"My mother was a Lady who fell in love with a thief." Vera explained a smile forming as she told the story. "Eventually, he gave up being a thief and became a knight. He taught me how to fight and how to pickpocket."
Harper settles down on her haunches and listens to the sounds around her. She heard some rustling but didn't know who or what was making it.
"I have thought it actually." Luna said with a nod of her head. "I was actually thinking about bringing up kids with you. Make no mistake, I love Dante and Rye but pretty sure they won't want to rule." She wanted a heir but to also have another baby to care and raise.

Jay smiled a lot at her words and he shuffled a bit to be closer to her and he licked her neck repeatedly. “I see... well if that’s the way you feel and you truly truly want another baby...” he came a little closer to her and maneuvered a bit. “Would you like to start that process now?”

Redcap slowly got closer to what caused the humans to run, and what he saw shocked him. He had never seen a Griffin, but he had heard of them while in his horde. Having seen the large creature Redcap decided he needed to get to before he was discovered, but as he took a step back he accidentally stepped and snapped a small pill of twigs.

Luna lets out a chuckle at his enthusiasm. "I would love to." She said her voice getting a little low. She presses herself against him more and lets out a little whine.
Vera shakes her head. "Most nobles can live at the castle. Granted, you need to have a good connection with the king or queen. My mother did just that and my father being a knight helped as well. I do own my own piece of land over by the ocean but there is to much excitement and drama here."
Harper whipped her head to the noise. She grunted wondering if the humans or perhaps another creature was suddenly near. "Who's there?" She called out spreading out her wings.

Jay grinned as his mate shuffled closer to him and he did the same, cuddling up to her and growling. “Then we will start our shared bloodline together...” he murmured as he came up to her, lightly closing his jaws around her neck. *skip*

Redcap froze in place when he heard the Griffin call out at him. As he stood there he thought about what he should do next, should he revel himself and risk being torn to shreds or try running away and being hunted down. After thinking about it Redcap walked out of his hiding place so he could be seen by Harper.

Tiriaq flushed from embarrassment,not very good at accepting compliments.Even if it was just for his mask,and none of his physical features,it still affected him."Er...thank you.."He repeated her gesture and bowed his head in thanks,remembering to raise it once more before addressing her."Right...I was just..curious.Yeah,curious...the horns,I mean..."He paused,wondering if he was just being an idiot again and being rude in mentioning such a thing.What if she didn't like the horns?But why would she adorn them if she didn't?It was hard for Tiriaq to read people,he just ended up embarrassing himself."Are you a shifter?"There,he said it,way to be brave for once. "I'd like to see a human wear my horn,they'd look rather foolish,don't you think?"Samfuin snorted in disbelief.As if they could kill him,they wouldn't get the chance.Maybe he would wind up in the human city,just to spite this strange creature.Who were they to tell him what to do?"I won't let them have the chance."Samfuin finally stated,giving voice to his thoughts,swishing his tail in anticipation at the thought of danger.He normally was rather cautious,but his curiosity was getting the better of him as Flora talked more about humans."Where is this human city I've heard of? Their capitol,wasn't it?"Despite wanting to prove a point that didn't really need proving,Samfuin honestly just wanted to see these human structures called 'buildings' for once. Anthia smile grew warm. She found it rather amusing how this young man acted so much younger, "Your welcome.." The side of her lip curled as the other mentioned her horns. She was always curious as to why people found them so weird. There were plenty of other creatures with weider traits, "You seem to be curious about everything, and yes, I am a shifter. My name is Anthia Kiera Ashdown of house Ashdown, a proud family of shifters but I suspect you would know that just from my last name..” She slowly shook her head and rolled her eyes, “But I am here to serve.” She waved her hand slightly, “My horns are a side effect of my shifting.” She pulled at her dress to expose her collarbone, neck, and some of her chest, “These scales too along with my eyes.” Ashdown....was that name suppose to mean something to him? Tiriaq pushed that aside,more interested in the fact that she was a shifter.Though the way made a big fuss about her lineage made him think she was a 'true' shifter,being able to take on multiple forms,unlike himself,who could only take one."Its interesting how you take on some of your other form in your human one,is it because you take on other forms a lot?"He asked,curious when she showed him the scales along her neck.It was strange,since he didn't seem to have sprouted any feathers from his Star Finch form.Was it because he wasn't born a shifter? "Is your family born shifters? Or did they all have to learn how to do it?" Tiriaq voiced his thoughts,startling himself that he was bold enough to do so.He wasn't sure yet if he would reveal his reason for his intricate questions,he didn't know yet whether he wanted too share that he was a shifter as well. |

Guess that answered his questions.Perhaps it really were just natural born shifters who took on the appearance of their other forms somewhat."Lost in thought after Anthia had explained her and her family's powers,Tiriaq started slightly when the questions turned to him.He froze,not sure how to respond.Questions about himself always did that to him,he just wasn't good at talking about himself.And also,why did they have to be impossible questions to answer? How could he get into the intricacies about his psyche causing him to hide himself behind a mask?Guess he would have to start with the more simple question. "Why am I a performer?"He repeated the question quietly out loud."Dancing...dancing always just came naturally to me,I guess."It was a stupid answer,but it was the best he could come up with.Hopefully she wouldn't press on the matter of the mask though..

Of course she noticed.It was too obvious he had avoided the question about the mask.Glancing down at her hand when she proffered it,Tiriaq hesitantly reached out his own and took it.His name...guess it was only good manners,since she had told him hers."Im known as Tiriaq."He replied,shaking her hand briefly before releasing it again."And...my mask,well,its a comfort,I suppose you could say.Im not afraid of people knowing my identity,but..I am afraid of,myself."That sure didn't clear things up,and it wasn't the full truth,but it was as much as he was willing to tell this stranger.Cause noble or not,thats what she was.He frowned to himself at the thought.It seemed he was closing himself off again,why did he always do that?

Tiriaq watched silently as a curious expression crossed Anthia's face.What was she thinking about?He said something stupid after all.Just like him to go and do something like that.As he was thinking how she probably would just walk away,he was instead surprised by her next question.She wanted him to walk with her?How...different.What could she possibly want to walk with him for? If he stood there frozen much longer though,she'd probably just leave him after all.He still wanted to ask her some questions on shifters though..Pausing a second longer,he reached out and gently linked arms with her."Al..alright."He replied,nodding slightly.

Venom"Right."Tiriaq said in reply,barely taking in the surrounding market because of how nervous he was.He wasn't use to being so open with people,especially people he had just met.He mainly stared at his bare feet,sending up small clouds of dust as they walked,lost in thought about why he had divulged so much about himself to Anthia.Though he was soon startled back into the present by her next question."Besides you? Perhaps..its not impossible,especially back...."He paused,not sure how much more he wanted to reveal at the moment.Especially since it felt as if she was burning holes in his head,with how intently she was looking at him.He didn't have to see her to feel her gaze.Why was she so interested in him?

Luna laid on the grass feeling very content and happy. She nuzzled her mate and lightly licked at his cheek. "How are you feeling my love?"
Harper tilted her head when she saw Redcap. "What are you?" She asked pointing a paw at him.

plagueThe paws and hoof carried the chimera after Samfuin, soundlessly pressing against the ground. They caught up to the unicorn, wings twitching. Flora had simply gone quiet, looking ahead along with Diamond and Stephen. They really had nothing much to say, though perhaps that would change once they got to their destination. After making the trip, the trio pausing at a treeline, Flora lifted a paw and pointed a toe toward the city in the distance. "Called Hollycrest. Very busy place for the humans." Their claw pointed towards the largest structure even from their distance. "Castle. Royals live there." Their wings twitched. "Do you want to get closer? Still pretty far away." It was likely that Samfuin would be fine around them though.

"Have faith my king. A few more tries and I'll soon be expecting." Luna said hoping to reassure him. "This is the fun part after all." She chuckled before settling into a nice silence. After a few minutes, she decided to speak up. "How many would you like to eventually have?"
"Sorry to hear that." Harper said feeling sorry for the little goblin. "Have you had any luck?" She asked tilting her head to the side.
