*sighs* I feel like a clueless newbie all over again. Anyways, I've tried everything to give myself an avatar that's actually nice. But images from my phone (I can only use mobile) don't seem to work; the site always says that they're too big. I can also find some of my images by googling them, but I don't know if there's a way to use Google images? Can someone help me find a way to do this in any way possible? XD

You can usually find out how big the picture is under "details" in the picture setting in the gallery, depending on the phone

All right... let me see if my phone does that. (Having a new phone isn't helping me right now xD)

If it'll make things easier, you can post them here and I can tell you how big they are.

Is it possible to do that on mobile? And even so, I did find one now that's around 400kb, apparently.

I think when it says the picture is too big, it's not in file size, but the size of the picture itself.

Oh, there we go, finally! Thank you for having me check the size, that must have been it. (: if you have a moment before this thread is deserted - is it possible to post art while on mobile?

You'd have to upload it through a image hosting site { imgur/tinypic }, I believe unfortunately. I use the computer, so I'm not the best qualified to answer that

Ah, darn it. I don't use those sites. Maybe I'm going to have to eventually, though thank you very much for all the help.

I've found on some forums that deviantArt works too, if you're likely to use that website instead. You just upload the pic there, right click (or long hold, if on mobile), tap 'open image in new tab' and copy/paste the link for it into the forums with [/IMG] around it.
