Yikes, I've never had any teachers this bad.
Oh, but I had this Spanish teacher one year who literally had a degree in teaching preschool. Preschool. Keep in mind that I was in eighth grade at the time. Anyway, he literally couldn't explain anything, and he just had us do art projects for a month at a time and then give us a vocab test?? We literally spent one month building houses out of clay...

It was pretty chill to be honest, except that he would spring tests on us with no preparation like 2 days before (and since we did literally nothing, each one was worth like 30% of our final grade). It definitely was an easy A, though xD But the teacher...I can't even explain why we hated him so much, but he was basically the human reincarnation of Barney with a temper. He literally sang us songs to fill class time, and if we started to chat during whatever art project we were doing, he brought in the assistant head of school because apparently he couldn't control a bunch of 13-year-olds.

someone drew on the carpet with crayons in middle school history class, and the teacher blamed me and this one girl. the other girl convinced her it was me so i was forced to skip my next class to clean all of the desks and everything while sobbing heavily because i've never been in trouble before in my life

I've been lucky to not have terrible teachers or subs, except for my first 2nd grade teacher I had. So I always thought growing up that I switched classes because my teacher was too strict, and nothing more than that (it sounded pretty lame tbh but I didn't complain). But I always noticed I was extremely shy as I got older, and for ages I just thought that was just how I was, one day in mid-high school my mom was chatting to her friend and said how my teacher probably treated me really badly when I was there- and I literally stopped talking, signing to my parents with my hands instead of speaking. My parents couldn't find out what happened because I wouldn't talk- but I was getting more and more insecure and they had the principle switch my class.
But yeah, that was weird for me because I had forgotten that entire year- I had vivid memories of First and Third grade but Second grade was like a mysterious black hole, and I never knew why. Which scares me now that I hear that brains will often get rid of memories that are darker or more traumatic. But yeah, it was also weird because I would obliviously wave to that teacher in the hallways years later and she would always ignore me.
So yeah, learning the full story was hard for me cause I had been so hard on myself for having stuttering problems all my life, and finding out it wasn't my fault was somewhat a relief but also kind of frustrating ^^'

also one of my teachers this past year wouldnt even teach us. he'd give us a day to read the chapter then give us the quiz, and after we finished the quiz we had to say our grade out loud and if you got a "bad" grade he'd shame you in front of the class. then five minutes after we told him our grade, he'd have us take notes over what we just took a quiz on. it made no sense

In sixth grade, I had an ELA substitute who screamed the eff word. We never saw her after that, thankfully.

also:
we had a sub in math class and like he's apparently really self inflated in his importance because i got up to get graph paper and he started screaming at me about how disrespectful i was and i was just like "uh.. this isn't your class can u not? i'm about to do the work you've been babbling about for ten minutes and i need this." he made me stay after to talk about how disappointed with my behavior he was and i was like "????????? k gtg"
my first grade teacher sucked too, i don't remember EXACTLY what happened but i do remember getting in a yelling match with her because she wasn't respecting me as a person {i started young}
my preschool teacher was AWFUL okay i was being bullied by this kid, he kept calling me names and i was in tears constantly and when i would come to her she'd tell me "handle it yourself" or "big girls don't act like this" or something of equal self esteem crushing
my fourth grade teacher was also really bad, she would give me low grades on purpose because of a grudge against my father and there was this thing she graded you on, whether you're a leader or a follower, and she put me down as a follower for helping one of my friends do something ????? like does a follower scream at her first grade teacher i think not.

I had a sub for humanities in middle school named Mr. Bang. This guy was tall, had a horrible blond mullet and a pair of star shaped sunglasses. British accent. If he had a guitar it would have completed the look.
He was actually a ok guy though. Everyone was expecting the worst but he sat at on top of the desk and made puns about the documentary we were watching

My substitute in 8th grade left the room one afternoon and then there was chaos. As in my head was almost damaged. I still hate my elementary school class. It's been years, but I hate those kids.

In Grade 3 I accidentally knocked my water bottle off of my desk and my cranky old man French teacher yelled at me in front of the class and gave me detention. I was eight.
He was a mean man, though. I hated him.
EDIT: Just remembered this. My seventh grade teacher took a picture of my cleavage while I was hunched over, doing my work. She took me out into the hallway, showed me it, and explained that it was distracting to the boys in the class. My mom was so mad and called the principle, but they never did anything about it.
She also took away one of my Mad magazine issues, because it had a drawn graphic of different man-boob types, lmao.

There was a terrible sub that I think I managed to get fired once Decided to explain this because I love telling this story. So back in 8th grade, there was this really mean substitute teacher for science and she looked like she just got thawed out of a glacier. Back then I liked to wear these little wolf ears I got from Great Wolf Lodge. I was talking to my friend at my table, when out of nowhere she just walks straight up to me and says "You know, it's hard to not get caught talking with those silly wolf ears of yours." That kind of pissed me off, so I just ignored her and continued talking to my friend. She then said "Did you hear me, young man?" and I just turned with a straight face and said "Yeah, but I don't listen to failures." She actually looked a little surprised before saying "That hurt." I just responded with "Oops, I almost cared." She went back to teaching the class, but she was also really mean to everyone else too. A few minutes into class, when I actually started doing schoolwork, I wasn't even doing anything when she told me to go stand out in the hallway. I was like "What the [CENSORED]? Why?" and all she said was "You know why." It's also worth mentioning I have anger issues, so I was just sitting there with my eyes closed breathing heavily through my nose. Then she decided it was smart to say "You don't scare me, you know." I responded with "I'm not trying to scare you, you stupid [CENSORED]". Then I just stormed out into the hallway even though some of my friends were telling me not to listen to her. Roughly ten more minutes later, I'm standing in the outside the classroom when a few of my friends just bolt out and run down the hallway, explaining to me briefly that they were "sick of her [CENSORED]". Right behind them the teacher was just yelling at them while I was cheering them on. Then it was the end of class, I went back inside to get my stuff, but then the teacher would not let me leave. "Get out of my way" was the only thing I could really think of to say. She refused, saying I can't leave because I didn't finish my work. SHE KICKED ME OUT, HOW COULD I HAVE FINISHED THE WORK? After the fifth time of being denied to go to my other class, I just got sick of it and shoved her into the door. At the end of the day we passed eachother in the hallway, her giving me a death glare, me smiling my rear off. Haven't seen her since. [br She sounds like she was either an unprofessional teacher or actually scared of you. Either way, good job, I wish I could have been there xD

College professor, head of my major's department. He's also the father of one of my friends (though I never knew him personally or even spoke to him before college) so I feel weird about disliking him.
- First off, he was one of those who expected us to know certain things we were never taught and got mad if we didn't know it.
- I was the one who lived the farthest away, and when it got to winter I would often arrive a few minutes late due to conditions and limited parking. One day he said "if you're late again we're not opening the [locked] door". Next day, I try to not be late, and wind up in the ditch (not badly; I was able to get my car out without assistance, and no damage done), and he was looking smug when I arrived until I was like, "Yeah, sorry, I went into the ditch on the way here". For the last week or two before graduation after that he shut up about it.
- During our final presentations to the class at the end of our senior semester, he flat-out told my friend - who was I think triple-majoring and also working 2 jobs, and whose project was not bad - right in front of the whole class that she failed the class and would have to take it the next semester. She started crying - after all, that meant she wouldn't be able to graduate in a few days as planned - and asked if they could talk about it after class, and he said no and made her finish the presentation. The other professors in the department were not happy about it when they heard. The guy is no longer department head, and I wonder if that incident is why.

my fifth grade teacher rlly hated me. in general she was a jerk but i was a noisy kid and i knew that, because it was her first year of teaching and she had had different jobs previously and had no children herself, she just didn't know how to react to such a chatty kid. and some of the stuff i don't blame her for but?? she was overall terrible. once she sent me to the printer room to get her some papers she'd printed. they didn't print so i waited a while, bc if i showed up empty handed she'd be pissed. after a while another kid came who she apparently sent. he wasn't there to check on me, just grab the papers, which were still nonexistent. so we both went back together chatting and i walk into the room and the teacher throws a fit. she somehow forgot not only to print the papers, but that she'd sent me??? and said she had been looking all over for me though other students heard her when she sent me out she didn't believe them and said i'd just left to goof off. which isn't so bad but apparently she had a conference with my parents and told them i'd never do anything right or succeed in life????
once i had a substitute who told us we could sit wherever. so i got up and moved to sit with my friend and she shouted "young man, where do you think you're going?" now im often mistaken for a guy, and i honestly don't care, and usually i don't care enough about what pronouns people use to describe me so i don't always correct them. people also generally get my name wrong, so im used to this kinda stuff. but im confused bc she said we could move?? before i can speak, my friends shouts "hey, she's a girl" and the teacher replies "i know! i can call her whatever i want to call her", basically admitting she misgendered me, not by mistake, but bc i had a pixie cut. this boy gets super pissed bc of this and calls her out and curses at her and she sends him to the office??

My Spanish teacher was fairly bad last year. Constantly inconsistent and always tried to cover up her mistakes rather than admitting to them, and told us to feel free to ask her questions but yelled at us for not paying attention when we did. I hear she also yelled at a dyslexic person in a lower grade (and she was very aware that this girl was dyslexic) for stumbling over words while reading out loud. She was "asked not to come back" this year though.

Uhm, in third grade I had a teacher. I got in trouble in her class a lot. In the year before that, I very rarely got in trouble. In the year after that, I didn't get in trouble very much at all. Me and her did not get along. One day, I was suddenly put in a group for kids who had trouble reading with no warning. I was a very fast reader, and I was doing slightly below average on my A.R. quizzes. She may have just been trying to get rid of me.
In sixth grade, I had multiple panic attacks in the middle of class. One of them my teacher mistook for a temper tantrum.
In seventh grade, I had to move schools in the middle of the school year. My math teacher in the new school assumed that I knew everything in her class. Plus, she was pretty scary. Plus, we had an algebra packet that we were supposed to do over the summer that she never gave us(but she did have a pretty good excuse). In science, my teacher had a cuss word in his name + ton. He kind of talked slowly and added a bunch of "um"s and "uh"s inbetween his words. Things moved very slowly in his class and we were very behind combined to the rest of our classes. I heard he got fired. I have a guess, but I don't really know why.
This year, I have a computer science class. At the beginning of the year, we had no teacher for it. We had a substitute who was French. I liked her. Now, we have a strange red-head who gives me creepy vibes. She makes us do some really hard assignments unrelated to what we are supposed to be doing in that class. One day, I kind of gave up and put my head on the desk for ten or twenty minutes.
