was born by Fawnpath herself. Other than that, he lived a semi-normal childhood, not being accused as he "could not be blamed for his mother's wrongs". He grew up around the same time as Ravensnout, Lionwood, and Rockpath, and would try to be closest to them, if they allowed it. Family and relationships: His adopted mother is Fawnpath. His parents are unknown. Other: This boy is gay as all heck.

I'll update the front page soon then. ^^ ) Nightblossom -- flees to kingaki 's Fawnpath's den Nightblossom stopped in the middle of grooming when Ravensnout mentioned her. She had to stop herself from wrinkling her muzzle at the idea of hunting. She didn't mind the task, okay maybe she did, but she would much rather stay here. The old warrior should have retired before the previous leader had passed. Her life would have been much easier than this. "No, I don't think I will be joining you." Her sharp eyes scanned camp. The senior warrior knew a think or two about picking out the cats resting after a patrol and the cats resting because they want to. After all, the latter was her preferred way to spend time. She picked up on a small, white puffball at the other end of camp and grinned. "Rampaw!" She called, not really raising her voice and keep her tone sweet. The apprentice bounded over almost instantly. Nightblossom didn't give him a chance to speak. She flicked her tail towards the two warriors. "A hunting patrol. You should go on it. Your training shouldn't be neglected just because we are in a rough patch." She brushed the apprentice towards the two before standing up and walking away towards the medicine cat den. Maybe the dear Fawnpath would have something easy to do. Rampaw -- Phoenixstar and Monkorpio The white apprentice sped to the senior warrior as fast as he could. He was hoping to hear one of her stories again. A patrol was not what he was expecting. A hunting patrol was even worse in his mind. He preferred the border patrols since he could just walk around and there wasn't that much fighting. He could relax. Well, he would find a way to lighten up this patrol too. The tom nodded. "Where are we going?" He spoke, looking between the two warriors. He wasn't sure which one was in charge. He hoped it wasn't Lionwood. He was too grumpy to spend a long time with. Maybe this being a hunting patrol will be a gift since they will split and do their own thing. He felt his spirit rise. (Sorry for the wait. the post isn't good but it'll get us moving. )

Lionwood - zero and PhoenixstarOh StarClan, Lionwood thought, beholding the little apprentice who Nightblossom sent in her place. If there was one thing he and Rockpath could agree on, it was that Nightblossom would not make a good leader. As far as Lionwood knew, she had done absolutely nothing to even try to improve the clan. Lionwood didn't agree with Ravensnout's ways, at least it was doing something. In regards to the apprentice at hand, however, Lionwood was unimpressed. The little thing looked like someone had pulled a cloud from the sky, rolled it up until it was barely cat-shaped, and tossed it at its feet. If he really wanted to, Lionwood could probably swallow the apprentice whole. "Ravensnout?" Lionwood asked, having the same question as the apprentice. Riotpaw - WildclanRiotpaw sat up, blinking slowly. He yawned, stretching his body out to its full length. His eyes began to close, and he nearly fell back asleep until he saw how high the sun was. Immediately, the apprentice leaped to his feet. How long was I sleeping? Riotpaw thought, scrambling outside. He was still recovering from the sickness, in parts, and he often found himself oversleeping. Skyeheart never got too mad at him, which was good. On the topic of his mentor, Riotpaw saw her sitting some distance away. Riotpaw scrambled towards her, and the ginger tom ran across the camp like a flash. Even after the sickness, he was grossly energetic. Riotpaw bumped his head against Skyeheart's flank, looking up at her with wide amber eyes, trying to convey his apology without words.

Okay, the front page should be up to-date. I couldn't really see any cats which could be grouped to be family and I'm still not sure who should be ram's mentor (I'm thinking about his mentor having passed away during the sickness so he technically doesn't have one but idk). Point is, page updated but bug me if you see something wrong or want something added. I'm still working on those history links.
Edit; I forgot. I'm thinking during these patrols, it would be interesting if something could happen related to the leaders. On the Raven patrol, they could find a loner or venture into the twoleg place. On the Russet patrol, maybe he could try to expand the border to include an area with some prey and find a fox or something? Feel free to add. )

Fawnpath's head raised from organizing herbs as Nightblossom approached her. "Ah, Nightblossom. What can I help you with?" She noticed the patrol's being set up in the background and then glanced back down at the herbs she had been organizing. They were getting dangerously low on most herbs, and if a cat caught a bad bought of greencough she wouldn't have enough catmint to heal them. If any more cats died they didn't have any mint or rosemary to cover their death-scent. So much death, so much sickness. Starclan help us.

The black she-cat drifted to the edge of the den and settled without a word. The herb scent wafting around the den had her relaxing a fraction. Maybe if she hadn't been pushed into being a warrior, she would have taken this role. She thought it suited her more. Her golden eyes drifted tot he current medicine cat and she put aside her musings. "I came to see if you needed to go out to get more herbs." She said while looking at the herb storage. The dwindling supplies had her very glad about newleaf. Her eyes moved back to Fawnpath and remained. "I also came to see if there was any word from StarClan." She said as she searched the she-cat's face.
