May I claim the non-ballerina, robot character? And should I write up a character description for them as well?

(yes we should do forms. which kind of romance do you want gay, lesbian or straight? also a robot and an android are two entirely different things. Androids are humanoid but robots are not.)

I don't have a preference for the type of romance, but my android character will be male.

Yeah, that sounds good. I'm sorry for the sudden poof, but I did get my character info written up in the meantime.... His name is Felix. I don't have a last name for him yet though, but I guess I can attribute it to him being an android rather than a human. Felix is an android standing at 175.0cm (5'9) and weighing 50.0kg (110lb). He actually is slightly built in stature—by no means terribly muscular, but he some definition to his body—despite his comparatively low weight; engineers chose lightweight and flexible alloys in Felix's creation.
He's designed to the likeness of a man in his early twenties. His skin is very pale—an off-white, slight peach blush. His puffy and slightly wavy brown hair hides a seam stretching between his ears over the top of his head. His eyes are a narrow almond shape, and dark gray in color. His nose slopes out to a pointed tip.
Felix has a particular manner of dress: he wears soft shirts/sweaters and begins piling on layers of outerwear. He particularly likes long jackets and trench coats. In the summer he removes these layers of outerwear and sticks with just the shirt or sweater inside.
Over the few years Felix has been operational, he's developed his personality quite a bit. He more or less is trying to straighten his moral code, and occasionally researches politics to help do so. He's an outspoken individual, always quick to offer his insight into an issue; however, he's also prone to explaining himself in unnecessary depth. He's a very logical person, and his mindset revolves around pros and cons, cause and effect. That said, when it comes to simple decisions with no significant impact on anything, he practically freezes and cannot decide.
As for people he likes, it takes time for him to warm up entirely to anyone. Indeed, Felix can respect and like anyone, but romantically speaking it takes time. He values most importantly trust and honesty in a partner.
Trivia - His favorite color is camouflage green. - He can't taste foods. - He loves nature and being outside. - His weirder hobbies include: knitting, gardening, learning piano, and calligraphy. - He's especially gifted at coding and decoding ciphers. - His (normal) handwriting is in Cursive Comic Sans. - He sucks at singing, but enjoys music (a lot of jazz). - His android model was originally used in the military. - He wants a last name, but can't find one that he likes enough.

Ethan Drake is a 19 year old boy who was always picked on as a kid and as a teenager for his love of ballet. Everyday he would practice ballet and once he got beaten bloody and got a scar over his eye during that beat up. He is 6'1 and weighs 125 lbs. He is usually closed when it comes to talking to people since he never knows if they will betray him or if they will hurt him for being who he is. Once you break past his tough outer shell he is a kind and loyal friend to the end. His normal attire when in ballet is a male ballet outfit with a mint green top and black leggings and black ballet shoes. He has blonde hair and blue eyes as well as having a perfect tan everywhere. He is the example of looking perfect. (although he doesn't brag about it since he feels everyone has their flaws.) His normal outfit is usually a baby blue or mint dress shirt, jeans or dress pants and name brand sneakers or dress shoes.
Trivia: - He loves to cook. He used to wish to be a master chef instead of a male ballerina. - He got a good bit of money when his dad died. Not rich but just comfortable. - He is an only child who's parents died when he was 16 because of horrific car crash that he barely survived. - His best friend betrayed him when he started ballet. - He loves helping people in need and donates any money he can to homeless people.

Yeah, he doesn't know what he's missing! Someone needs to install some kind of taste mechanism into his android brain. Because how can you claim to have lived without ever tasting the wonders of soup noodles? I love soup noodles. (I wonder if an android could eat soup noodles to begin with..... would the water ruin his systems???)

(androids are unlike robots. water doesn't damage them as bad as it would a robot if even. and sure maybe make him 20-21 if you want. and if you wanna change his height you can too.)

Androids don't exist yet, so really anything could happen. Realistically speaking, companies would not market androids if they were so fragile. But in our imaginations—and in fiction—we can make anything occur.
In any case, shall we begin the roleplay? How should we begin?

Ethan was in ballet class doing the thing he loved. The feeling of ballet was so graceful and beautiful, almost as graceful as a swan. Until he began this class his ballet needed major work. Sure he practiced a lot during freetime in high school, this of course made the other kids bully him, being beat up by the football and soccer teams but it didn't slow him down. He would become a male ballerina and would not stop until he got there. Heck one day he may become a Broadway star.
After the class he was about to step outside when the desk manager called him over. He was good friends with her and she used to do Broadway shows and would give him tips on how to preform better and her advice helped. After wishing each other a good rest of the day he set off for home in the pouring rain.

The forecast only predicted a 7% chance of rain.... Felix grumbled mentally, just emerging from a convenience store after wasting money on a flimsy umbrella. If he had been careful enough as to calculate the accuracy of the weather reports, he would have discovered that this particular source was utterly unreliable. But now it was too late, and Felix was left to suffer the consequences: the epic downpour that had already drenched his favorite jacket, rendering it unable to be worn for perhaps the next couple days.
As he took his first step out into the rainstorm, he felt the wind spatter rainwater underneath the umbrella, resoaking his clothes, face, and hair. A sigh. Thankfully the wetness wouldn't affect his health, but it did affect his appearance and his wardrobe options.... Well, Felix could do nothing about it now. He made a mental note to check credibility of weather reports in the future—no, he should be checking credibility of all information he found through internet search engines.
There weren't any people out on the sidewalks today. Felix attributed the dramatic drop in pedestrians to the weather. the street traffic had also greatly increased. Also the weather. But as he kept making his way back to his apartment, he saw another young man—who appeared to be alone as well—walking towards him.
As he gazed at the other pedestrian, he took a quick scan—no more than a few milliseconds of processing—and identified this person as Ethan Drake: ballet student. "Good day," greeted Felix with a polite smile.

( Why don't we start with something really dramatic here? Perhaps one of them almost gets hit by a car or something—it is raining, after all. And it establishes a closer bond between them. It's interesting to write. )

Ethan nodded at the random man. "Hello." He said as he crossed the road. The light was red but a car came barreling through the crosswalk and hitting him. He gasped as the impact happened. He was launch a bit and landed, bleeding and bruised from the car hitting him. He was also out cold and was not breathing. His body limp.

Felix had seen the vehicle going right for the human boy, crashing in at approximately 60mph—way above the legal speed limit—but anyways remained a bystander. He stood still and watched the seconds play out in front of him: the vehicle closing in, Ethan's oblivion until it was too late, and the terrible crash and crack piercing through the ambient rainfall. Ethan lay limp in the middle of the street. Felix stood unmoved a few feet away. A quick analysis of the car, himself, and Ethan concluded that Felix himself would have been hit had he provided aid. And Felix was not a naive altruist.
That said, he wasn't going to let the boy bleed out to his death either. As the car sped away, the android clicked a quick photo of the car plate, and mentally dialed for an ambulance and police. Then he rushed towards the limp body on the street, slinging the boy's right arm over his shoulders and supporting the rest of Ethan's body with his own. Together they went stumbling towards the safety and surety of the sidewalk.
Felix grunted as he set the boy down on a bench under the hood of a shop window. There they were safe from the rain, and Ethan had a more comfortable place to lie down—which brought to question, was he still conscious? Felix knelt down in front of the bench. "Hello. Can you hear me?" he gently prodded. "I've gotten help for you. You might be in a lot of pain, but you will live."
And he was telling the truth. It took a while, but after compiling the last few minutes of breathing and heart rate data concluded that Ethan, although apparently in a less-than-operational state he was perfectly stable. He had no risk of dying, but Felix speculated that this incident could hinder his dance studies.

Ethan did not speak as his chest rattled. His ribs were probably broken and his head had a nasty cut and bruise on it. He was not conscious but he was alive if hardly. He only slightly heard Felix but barely. Thoughts swam through his head as he thought about how his brother would react, how his mother would, he knew he wouldn't be going to prom anytime soon and he wouldn't be able to do ballet for a while. Tears were running down his face with his eyes closed.

( Any ideas where you want this to lead? How should they meet again? At the moment, Felix doesn't really care about Ethan yet; but maybe Ethan begins caring about Felix, since he was saved by him? You can take it from there, I guess. ) Felix stayed there awaiting some form of response. A few moments....and nothing. "I've already called local authorities," he added anyways. "They should arrive any minute now." He glanced at the street suddenly, as if expecting someone to be there. Obviously, no one. But in his periphery he caught sight of a scarf in the display window.
He considered for a moment. That scarf could substitute as a bandage. And even though Ethan's case wasn't particularly severe, seconds counted. And the ambulance was only minutes away. Felix grunted as he stood up. "I'll be back soon." And indeed, Felix quickly returned with a cheap strip of fabric: makeshift first-aid.
He sat down on the bench and let Ethan's head rest in his lap. A minute or two later, Ethan's forehead was already neatly wrapped. "Are you any more awake now?"

As the bandage was applied he winced. The fabric brushing against the wound hurt but it did clear his head once the pounding and the bleeding was stopped for even a moment. "Head...less...fuzzy...." He forced out as he looked up at the man, seemingly in his twenties. "Call...my...brother..." He forced out as he tapped his pocket with his phone in it lightly. If anyone would really care about him it would be his brother. His mom hated him for being into ballet instead of sports.

If anyone would really care about him it would be his brother. His mom hated him for being into ballet instead of sports. Felix obeyed. He reached into Ethan's pocket and pulled out a thin smartphone. Upon first opening it, he was greeted with a lockscreen. He glanced at the boy lying in his lap. The passcode? A scan revealed to Felix Ethan's name, occupation, physical status, blood type, date of birth— Yes, the date of birth! Quickly he tapped in the combination of numbers, and in a few moments he was already calling the boy's brother. Connecting.... Connecting.... In moments like these, Felix wished he'd been more equipped with technological capabilities. Being an android, he could access the internet from his head, he could measure temperature and weight and lengths, he could analyze the physics of dangerous events in the seconds before they occurred—but he couldn't hack into a freaking cell phone! Well, he could always fiddle around with the hardware, but he had no knowledge of even his own mechanics. It was better to keep what he had now, rather than risk shutdown due to accidentally short-circuiting himself. Oh, it connected. "Hello." Felix found himself looking at Ethan while he made the call. "My name is Felix. I'm calling you from Ethan's cell phone to tell you that he's been in a road accident. Fortunately he'll be alright. An ambulance has just arrived to transport him to Robin Riedell Hospital." Then Felix took the phone away from his ear and put the call on speaker. "Ethan's here with me, if you would like to say anything to him." ( you want to play the brother? or shall we skip to when they arrive at the hospital? i didnt have the ambulance arrive but they just got here. )
