they are all siblings, right!? i forget they even were siblings. i always thought they were separate, such as: cinderpelt with brackenfur; thornclaw and brightheart...
BUT EVEN THEN! i even forget brightheart and thornclaw are a sibling pair too!!!
but they were all siblings in the same litter right?? i dont even remember why they were apprenticed differently!

Which makes Cinderpelt's sacrifice even more painful, she died protecting her brother's mate and kits...

Yeah, they're all from the same litter. In Into the Wild, Frostfur has four kits that were stolen by ShadowClan. It's just that shortly after this incident, Cinderpelt and Brackenfur became apprentices a bit earlier than Brightheart and Thornclaw did. Graystripe even points out that they're not six moons old yet.
In Forest of Secrets, one of the kits complains about not being able to become an apprentice and insulting one of Frostfur's kits.
And in Brackenfur Speaks: A New Warrior, Brackenfur mentions his littermates, but not by name.
Their relation has been acknowledged a few times after that, but it also does this weird thing where the narrative just seems to act as though they were either from different litters or just weren't related at all.

𝓣𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓿𝓲𝓮𝓵 Well, that's quite a few levels of messed up. Bluestar just took down a tyrant for apprenticing kits too early, yet here she is. Siblings shouldn't be apprenticed separately if they are all the same age and perfectly healthy, which they were. That's just leds to unnecessary jealousy and favouritism, which leads to Swiftpaw situations. And when she makes the excuse, "Almost 6 moons old", notice how Fireheart laster says "Few moons ago" when he sees Thornkit complaining. That means it's not a signal moon before, maybe Bluestar can get away with 5 moons. But no, serval moons. Meaning they were either 4 or 3 moons when they were apprenticed. *Sigh*

They don't really seem like siblings. Brackenfur and Cinderpelt go well together but I don't seen anywhere that Thornclaw would fit in.

they're all siblings, but it's always felt like there was a weird separation between them. even when brightpaw was first injured, it didn't seem at all like cinderpelt was fretting over her sister i personally headcanon the reason thornclaw and brightheart were apprenticed later was because of them falling ill while being in shadowclan's camp (under brokenstar's rule) and therefore taking longer to gain strength + size. this doesn't make that much sense, though, because they were only stolen for like a day or two Agreed I feel like the authors forgot they came from the same litter. Side note: ARMY!
