Introduction to Boneclan
You've been wandering this swampy area for what seems like hours, high cattails reach far above your head and make it hard to make out how far you've gone of even if you've been walking in circles! You sit down with a huff, feeling lost, when all of a sudden the reeds behind you rustle.
Swiftly you turn around with a hiss, but no one is there. You calm yourself down, thinking being by yourself for so long has made you jumpy when turning around you bump headfirst into another cat. You scam led backwards to defend yourself only to bump into another cat, and taking a quick look around you makes your stomach drop: You're surrounded.
The cat you had bumped into first, a tom, is sleek furred and has an air of authority around him that makes you flatten yourself to the ground, wondering what you've gotten yourself into. The large tom steps forward,"I am Heronstar," He announces with a idly flick of his tail,"Leader of Boneclan," the name makes you gulp,"And what are you doing on our territory?" He demands, gaze sharpening making you feel like a kit, you hurriedly explain.
Heronstar stares at you for a moment, then nods, and to relief the ring of cats around you retreats a bit and you can breath a bit easier. "We could always use more warriors." He suddenly said, a calculating look in his face,"How would you like to join Boneclan?"

Rules of Boneclan
1. Follow all forum rules and ghost rules.
2. NO KIT-STEALING- the only exception is if it will be a Rp plot point between Boneclan and a Neighboring Clan.
3. Please be active! Let me know if you will be gone for a few days or I will be deleting for inactiveness for 1 week.
4. Please inform me if you have an certain Rp idea you would like to the clan to follow (I.E, battles with other clans, a flood, sickness, prophecies, ext.)
5. No swearing, or graphic mating please.
6. Please also try to be literate! No one liners, or stuff like that.
6. Please be realistic with your cats, no Mary-Sues or purple cats.

History of Boneclan
Boneclan's story starts a few days after the Battle of Four Trees. The remaining cats of Scourges clan had retreated to their old dens, however, the stories that Tigerstar had told them lingered in their minds. Prey for their clan and safe homes for their kits, a place that didn't constantly smell like two-leg monsters.
Swift, a large black and white tom, was the first cat the suggest that they find a place like this. Far away from Firestar and this horrible two-leg place. He renamed Bloodclan, one he felt suited him and his surviving clanmates better, to Boneclan and became the first leader.
However, they didn't know the first thing about the forest clans, or how to become like them and the hunt for a new home was hard. Swift soon died on the journey, replaced by his son Leap, a calico tom. Leap had no better idea than any of them, but soon Starclan gave the cats the direction they were so desperately seeking.
Bluestar told Leap about a swamp, with thick cattails and heavy streams, outside of an abandoned two-leg place. Leap joyous and led his clan mates proudly, now with some idea of what they were looking for. Leap didn't last long without Starclans nine lives, and was replaced by a young, scrappy she-cat named Oak.
Oak was the cat that found the swamp, and led her eager clanmates to their new home. With lots of help from Starclan, they made their clan borders, and set up camp. In that time, the last of the collared cats of Bloodclan had past, so Oak cemented their memory in Boneclan forever, by calling that apprentices of Boneclan would become warriors by earning their collars.
Despite being the first 'offical' leader of Boneclan, Oak was never given her 9 lives, and died of old age. Tadpole, her son, took over the clan and helped continue the long process of building Boneclan. He picked a deputy, Mallow, and soon left to become Boneclans Medicine Cat. It was Tadpole who found the place where Boneclan could talk to Starclan, allowing future leaders to earn their nine lives.
Mallow was a hard cat, and was the first Boneclan Leader to get his nine lives, becoming Mallowstar and cementing the clans place in both Starclan and the Dark Forest. With Oaks decree in mind, he added another, all Boneclan kits are given single names and their prefixes will be added at apprenticeship. His kits, Splash and Otter, where given their apprentice names, Splashpaw and Otterpaw, further making Boneclan a true clan.

- Additional Clan Info -
1. Apprentices must earn a collar to become a Boneclan warrior, to do this they must past an assessment test. Once completed they will become warriors and given their collars by their current leader and given their warrior names. A common Boneclan practice is decorating their collars with bones to protect their throats or as a sign of many battles won. Boneclan's collars are extremely important to the clan cats, and they wear them proudly. Losing your collar is extremely taboo and is sad to be bad luck for the cat and the clan, and you must work twice as hard to re-earn the right to wear one again.
2.Something unique to Boneclan is the naming system, young kits are given singular names (I.E. Otter and Heron), once they are apprentices though, they follow normal warrior cat names (I.E. Otterpaw, Heronfeather)
3. Boneclan uses a combination of Riverclan and Shadowclan type moves do due the marshy, river landscape that they live in.

- Boneclan Territory and Landmarks -Boneclan rests in Marshy wetland, with high reaching cattails and reeds. Their are many rivers within the territory, some shallow enough to barely wet your paws and some deep enough that you can't see the bottom. Their are a few trees and bushes, though not many and they are clustered together across the territory. ๐๐๐๐ - Boneclan Camp -Boneclan camp rests near the western edge of the territory surrounded by large tree-like bushes and thick reeds. These reeds are woven together tightly with the bushes, creating a strong barrier. The ground of the camp is hard packed mud, smooth and slightly wet. The camp is surrounded by a shallow river. ๐๐๐๐ Leaders Den - on top of a small incline, sits the leaders den. It's a structure build right into the barrier, made of reeds and cattails. The entrance is covered with moss and the floor is stone, with the leaders nest in the corner. There is a hole in the back for quick escapes and entrances. Medicine Cat Den - Like the leaders den, the Medicine Cats Den is build into the barrier, right next to an old dying tree, where the medicine cat stores their herbs. The back of the den is open and pools at the dip. The floor is sandy and the nests are lined with duck feathers and moss. It's on the right side of the camp, inbetween the nursery and elders den. Warriors Den - Between two fallen trees, the reeds woven together to create a pirvate place for the warriors to sleep. The floor is stone, and the nests are made of moss. Left side of the camp, across from the medicine cat den and next to the Apprentice den. Apprentice Den - On the left side of camp next to the warriors den, across from the elders den. Shares the build style into the barrier, the floor is sandy. Nursery - To the left of the Medicince cat den, the nursery is built into the barrier and is the most hidden den in the camp as well as the farthest away from the camp entrance. The floor is sandy and the nests are made of moss and bird down. Elders Den - Across from the Apprentice den, and to the right of the Medicine cat den, the elders den is the closest to the camp entrance, save for the warriors den. The floor is stone and the nests are made of moss and feathers. ๐๐๐๐๐ - Places Outside Boneclan Camp -The Training Pool - large, but somewhat shallow pool near camp. Here mentors take their apprentices to learn to hone their fishing skills, and practice fighting in water. Abandoned Two-Leg Camp - Large sprawling two-leg camp, filled with empty and run down two-leg dens. Boneclan has weathered flooding and harsh storms here, and there are sometimes mice that do the same. The clan mainly hunts here in Leaf-Bare. On the east side of the territory The Star Tree - A large bone white tree by itself on an island, it's branches reach towards the sky. Its roots are surrounded by an ice cold pool of water with reflects the tree. Touching your nose to the water also Medincine Cats to talk with Starlcan. Near the bottom of the territory. The Weeping Willow - A large weeping willow by itself in a clearing, the clans dead are buried here. Near the camp. ![]() ๐๐๐๐๐๐![]() |

Heronstar - a 85 moons large blue/gray tom with thick glossy fur and deep blue eyes. He has white patches on his chest and paws.
Heronstar is a kind leader, and often helps with the training of clan apprentices.
However, disrespect towards him or his clanmates will not be tolirated.
He has a blue collar around his neck with two long bones jutting out the front, protecting his throat. He has 6 lives left and is 85 moons old.

Troutbelly - A sleek furred, slightly chubby ginger tom with a white chest and underbelly and green eyes.
Troutbelly is a kind hearted tom, and a bit of a push over. He is a former kittypet, with explain the extra chub, which he never seems to lose no matter hard he tries.
He is a good fisher, and always ready to lend a helping paw. He is 30 moons old, and has a dark blue collar.

Breezecloud - A small medium furred brown she-cat with black classic tabby stipes and swirls on her body and black tabby stripes on her cheeks. Her tail is fluffy with black stripes going up it and a black tail tip. Her belly, chest, front paws, and back toes are white as is her muzzle but her chin is black. Her eyes are a medium blue with lighter blue around the pupal. She has a scar above her right eye from play fighting as a kit and two scars on her right front leg from a dog bite. Her collar is a light blue with a few bones and a dog claw in it.
Breezecloud can be shy and a little socially awkward around cats she doesn't know very well, but once she is your friend she is the complete opposite. She can be talkative and goofy as well as a little random and strange. Hunting is her favorite thing to do and whenever she has free time she likes to walk around outside of camp enjoying the scenes and weather. Her main flaw however is she does have a temper and can be very stubborn when she wants to be. She is loyal to her friends and loves to spend time with younger cats, especially kits. She follows the warrior code but if she feels it is necessary she may break or bend a rule or two.

Emberclaw is a large, broad-shouldered, great brown tabby tom-cat with white markings. He has a short tail and pale green eyes. He has a dark green collar with many bones hanging around his neck; 64 moons
Emberclaw is stubborn, serious, and intimidating. He likes to be respected by younger cats, and a good hunter and fighter. Although he seems mean, he can be happy with his closest friends.

Lakepaw is friendly, energetic, and funny. He likes to be around other people, and easily makes new friends. Although his fighting skills aren't very good, he exceeds at swimming and hunting.

Redpool is a dark reddish-tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat with dark amber eyes and a long, pointy tail. She has small ears and strange white markings around her eyes and muzzle. She has an orange collar with very few bones, as she fought very few battles; 29 moons
Redpool is calm, quiet, and likes to be alone. She can be funny and friendly when she needs too, but only with her closest friends. She can climb and fight exceptionally, but is horrible at hunting and swimming.

Unlike most clan leaders, that probably never left their camp, Heronstar actively left if he felt they could handle a few moments by themselves, like now. Heronstar crouched by the edge of one of the deeper rivers in Boneclan territory, making sure his shadow didn't fall on the water as he scanned it for fish. His fishing skills had been lacking as of late, and as the clan leader, he needed to sharpen them a bit. |

Breezecloud stepped out of the warriors' den into the light of day. She slowly stretched her back, giving way to any tension that was in the muscles. Once she was done with that she shook her fur out. Looking around she tried to see if anyone else was about and moving.
Spottedbark sat beside the fresh-kill pile, trying to see if he could sort out what was good and what could be going bad. A decently plump mouse kept catching his attention making him wonder if he should eat now or wait until after he preformed any tasks assigned to him.

Description: Long-furred white she-cat with a silver flash on her throat and pale green eyes. She has one black front paw and black ear tips and tail-tip. She has a light blue collar with only a paw full of teeth on it. She is 24 moons old.
Personality: She can come off forceful when going head to head with other cats, but she cares about each individual Clanmate. She is very loyal and would fight to the death to protect her Clanmates if need be. Despite her trusting nature, she has a hard time revealing her secrets, big or small, and tries to reveal little to nothing about herself.
