Aka what do you use to draw? I have been using a Wacom Intuos Small Pen w/o touch for the past few years and today decided to buy an Wacom Intuos Pro Pen 2. It's a little weird to get used to having a bigger surface area to work with. So i'm curious now to see what everyone else uses. I'm wondering if i should bring this one back and buy the smaller one tbh but-

Ooh, well back in the day I started out using a wacom graphire4 tablet which I used to the point that the grip fell off the pen haha. Then I upgraded to the wacom medium inutos4. At first the size was strange to me too but I think you can adapt pretty fast, but honestly you probably would be fine with smaller one if it's worth you saving the extra cash. That served me well for a couple of years, but then one day it just...stopped working. Couldn't boot it back up, tried lots of weird tricks after digging around on the internet but I never got it to work again. Then I tried a cheap huion for a bit, and it also stopped working after a much shorter amount of time. Now I've upgraded to a cintiq 22hd because wacom did a sale on some refurbished ones at a hefty discount. It's a very nice piece of equipment and I feel lucky to have it.

I've done a drawing with it and can say now without hesitation that the increase in space is lovely. I didn't have a particular budget with what I was willing to spend/save up for but going for this one was good. I got it on sale for $70 off which was also great. I got it in size Medium, I should have mentioned that. The difference in how this tablet works and feels while drawing is rather astounding. Like night and day.

I started out with a Wacom Bamboo Capture (small) sometime around 2012 or 2013, then like a couple years later decided I wanted to get a bigger one with more pressure sensitivity. I couldn't really afford an expensive one, so I went with a Huion 580. It worked well, but like you said, it felt a bit odd to draw on the larger surface for a while. I can't remember how long I used that one, but I got a Surface Pro 4 for Christmas two years ago. It felt a little strange drawing on the screen at first but I got used to it pretty quickly and I absolutely love it now. I've switched programs quite a bit recently, but ClipStudio Paint seems to work really well so I'll probably stick with it.
