I thought it might be fun to do a roleplay that used the Warriors Adventure Game system, rather than being a usual roleplay.
If you haven't played the Warriors Adventure Game, it's basically Dungeons & Dragons with cats and (thankfully) simplified quite a bit. You make a character who has a character sheet with your cat's skills and such, and perform skill checks to see if you succeed or fail at certain actions. You can find the full gameplay guide on the official Warrior's site under "Games and Extras."
Of course, besides the skill checks and such, the rest of the roleplay would be akin to the rest- conversations between characters and simple interactions would just be roleplayed as normal. The only difference in that is that the setting and events beyond the cats' control are told entirely by the narrator (in most cases me), and all NPCs will also be done by the narrator.
Basically, if you're at all interested in Dungeons & Dragons but have never played before, the Warriors Adventure Game is a pretty good introduction into the basic idea of D&D, just simplified quite a bit and (of course) with cats.
As for plot, the idea I currently have (at least for our first "mission") is that perhaps our characters are a Clan that was forced out of their old territory and has to journey to find a new one. Another idea is that all our characters actually start as rogues and via a dream from a spirit cat (perhaps from a dead Clan?) must find each other to form a new Clan. Something along those lines, to give our characters a reason to be together and to give a goal to the mission.
So, would anyone be interested in doing this? If so, we can figure out the exact plot and then I'll whip up a forum-friendly text version of the character sheet that you can fill out on here.

I really like your idea, it sounds like it could be a lot of fun! I'm really interested in D&D and the Warriors game, but I have never actually played either before. I think I have a good basic understanding of what happens in the game... I think...? Reading the game guide has always confused me, and honestly it's probably not even worth the effort trying to make me to understand how to play the game in the first place since I'll probably get myself killed before the game even started X3

It's actually not that complicated, the guide is just really.... wordy and roundabout with explaining it, so I'm not surprised you find it difficult to understand lol. I would too if I didn't already have a general idea how to play D&D and similar games.

Okay, well I'm glad I'm not the only one who had trouble with that gameplay 'guide'

Yeah lol. Well, if anyone else comes along and is interested, we'll go for it. Unfortunately, if it's just you there's not much of a point since a one-player game isn't much of a game at all :/

Oop, looks like there's another one. Nice. Okay, well, I'll post the text form then. Which plot do we wanna go with? Old Clan looking for new home, or rogues forming a new Clan?

I like the idea of forming a clan? Maybe if the first run is a success we could do the other one next?

Possibly. Or they could form a Clan and then subsequently be forced out of their original territory. So it would utilize both plots but keep the same characters and story.

Okay, you have three ability scores: strength, intelligence, and spirit. You have 5 points to put in these categories, and you must have at least 1 point in each one. So basically assume you have 1 point in each and then 2 extra points to put in any of them. To explain these stats:
"Strength represents your apprentice’s physical power and coordination. Cats with higher Strength scores are better able to climb, pounce, wrestle, and do other bits of roughhousing. When they fight, Strength makes their blows hit harder (though not necessarily land more accurately).... Choose a high Strength score if your cat wants to be especially good at fighting, hunting, and other physical activities."
"Intelligence represents your cat’s general knowledge and ability to figure out solutions to difficult problems. Cats with higher Intelligence scores are better able to remember things they’ve heard or seen before, figure out ways to successfully deal with new situations, and make complex plans to reach a difficult goal. W hen they fight, Intelligence lets them make very accurate strikes (though not necessarily land them with any extra power). Choose a high Intelligence score if your apprentice wants to be especially good at tracking, spotting danger, and understanding mysterious events."
"Spirit represents your cat’s general willpower and ability to understand how other cats feel about different situations. Cats with higher Spirit scores are better at resisting the temptations of curiosity, anticipating what someone else will do in a given situation, and sensing unseen changes in the world. W hen they fight, Spirit lets them anticipate where their foes are likely to strike next and get out of the way (though it doesn’t help much when it comes to striking back). Choose a high Spirit score if your apprentice wants to be good at understanding the thoughts and problems of other cats, or take on a role of responsibility such as being a medicine cat or a cat who the leader depends on for advice."

Next, you have skills. Skills build off of your abilities, based on which one they fall under. For example, if you have a 3 in strength and a 2 in climb, you have a total of 5 in climb (strength) checks. Skill modifiers can never go above 5, but to start, you can choose 3 skills to have a +1 in. Because the cats in the guide start with a Clan and each Clan gets a +1 in a certain skill, but we don't have Clans to start out, I'll actually give you the choice of 4 skills.
You can find descriptions for the skills on page 11 in the guide- I'm not gonna copy and paste all of them lol.
That's actually pretty much the basis of it. After that, anything else you get is determined by your cat's age. How old is your cat? I would probably recommend not making them older than 20 moons (25 max), and no younger than 10.

The only problem I see is that all of the skills are together- I grouped them based on their corresponding ability, but they're all skills. You get to pick four skills overall, not four skills from each ability category.

Hey sorry I poofed. Anyways, looks good now.
Okay, so now, you get to add +1 to your strength stat and +1 to either intelligence or spirit. Were she a Clan cat, this would represent her graduating from apprentice to warrior and now being fully grown. You also get to choose 3 knacks. You can find brief descriptions of the knacks on page 17 of the guide, and the following pages offer more in-depth descriptions of them.
After this, you'll get to make a few more additions to your cat based on age, but I'll tell you what those are after you pick your first 3 knacks.

Alright, looks good. And now the final step. Each moon of your cat's life, s/he gets to improve things like knacks, abilities, and skills. At this point, your cat is leveled to about 10 moons, so I'm gonna tell you what to add to get her to 19.
+3 Skill +2 Any ability +3 Knack + 1 Intelligence or Spirit

Okay, so if I understand you correctly this is what I have to do:
Add a point to three more skills of my choice Add 2 ability points to any of my abilities, and add another ability point to either 'I' or 'S'? And add three more knacks?

Yep. And that will improve her skills to that of a 19-moon-old according to the guide.

I agree, this should be fun if we can get enough people to actually join. Won't be much of a Clan if it's only a couple people though, unfortunately.
