a giant hivemind of sorts.
So by going to starclan, the cats have to give up a bit of themselves... and as a result those who would rather keep their mind their own end up in the dark forest along with those deemed unworthy.
Adds in a bit more moral grey zones where the dark forest isnt all bad. Perhaps the war they waged could have been seen as 'saving' the clans from the hivemind that is starclan.
Just a thought

I have no idea what that is sorry ;w; Looked it up, its an rpg, is the story similar? It's one RPG from Atlus, you probably know one of its spin offs, the Persona series. In the main series usually have a battle between hell and heaven or some variation of that for the destiny of the world and the player can decide with path they can take, the "good" endings is usually an utopia where humanity have to follow the law of a superior being, the "bad" is to humanity follow their primitive instincts and live in a world of survival of the fittest or like the NPC's of this way says, the absolute freedom. Have neutral endings too.

Meh. I don’t care for “this canon thing is actually the literal devil” without more reasoning attached. I like the idea of more gray Dark Forest and Starclan cats, but making Starclan Cthulhu doesn’t scream good idea to me.
