So I’m in a romantic/ship mood and If I cannot have more content, then I will make my own. Also, this helps me keep characters in character when I write about them, which I am doing currently for TawnyRowan. Please give me feedback/any ideas ya’ll have!.
Berrynose X Poppyfrost:
-While they got together not long after Honeyfern’s death, it wasn’t an overnight thing. Both were incredibly hurt and pained over her death. When Poppyfrost told him how she had felt, she had said it almost jokingly. At first, Berrynose didn’t feel the same, and wasn’t ready to move on. Then, as they spent patrols together, and he learned more about Poppyfrost as a cat, he grew enamored by her.
-Berrynose will always love Honeyfern, but his love for Poppyfrost is just as strong and just as valid.
-Sometimes they both feel guilty about being together, only for each of them to remind eachother that they do care deeply about eachother.
-Poppyfrost makes Berrynose feel valid, especially when he is surrounded by cats who call him out on his negatives. Berrynose makes Poppyfrost feel valid, as he tells her constantily how brave and beautiful she is, and how keen he is on sharing his deepest secrets and fears with her.
-They both are fiercely opinionated and extremely loyal and dedicated to their clan. They make a fantastic team at anything they do, fighting, hunting, fixing nests, and parenting
-Berrynose and Poppyfrost believe that pride is not a hinderance and that there’s no shame in loving yourself and your success. They both can be overly proud at times though, and are totally the over the top soccer parents.
-Berrynose was the first cat Poppyfrost saw and became friends with when she was made an apprentice. She loved him nearly from the start.
-Berrynose and Poppyfrost are firm with eachother in that they will never use Honeyfern’s name for any kind of argument, and that they will never use her name in vain. They both loved her and still do, even if they love eachother too.
-More to be added-
Rowanstar X Tawnypelt
(Okay so alot of these because I have so much content planned for them and can go wild since we ain’t got alot of canon content)
-Tawnypelt and Rowanstar first met when Tigerstar escorted her into Shadowclan. She was miserable and tense surrounded by new and scary and ill and pained looking cats, but she noticed how scrawny and tomish Rowanstar, then Rowanpaw was. Even as he pouted and doubted her on the spot, he still had an air to him that reminded her of her old home during her kithood.
-Rowanstar was impressioned at a young age and had already seen alot of death and misery in his young life, so Tawnypaw’s arrival made him hostile. After all, his mentor and the rest of the older warriors despised Thunderclan. Deep down though, he secretly admired her eyes.
-The start of their relationship was incredibly rocky. He taunted and talked down at her, and she ignored him and called him brutish. He only got more arrogant, so she knocked him down a peg by kicking his tail in battle. Being older, Rowanpaw was frantic to best her. His mentor was not fond of being dissapointed.
-Rowanpaw was just like the rest of his clan, until the Bloodclan battle. He realized that day what kind of death and damage rouges could bring, what kind of betrayl Shadowclan could face when Jaggedtooth joined Bloodclan and fled at the end. Rowanpaw lost alot of his innocent fire and arrogance.
-Tawnypaw began noticing and their dynamic changed. Rowanpaw became less innocently arrogant and more reserved and focused. She missed the pattern and tried to spark their arguments again.
-Rowanclaw and Tawnypelt are warriors by now, and had talked more and became more civil. Rowanclaw did feel betrayed when Tawnypelt left on the Sundrownplace journey and was hostile to her after that, believing she was always going to choose Thunderclan and her brother over Shadowclan.
-Tawnypelt is sick and tired of being accused of disloyalty once they reach the lake territory when she’s on a hunt with Rowanclaw. She snaps and yells at him and storms off to sit by herself by the lake. Rowanclaw follows, and Tawnypelt breaks down, admitting her fears and her pain and all she had felt, and how she felt so alone.
-Rowanclaw realizes and begins to see things her way. It’s extremely hard, with how he was brought up and with his environment, for him to admit his own fears and thoughts. He has always felt alone too, even at home. He quietly admits that he was more upset that she had possibly left Shadowclan and left him more than he was upset about her being Thunderclan. He tells her that Jaggedtooth and Tigerstar and the others had been his heroes, only for them to betray and break his home and him.
-Rowanclaw quietly admits that she’s the closest thing to a friend he’s ever had. Tawnypelt realizes that he’s the closest thing to a friend she’s had too in the clan.
-They are more honest with eachother now. Rowanclaw learns to accept her loyalty and Tawnypelt shows him a slice of life free of sickness and violence and insults and harshness that he’s never had before. Tawnypelt falls in love with him, and she becomes his beacon of light.
-They sneak out at night and run through the pine forest, letting themselves have the apprenticehood/childhood they wanted free of judging or angry eyes. Rowanclaw shows a side of himself that he has never showed anyone else besides his brother, and Tawnypelt feels more accepted than she has in moons. They become mates.
-Tawnypelt is scared to tell him she is expecting kits, and scared the clan will see them differently. But Rowanclaw is elated and admits he never thought he’d ever be a father. He’s so proud, and makes it clear to everyone how great Shadowclan will be better off with their kits. He’s fiercely defensive too, something he never used to be with her.
-Rowanclaw put himself all in when the kits came. He kept Tawnypelt fed, comfortable, entertained the kits when she wanted to stretch or walk, taught them in his free time, and was beaming with pride.
-Rowanclaw meant every word he said when he defended Tawnypelt’s loyalty when she wanted to help the Tribe. He watched the kits dutifully.
-Once Blackstar began renouncing his faith, and as most of Shadowclan followed his lead, Rowanclaw was one of the doubtful ones, still believing in Starclan. Even so, he was still incredibly loyal to Shadowclan, ingrained in his mind. Tawnypelt and Rowanclaw had a bitter argument, not like their usual quips, but full of emotion and serious arguing. Once it was over, both were severely hurt, broken up, and Tawnypelt left Shadowclan with the kits to find refuge in Thunderclan.
-Rowanclaw was miserable in a now faithless Shadowclan, torn between his family and his loyalty to Shadowclan and Blackstar. He felt horrible for their fight, knowing he couldn’t manage without her and their kits. He watched Blackstar change his name back to Blackfoot and move off with Sol all the time and that piercing pain of betrayal and anger at practically being left behind made him quietly defiant against Blackstar’s choices.
-He was incredibly relieved when Blackstar saw sense and got rid of Sol. The moment Tawnypelt and their kits returned, he apologized and broke down. Tawnypelt did exactly the same, feeling horrible for the things she said when they fought, and that being apart from him was the greatest pain she had ever felt. As loyal as she was to Shadowclan, Rowanclaw was her greatest friend.
-The quickly revive their relationship after a while and become closer than ever. They raise their kits and stick strong to eachother through Shadowclan’s stressful moments. This time promising to stay together.
-They butt heads alot and argue but it’s in good nature, and they compliment eachother greatly. She helps him with his pride and judgement that was hammered into him from birth, and he helps her with her temper and self-doubt.
-Rowanclaw, once he was named deputy, was secretly terrified. He was lanky and lean and wore his fierceness as a farce to look strong for his clan. By now, Tawnypelt had shown him there was more to strength and dedication than causing pain or clawing for power. Rowanclaw wanted to be a strong deputy, but was terrified that he’d become leader and would not match up to Blackstar. Rowanclaw never wanted to become like the leaders he had grown up with. Murdering, racked with illness, traitors and plotters.
-Tawnypelt stood by his side and assured him that he would make a great deputy. That he had a heart and morals to balance out Blackstar’s roughness and dark past. Tawnypelt admits to him that he is the cat Shadowclan needs, and has needed for a long time.
-Rowanclaw is inspired by her, and swears if anything, he will be the kind of leader and deputy that she deserves, and that will make her proud.
I’ve got more, but it’s not fleshed out yet.
