With a population of only three hundred and twenty people, most over look this town. Hidden in a deep forest of a northern state, it's also hard to run across it. Most people who are here now are the decendants of the ones who built this town, over two hundred years ago, and still hold magic they forgot about long ago...

When claiming a character, you may change pretty much anything about them that you'd like. Also, you may (and I reccomend doing so) add any relations with other unclaimed characters that you'd like them to have, such as crushes, bf/gfs and friends. Tegan Holmes - This short-tempered 17-year-old girl has hazel eyes, a fair complexion, and curly platinum blond hair usually held up in a mid-length ponytail. She is a little tall, standing at 5'6", and a bit heavy. She likes playing video games and is a not a great student.
Ruby Wood - This impetuous 17-year-old girl has gray eyes, an olive complexion, and straight light brown hair worn loose about the shoulders. She is short, fairly muscular, and wears a lot of black. She loves listening to J-Pop and is an excellent student.

Alfie Morris - Alfie is easy going and outspoken. Branded a nerd when younger he has grown in to himself and is now much more popular. Tilly Owen - This Ever since Tilly was young she was always the fastest in her class. In Gym she put the boys to shame, perhaps that is what has fueled her desire to become an athlete. Her constant training has given her an amazing figure, well toned and yet still feminine. Her long hair is almost never down, usually fastened in a sleek ponytail that hides the gentle waves her raven tresses naturally fall into. The school is quite obviously the newest building in Westwood, as the old one burned down in a fire three years ago, killings nine students and a teacher. Having just reopened a year ago, the new school building has just started its second school year. The school is made up of a large square with two small retangle rooms on either side of it, making up the gym and auditorium. The building is made of light brick with white stone covering the corners.
Inside, the main part of the school is made up of a few offices on the main floor, as well as the science classrooms. Upstairs are the math, history and English classrooms. The school doesn't offer many elective classes, mbut the few that they do have are held in the classrooms closet related to the subject, like how Marine Biology is held in a science classroom. They do not have a football field or track, but they do have a a sports field for lacrosse and soccer.

Westwood is primarily made up of a main street, with nultiple other streets branching off with the houses in the town. Almost all of the houses are wooden and very old, though well maintained over the years.
There is a medium-sized park that borders the schoolyard. The whole park has a historical and almost fairy tail feel to it, with a small but grand bridge across the stream that cuts across the park, with delicate carvings and many flower boxes. There are many sculptures throughout the park, as well as lots of flowers. There is a small playground on the other side of park from the school, and is made of wood and designed to look like a castle.
There's also the Main Street...
The Museum - a multi-level museum near the middle of town in one of the shop-style buildings on the Main Street. It holds 'all' the old artifacts found in the town, and is decorated in various shades of gray.
The Music Shop - a good-sized shop on the Main Street, with average quality, fairly priced instruments and a helpful staff.
The Gift Shop - a small shop on the Main Street that sells average small items, like notepads, journals, cards and gift books.
The Gardening Store - a large on the Main Street, with lots of supplies and plants. They sell slightly low-quality stuff and most is overpriced.
The Video Game Shop - a small store on the Main Street with fairly priced items but an occasionally rude staff.
The Plant Shop - A small store off the Main Street that sells fairly priced plants.
The Scrapbooking Shop - a small shop on the Main Street with stickers, colorful paper and ribbon. They are overpriced but have an extremely helpful staff.
The Art Shop - a small shop on the Main Street with various fairly priced art supplies, from pencils and markers to a small selection of canvases and yarn.
The Hardware Shop - a large shop on the Main Street that sells a good selection of appliances, hardware and tools.
The Camping Shop - a large shop off Main Street with lots of good-quality camping gear, though they can be a bit overpriced.
The Health Food Shop - a small shop on Main Street that sells healthy and exotic foods, as well as organic versions of common food. They are a bit overpriced, but considering the next nearest food store is twenty minutes away from the town they do get a lot of business.
The Clothing Shop - a large clothing shop on the Main Street. They sell mostly wintery and cool colors in shades of grays, blues and creams, and the clothes are fairly sturdy, such as jeans, jackets and cotton shirts. With the next nearest clothing store being on the next town over, about half an hour away, most people in the town can be seen wearing these clothes.
The whole main plot of this revolves around the fact that Westwood used to be filled with magic, and traces of it still cling to the town. As odd happenings become more frequent and a few curious students start investigating, everyone gets tangled up in something ancient, and more mysterious and dangerous than they could have imagined it would turn out.
