I usually prefer short character forms, just so we know what we're working with, but it's totally up to you! if you're like to skip past those, that's fine. other than that, I think figuring out a starting point and general direction would be good, just so we can keep things moving better

no worries, I tend to keep mine short anyway. just a reference for looks and the basics for personality so I can get a feel for what the dynamic might turn out to be (not that things ever turn out as I expect lmao) is more than enough!
well, my character was going to apprentice under yours, right? we could start with them meeting somehow, unless they already know one another? or we could start with him somehow learning what he can do (bc I assume he must be some sort of magic used himself if he needs her to teach him). that would require you maybe using a side character for a few pages while he figures out what to do and how to get to her, though, so it's up to you. or if you have any other ideas, I'm all ears
