No way. He tried to kill Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze, could have killed Squirrelflight and helped Hawkfrost murder Firestar. He should have been sent straight to the Dark Forest.

Belong based on his actions in life, no. Otherwise, I’m alright with him being in StarClan.

I mean relative to other StarClan cats... sure he doesn’t necessarily stand out. Raggedstar killed his father just out of hatred (he was a rogue, sure but it’s not like non-clan cats are at the level of wild game, allowed to be killed like prey with no repercussions), Hailstar nearly drowned WindClan’s deputy, Russetfur took one of Firestar’s lives and Mudclaw tried to overthrow his leader. Doubt many of them regretted their actions either.

I don’t care, tbh. He can be there, he hasn’t done a single thing to be put back in any spotlight so he’s just there in Starclan and I’m perfectly fine with that.

No way! Just imagine what would happen when Squirrelflight dies. I'm already worried for Juniperkit and Dandelionkit. Hopefully Ashfur leaves them alone.

Doubt many of them regretted their actions either. At least all those murders you listed were in the life/death situation of battle and the victims were already guilty of attacking. Ashfur has 3 more victims then Raggedstar, Hailstar etc. and they were his actual clanmates. Not only that, but it was pure premeditated cold-blooded murder, not just going too far in battle.

Plus they did (imo) have a good reason to attack/murder that cat and most of them were in battle that time. Unlike Ashfur "You don't love me so now I'm going to murder your father, your kits and frame your husband just because you didn't want to have kits with me!"

That’s fair, though even then, he’s not exactly dark forest material either since most of those cats actively want to destroy the clans. Comparing the two afterlifes, StarClan is definitely the more diverse place in terms of motivations and so at least in my opinion, Ashfur would stand out more in the dark forest. Not that I really care though for all I care they can go wherever they want.

No, he doesn't. He almost killed cats just because he got rejected.
