Muchkins are so adorable it like, it hurts. They're basically cat corgies and I love corgies so much. <3
Great Danes can be intimidated but they're like...big goof balls.

Every cat I've ever owned has been a domestic (i.e., a mutt); thus, I don't know a lot of cat 'breeds', per se. My best friend has a Russian Blue, and he's absolutely beautiful; I also know a girl who has a Persian, and he's adorable. I'm pretty impartial as far as cats go, however - "I like the fluffy ones." Dogs, on the other hand... I have been fixated on Shelties (miniatures in particular) for the past four or so years. When my grandmother moved into a nursing facility in the early stages of her Alzheimers, there was a miniature Sheltie that patrolled the place, stopping in every room to visit with and comfort the residents. She knew how to use the elevator by herself, so she frequented each floor. I fell in love. I still want one. Just look how freaking majestic and glorious this is.

I have two Shelties and they are wonderful dogs. Intelligent, loyal, loving and very plush to snuggle with.

I love huskies, German Shepherds, Blue Healers, Border Collies, Dalmatians, Alaskan Malamutes, St. Bernards (and dogs alike) I do not really like little dogs but there are some little dog breeds that I do like; Begals and Corgies. My friend Holly has a black Miniature Schnauzer that I think is pretty cute though. The cat breeds that I like are Norwegian Forest Cats, Bombays, Maine Coons, Siberians and Turkish Vans.

I quite like cat-like cats, but am not so much a fan of dog-like dogs.

I'm not a fan of the majority of dog breeds. A lot of them just look ugly and/or unnatural. And don't even get me started on the huge health issues most of those breeds have.
But, uh, if I have to decide, I'd probably say any type of herding dogs. Australian Cattledogs, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, normal Collies. I especially like Belgian Sheepdogs and Belgian Tervurens. Too bad herding dogs often have severe anxiety issues. Mutts will always be in my heart, honestly.
As for cats, it's kind of the same deal with dog breeds. But I do have a favoritism over longhaired breeds such as Mainecoons, Turkish Angoras, Norwegian Forest Cats, and Ragdolls. But moggies/mutt-cats are still my favorite.
Overall, mutts for everyone.

Norwegian Forest Cats, Bengals, Maine Coons, Somalis, and Nebelungs for cats.
Dogs are so hard to choose. I like most mixed breeds (I had a rottweiler/chow and he was the sweetest and calmest dog ever), as well as Akitas, Alaskan malamutes, Australian Shepards, German Shepards, Great Danes, and Greyhounds.

i love all "sighthound" breeds i.e. greyhounds, borzoi, irish wolfhounds, scottish deerhounds, saluki, whippets, etc. i also really love pugs.
as for cats, i don't really care that much abt cats tbh. i guess the only ones id want are a sphynx or a norwegian forest cat.
