Age Chart
Notice: This chart is based off of warriors, actual cat information, and the rp setting. Thus, it is not entirely accurate to real life cats, nor to classic warriors standards- ex, kittens do take longer to open their eyes in reality than warriors, but they are also able to have kittens at around 5 months if female, something not permitted in rp.
You are not required to use this guide but if I feel your characters age is off, I may ask you to look this over.
1 Moon = Approximately 1 Month
12 Moons = Approximately 1 Year

UNDER A YEAR: Newborn - 12 Moons
Newborn: Newborn cats are born with their eyes closed tightly shut. They are very sensitive and need constant care, and cannot see or hear as their ears are also flat on their heads and their hearing is not yet developed. They open their eyes after around a week (7 days to twelve, give or take). It takes around 9 to 14 days for the eyes to be fully open. Their sense of smell is beginning to develop all the while. However, their eyes will be very sensitive at first. By three weeks they should have full hearing, and they will begin socializing and walking, although frequently stumbling, and by four weeks, they shall begin to walk with little problems. Their baby teeth begin to show, and they should be forming stronger bonds and talking besides just babyish mews and purrs.
1 Moon - 2 Moons: By one moon (approx 3-4 weeks) they are actively playing and exploring, but still need protecting and are susceptible to illness. They are still only drinking milk, but by around 5 weeks they can begin eating solid foods. By 6 weeks they are very very active, but need frequent naps and may spontaneously fall asleep. They can begin early hunting and fighting skills, practicing with their litter mates, mossballs, leaves, twigs, as well as learning from their parents and by stalking small animals that get into camp.
3 Moons - 6 Moons: At around four months, kittens usually loose their baby teeth and grow their adult teeth. They are almost out of average kitten-hood and are sometimes allowed to go out of camp with parents and adult supervision for early hunting and tracking lessons, or, in the case of some, swimming and fishing lessons. At six moons they are ready for training and move out of the nursery, changing from "kit" to "paw".
8 Moons: Around eight moons, apprentices will begin taking part in the daily training activities with the warriors.
10 Moons: When they are between the ages of 10-12 moons, they are near the end of their training and will begin taking regular "assessments". The assessments continue until their mentor decides they are ready to take their final. The final assessment is monitored by either another warrior, the deputy, or even the leader. As soon as they pass, they are then given their warrior name! This can be either at 11 or 12 moons.
YOUNG WARRIOR AGES: 12 Moons (1 yr) - 24 Moons (2 yrs)
By 12 moons they should be a warrior. They are allowed to choose mates, have kittens, and participate in general warriors life. Usually cats start their own families at around 19-20 moons, although it differs greatly between cats by their personalities.
As for mentoring, cats are usually not entrusted with apprentices when still within 1 year of age, or until they are experienced or senior warriors, but cats as young as 19 to 20 moons sometimes are given apprentices. Rarely is it any younger, as the cat is still considered a bit too inexperienced.
Medicine cat training usually ends around 12-15 months. They will take their journey to the Moon Caverns to receive their name. They usually go by themselves but their mentors are allowed to join if they wish.
EXPERIENCED/SENIOR WARRIOR AGES: 36 Moons (3 yrs) - 72 Moons (6 yrs)
By this age they can usually entrusted with higher positions and leading patrols.
48 Moons (4 yrs) - Same as above, usually called "senior warriors" by this point, commonly are mentors.
60 Moons (5 yrs) - Same as above. Considered middle aged, getting closer to elder age. Depending on the cat some may retire early, but this is uncommon.
72 Moons (6 yrs) - Usually beginning to get elderly, sometimes retiring at this age, depending on the cat, it is not rare to retire to elder by 70 moons or so.
WARRIOR TO ELDER AGES: 84 Moons (7 yrs) - 120 Moons (10 yrs)
84 Moons (7 yrs) -Sometimes still a warrior, but rarely. More susceptible to illness and weaker.
96 Moons (8 yrs) -Same as above, cats tends to pass away around this age.
108 Moons (9 yrs) -Same as above. Not all cats are dead by 9 years, but it is a little more uncommon.
120 Moons (10 yrs) -Same as above. Very old cats. Can live longer, usually if a kittypet or especially healthy.

Rivermist - 37 moons
Rivermist is a tall and slender silver shecat. Dark grey tabby markings run down the length of her body, curving to make stripe like marks along her legs, tail and over her cheeks. She has a thin stripe of white fur running from her neck to lower chest and her pink nose is framed by more white fur. Her pelt it mostly short but lengthens a little around her neck and sides of her face, and on her tail. Her eyes are pale green. It's hard to tell if Rivermist is brave or just plain stupid but this shecat is always taking risks, whether it's trying to scale the walls of the gorge or hunting dangerous prey. Rivermist rarely backs away from a task or challenge, no matter how hard. This, combined with a competitive streak makes for a reckless but, efficient clan member. Rivermist is generally friendly with her most her clan mates, and is very loyal but she is not afraid to voice her opinion or not follow orders. This can make her come across as arrogant or big headed. Rivermist is very defensive of herself and doesn't like criticism - in the past she has gotten into arguments with clan mates - so she also comes of as stand-offish. Secretly, she is a bit of a romantic and would love to find someone to do all the cute mate things like hunt together or visit nice areas of the clan. Rivermist still has a lot of guilt over her sisters death as she had dared her to climb the cliff she fell of while they were meant to be training. Although she is still as reckless as she was when she was younger she is now a lot more responsible and refuses to let other cats follow her if she decides to do something as she fears hurting others. She took the Suffix Mist when the tribe became a clan in remembrance of her sister who she had been very close to. Mist was the first born and had been named after Rain's mentor, who just so happened to be Gorse's mother. Before her sister's death, Rivermist would have gladly taken another cat on her risky adventures but now she refuses to endanger another cat.

Copperpelt - 30 moons
Gender: Male

Appearance: A well built tom with large paws and a thick fur coat. His fur is light brown with darker brown stripes on his forehead and tail. His back is a gray color and his ears is black with tufts of fur pointing from the tips. He has pale yellow eyes that almost blend into his fur color except when it's night and they glow from the moon light.
Personality: Copperpelt is a clumsy tom who seems to be tripping over his own paws every time he tries to run. He enjoys alone time out in the territory and fighting is more suited for him than hunting. Whenever he tries to hunt it seems as though he's always stepping on twigs and making some sort of noise to scare off prey. Even though he's such a big cat, he's intimated by others and usually stammers while he talks. He is shy and becomes flustered by she-cats quite easily. Copperpelt is just a big furball with a big heart and a lot of love to give.

Appearance: A slender she-cat with long black fur that is longer on her neck and chest area that almost looks like a mane. Her pelt is mixed with white fur and the most white on her body is the mane on her neck. She has big ears that are rounded and have tufts of fur on the tips. Her eyes are deep blue that glows with care for her clan.
Personality: Ebonyfire is a gentle soul who wants to help her clan mates as much as she can even if it's a secret. She is usually seen beside the elders den or nursery in case anyone needs her help. Queens, kits, and elders have a soft spot in her since she believes they're important for the clan. She has a big heart and a gentle soul that helps her live life as if everyone is a kit to her. Ebonyfire does has the tendency to help others even though they may be a rogue or someone that shouldn't be trusted due to the fact she can't tell if someone is lying. It is easy to make her upset if she has failed someone or if a clan mate dies in any way.

Appearance: The body of the tom is skinny with thick pitch black fur and long legs that help him move fast among the territory. Cats usually think he is weak due to his small figure, but they don't know that it helps him move quickly and easily away from attacks. His eyes are crystal blue that are intense most of the time when he watches the other cats in the camp.
Personality: Crowpaw is usually by himself and can be quite irritable around warriors who treat him like a kit still. He enjoys showing off to the other apprentices and if anyone tries to pick a fight with him, he would gladly fight back. His attitude is sour and sensitive due to the fact his parents left him at the base of the mountain as a kit without ever coming back. Crowpaw has tried to cover his broken heart with his anger, but it has made him more isolated with the clan. Deep down he wishes for a friend and someone to be happy with.

Appearance: A pure white she-cat with a small body and gentle fur that gets ruffled easily. She has bright yellow eyes that are noticeable with her white pelt.

She tries her best to keep their memory alive by training hard and hoping to become a warrior they would be proud of. It hurts when she watches other families together and prays that one day she can have her own family. She is a kind cat who is friendly and makes friends easily with her easy going personality.

Personality: Blunt and rude, he has very little patience when it comes to cats with certain injuries. He loves to see drama and fighting between clan mates but never is one to start anything. He speaks in a low cocky yet raspy tone. Despite his smug demeanor, he is a very skilled medicine cat as he has great memory and knows how to grow all kinds of herbs. He’s also known for making strange mixtures with the berries and creating unique paste like medicine for cats to eat. He is a messy cat, his den is always scattered with herbs and cobwebs, however according to him, there’s a method to his madness. Don’t touch his herbs! He has a habit of chewing on catnip to calm his nerves and to keep him from yelling at the younger cats.
Family: Mother was Blacknose and Father was Hawkeye, his dead littermates were Grasskit, Meadowkit, and Palekit.
History: Born in the plains and named after the grackles that lived there. Gracklefur’s parents were born in the desert, after they gave birth to him and his litter-mates, there was a drought that ended up killed them both. His littermates one by one all died off from a deadly green cough that plagued the clan. This may have been the reason for becoming a medicine cat.
Other: If anyone needs the medicine cat and I’m gone, they can use him but only for healing.

Because he was born in the tribe, his parents and siblings would have tribe names unless he named them after becoming Sunclan.
Also I forgot to mention but because the medicine cat was always the Queen, I imagine he was appointed by the spirits in a sign after the avalanche as was granted knowledge that he'd need to help the ones injured while waiting for rescue. Is that ok?
Please add what I promise not to do and pick an option. It makes it easier on me

He is a large long-haired black tom with light grey tabby markings. A large white marking covers most of him as it begins at his chin and snakes it way under his stomach and to the end of underneath his long fluffy tail. Deep blue eyes seem to haunt his rather dark face causing them to pop out more than they usually would. Aside from his haunting eyes this tom has set of large scars across his throat and the front of his chest from when he was a young warrior. Deep V's are missing from both of his ears. Along with the v's missing from his ears, Smokethorn is completely deaf in his left ear causing him to keep his left side from others. Due to the lack of hearing in his left ear his speech is slightly off causing his normally deep voice to sound slightly askew. Smokethorn doesn't let his hearing loss stop him from being an excellent warrior. He uses his long and very strong legs to easily climb and run after prey.
Smokethorn is a very insecure warrior, constantly fearing he isn't good enough for his clan and if he is actually worthy of staying. He is stoic and tries not to let his emotions slip, as he fears judgement for not looking strong. Due to his hearing loss he constantly keeps his left ear pinned to his head or constantly has it twitching. Once Smokethorn decides to open up he is very loving and constantly jokes.

Appearance: Heathernose has ginger and orange fur with tabby markings. She has a white mouth, chest and paws. Heathernose has a little bit of white on her tail. She has pale green eyes. Heathernose has a slender looking build with a few scars on her flank on left leg.
Personality: Heathernose is a level headed and observant cat. She is a social cat and doesn't mind making new friends. Heathernose switches between being witty and sarcastic She is loyal and will not hesitate to help her friends and clanmates. She is self conscious of her looks and will second guess herself. Heathernose is a romantic though she is afraid to give her heart to someone again. Heathernose has these moments where she can be cold and uncaring of others. Heathernose loves to run, jump and to climb. She isn't fond of swimming and dislikes when it rains.

Kits: None
Relationships: Sky (Mother) and Thrush (Father) Open for siblings. Raptor (ex mate)
History: Heathernose was born and raised in the tribe. Even as a kit, Heathernose was the mature and logical one of her siblings. However, she still got into plenty of trouble. At one point, she fell head over heels in love with a handsome rogue. He joined the tribe for a while and for a time they became mates. However the tom ended up breaking up with Heathernose and joined up with another wandering group of cats. The break up was hard one Heathernose and she still wonders if she did something wrong or if she wasn't pretty enough.
Other: She is a skilled hunter and is still working on becoming a better fighter. Heathernose holds on to the hope that she will find a mate who will love her.

Appearance: Jaggedtalon has longhair that sticks out in all directions. He has light brown fur with tabby stripes. Jaggedtalon has light green eyes He has a muscular looking build. He is a little bit being a Main Coon and Domestic Shorthair mix. He has a baritone voice.
Personality: Jaggedtalon is a fearless and bold tom. He is the type to jump headfirst into danger. He is rather reckless and has a bit of a temper. He likes to show off, and improve his battle techniques. Jaggedtalon likes to try and come up with new moves. He is a passionate and fiery tom when he gets worked up or when he is talking about things he loved. Jaggedtalon is a bit sensitive though he will deny it. He has a soft spot for kits and apprentices and likes to play fight with them. Jaggedtalon has a certain disdain for kittypets. He doesn't like eating frogs, lizards and certain types of fish. He likes to show off and flirt with she-cats.

Relationships: Tiger (Father) and Luna. Open for siblings, rivals and crushes. (If anyone wants to rp his parents go ahead)
History: Jaggedtalon was born and raised in the tribe. He was named because his fur always stuck out and that caused him to be teased a lot. For a time, he tried to ignore the teasing until he finally he lashed out and attacked one of the bullies. He got in a lot of trouble, but that stopped the teasing. He still doesn't like it when cats point out his fur. Jaggedtalon puts up this tough front so that he won't get hurt again.

Appearance: Hollowpaw has light blue gray fur with some darker gray mixed in. He has pretty green eyes and a skinny yet somewhat athletic build. Hollowpaw has a triangular looking face. He is a little smaller than most Russian Blues.
Personality: Hollowpaw is a reserved and kind tom. He is shy and takes a while to warm up to new cats. Hollowpaw doesn't like change and has trouble adjusting to new things. The journey has been a little hard on him. He can be a bit whiny and startles easily. He wants to change but he is unsure how. He is the type to go with the flow and likes to play. Hollowpaw has mild anxiety and suffers from nightmares. Hollowpaw likes to climb and go hunting for birds. He likes to collect their feathers as well. He has a fear of thunder and large predators.

Relationships: Family, distinct friendships, etc.. Unknown Father Yew (Mother) Open for siblings, friends and possibly mother figure
History: Hollowpaw was the youngest and weakest of his litter. For a time, cats wondered if he was going to survive. Hollowpaw managed to pull through despite the others. His mother preferred his siblings which led to Hollowpaw seeking another motherly figure.

Rosespark is short-haired almost chocolate brown tabby she-cat with deep brown points. Despite being a tabby, her stripes are barley visible except in the right light. White markings cover her chest, tips of her ears, and small dots just above her eyes. She has light green eyes that many say she got from her mother. A couple scars cover her rear right leg, causing her a small limp that grows worse as it gets colder out. A large V is missing from her left ear from an argument with her brother. Rosespark is a well built, average sized she-cat with most of the power being in her long legs much like her brother.
Rosespark is a very stubborn and loud she-cat, not afraid of being seen as annoying or rude. The she-cat does however fear how others treat her brother because he is different. She is very protective, and despite him being much larger than her she always puts himself in front of him in a fight. She does have a very caring side that often comes out when she deals with those younger than her or those who are simply weaker. Due to her being so worried about her brother she often follows him around or at least keeps him in her sights as if he was still a kit. Rosespark is a lesbian, but doesn't fear judgment for it.
