So I have this Steampunk RP stored up. I've got all the notes for it and basically worked out how it should go down. I would need to add some art and such to it (since I never created any in the first place), but it should be ready fairly soon. It is a bit complex/long (most of my RPs are). It should be fun though! I just need a plot for it. Here is the opening for it:
The heavy clang of metal echoed around her from the factory. Heat blasted in her face from the furnace near by heating the molten metals of iron, copper, steel, and a few random others. Steam blasted out from pipes beneath her feet and behind her, making the working space harder to breath. A heavy sigh left her lips as she glanced around at her fellow workers. Nothing had changed other than the sweat clinging to the workers. The people seemed more tired than they were that morning, but she couldn't tell the exact time it was now. This was her life. Working day in and day out. Practically living inside the factory, rarely seeing a sunrise or a sunset. A snort echoed from behind her. She caught a glimpse of red disappearing behind the steam as the pipes began banging in tune of a well known meaning. A copper colored cog landed in front of her. It was just large enough to fit in her hand. She picked it up and flipped it over, spying the marking. She smirked.
Above, in a temperature controlled room, he watched his factory produce the gears and cog and other sorts of odd objects. He pulled out a white handkerchief from the inside of his coat pocket and gently dabbed the sweat on the top of his head. He turned away from the window and nodded to the manager in charge. Another man opened the door for him and he made it outside into the busy, dirty street where his ride sat waiting for him. He hopped in the scarlet carriage and away from the streets of Kose. He gaze boredly out the window as the streets turned cleaner and the people dressed nicer. He watched as simple looking families walked by with simple looking shoppes and cafes covering the sidewalks. Trery soon faded away into something much more fancy with practically pristine looking homes with large yards and even larger houses. Few people walked in the streets and even few places of business. The carriage stopped in front of the more pretty looking homes, and he got out. Before he could make it inside, something fell to the ground from the bottom of the carriage. The silver colored cog rolled around his feet before spinning to a stop as a mark shown on the upward facing sign. A snarl broke the carefully calm face as he glared around. He snorted angrily and made his was inside.
Please let me know what you think! Thank you!
