I just, ugh, don’t know what to say. I feel like Tree isn’t really the sort of cat to have a mate and kits. I do like Violetshine, and I guess their relationship is okay. I mean it’s better than most the ones we get thrown now.

I hate this ship with a passion. I don’t like it much either lol. I don’t really see the point of it. Violetshine doesn’t really fit the “motherly cat” sort of thing for me either. And Tree- what’s the point of him either?

I like them together I guess, but it would be a lot better if Tree was a better character

I'd have an easier time warming up to it if Violetshine's feelings about him didn't do a complete flip inbetween DN and RoF without any explanation why, that's my biggest hindrance with the idea of them as a couple. And if Tree was better and not useless to the plot and all as a character and shoved into a useless and redundant role.
But oh well. It's healthy from what I've seen I guess, compared to how Fin and Twig ended up to be. Ugh...

I absolutely love them together. I thought they were fine in DN, RoF, and TRS, I just wish they were handled better in RoF. But I'm not really going to complain about it all that much since it's a healthy relationship in AVoS. Honestly, I only blame the problem of Warriors switching between authors for their books, then I feel like their relationship would've been handled better. I mean the only possible explanation for Violetshine's sudden flip in feelings about Tree is if they began spending time together off-screen before the start of RoF and that's when she started liking Tree.

I love them together.
Kate already knows what the names of their kits are as well. I hope that means that at least one of them (don't know how many kits they'll have yet) will get a POV next series.

i thought i’d hate it as tree really irks me in RoF and it’s a fast ship. however, after reading TRS, i actually find it really cute. they seem like a good match for each other and tree is growing on me in general.

I think they're fine. People seem to forget that Violetshine has shown signs of abandonment issues, which honestly isn't surprising with how she was raised. So her doing a supposed "flip" with her feelings, is kinda a stretch imo. If anything, I guess she's the equivalent of a tsundere when it comes to warriors, I've actually seen people claim that Crowfeather is similar when it came to his initial relationship with Leafpool.
Tree doesn't seem like the type to settle down, neither does Violetshine, but that's the thing, this is part of their characters, and I think that's overlooked as well. Violetshine, who's had it harder than her sister, was tossed around repeatedly but found her true home, and true calling in SkyClan, alongside the rest of her kin. Tree, on the other hand, was always a lazy easy going loner that didn't have to do much but look out for himself. But then when they have time apart, both he and Violetshine start to realize their more intimate feelings for one another and I'm happy they addressed this.
They say time and distance makes the heart grow fonder, Tree missed Violetshine, and didn't realize what he had until she was gone, despite getting his easy life as a loner back. And Violetshine, despite being with her kin, and still have them in the end, still lost her sister, and the cat she developed feelings for. I feel that her speech to the rest of SkyClan, about staying strong and being together, was a good notion to that about her character. Tree wanted her to stay with him, but he didn't want it at the cost of her happiness and respected her choice to leave. These two, imo, have come a long way, and I think they're compatible just fine.
Seeing their relationship come full circle was actually pretty satisfying, I knew from the start that they'd probably work out the best since they had the better and more mature chemistry. I'm also excited to see how their kits will be.
