Here me out on this one,
I start 'role play' pages for various types of multi-member rp's (ie, This Supernatural RP). However, I leave often and find all the rp admin to do myself exhausting. However, during the course of the rp I make friends and they would happily run the rp for me in my absence.
Problem is, I don't want to give them my actual account details. Therefore, I was wondering if it would be possible for me to make a second account exclusively for the purposes of rp admin. The account would be used to make the first page of a rp, and nothing more. The account details would then be passed to those who expressed a wish to run the rp.
Anyone who had the account details would understand the strict rules of the account usage -- for the editing of the 'first post' on a multi-member roleplay. Nothing more. Forum staff could be given a list of every member who has access to the account, and would obviously know that the account is a rp admin account (it would be stated in the signature and everything)
I do realise this is unorthodox and the initial reaction may be negative towards this idea, but it would be a massive help to myself and others who want to run roleplay's between each other. I know the reasons behind the barring of a second account, and the worries this kind of arrangement could set up -- but I do think that with strict rules on the 'rp admin account' usage, and a reserved right to delete the account if the arrangement didn't work out, it may be possible for something like this to take place.
