(Oh boy XD H Now I see the cats fighting the monkeys anime like XD)
"Next time watch the wind and your position." Leopardhawk took this time to playfully swat at Foxpaw. "If you aren't to tired, you could try hunting something else and this time getting it on the first leap." She was being playful but still acting like a mentor.

{ c a s h e w p a w } w/ orchidpool camp Cashewpaw was about to make his way towards the warrior's den in search of Orchidpool, who he had grown concerned over. She usually wasn't the type to oversleep, at least that's what he had figured out in his short moons while training with the she-cat. As soon as he whipped around, the white tabby was standing right behind him, appearing frantic while she meowed. His icy blue eyes flickered in surprise. "Orchidpool! I was just going to look for you in the warrior's den," he mewed, letting out a sigh of relief. At least she was here now. That's all that mattered, right? "It's nothing to apologize for, don't worry about it."
A short mrrow of amusement rumbled in the young tom's throat before he spoke again. "Actually, I haven't been waiting long at all. I woke up late too."
The multi-colored apprentice became distracted yet again due to several cats gathering with their mentors or other warriors. It seemed that another set of patrols were heading out which wasn't his favorite thing to do. Hopefully Orchidpool wouldn't ask for them to join. If she did, he would try to deal with it, but he wasn't going to be pleased about it. coding by officialrainleafwcf

"You're right," Foxpaw readily agreed; her own short-sightedness was what almost cost her the rabbit. She made a mental note that the wind was important factor when it came to stealth. Her fur ruffled as she imagined the rabbit being a predator; she could have easily been the prey in something else's belly right now. "Of course I'm not too tired for that," the apprentice boasted and jumped up to her paws once again. She took off, this time in search of a nearby mouse.

"The herbs..." Tortoisepaw murmured with a frown. There was only one left...what a waste. She cautiously approached the tree line and listened but it seemed as if the monkey had disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. "What could it what with those...?" So odd. And now they would have to tell a warrior, or worse, Crocodileblood, what had happened. This day took a sharp turn. "Is everyone okay?" the apprentice asked, gently licking at the scratch the monkey had left on her shoulder.
--
"Me either... they're strong alone but together..." Porcupinepelt shuddered at the thought. Monkey usually didn't go out of their way to fight cats but they could get aggressive if they felt like it. He would rather try to fight Crococdileblod in the arena than deal with a bunch of monkeys. And he was really terrified of ever fighting Crocodileblood. He'd tear him to pieces in seconds. "What should we do now, Twistedivy?"

The crippled tom's eyes remained narrowed. They could investigate further, but it was risky. The smart move would be to return to camp and report it. He didn't want the chance of seeming weak though. He took a deep breath and pushed himself forward. "Come on."

Vanillapaw started into the forest one last time, then sighed and turned to her friends. “I hope so... we can try.” She felt awful for letting the herbs get stolen, and Tortoisepaw and Jasminepaw hurt. From the way the matter apprentice was talking, she hadn’t broken anything and would be fine, and the other simply had a scratch. Nonetheless she asked, “Are you guys okay?” before sniffing them both. When she was done she grabbed the one stalk turmeric off the rock. “Maybe someone is really sick...” she said with a frown toward where the monkey left. She knew she shouldn’t be feeling bad for them, but the thought nagged at her.

{ orchidpool - wildclan camp - Sand }
“At least I’m not the only late riser,” Orchidpool purred, giving her fur a shake. She hadn’t had time to groom herself and it showed; her normally sleek, white tabby fur was now ruffled and messy from her nest. Not that she really minded; she could deal with it later. The warrior followed Cashewpaw’s gaze to where cats were gathering to arrange patrols. She noticed his look of distaste at the warriors; Orchidpool knew her apprentice didn’t enjoy doing patrol work. She nodded to herself, then turned back to Cashewpaw. “I was planning on going patrolling this morning,” she began, blue eyes watching for the apprentice’s reaction. “But,” she continued, “We can save that for another time. Today we’ll do some battle training, then maybe go hunting.” Orchidpool’s eyes then became stern as she spoke, “We will have to patrol tomorrow, since we’ve been missing out on them lately.”{ cinnamonpaw - wildclan camp - Darkηesque }
Relief flooded Cinnamonpaw’s eyes when his mentor gave him permission to continue eating. He glanced down at the mouse eagerly as he wished to eat it, but he didn’t want to seem rude in front of Cloudchaser. Cinnamonpaw looked back up at the large tom, trying not to be distracted by the mouse below him. The red-brown tom felt a little disappointed at the fact they would have to go out and do something this morning. He was hoping to go back to his nest and sleep for awhile, catching up on what he’s lost. Though he did understand why they were going; Cloudchaser was lenient but still wanted his apprentice to work hard. “Ok. I understand,” Cinnamonpaw mewed, catching his mentor’s half-frown. It made him feel a little better that the elder cat didn’t want to do anything either; Cinnamonpaw guessed it was due to Cloudchaser’s thick pelt. Watching the fluffy tom grumble about his fur made the short-haired cat feel grateful for what he had.

Leopardhawk waits for a moment before leaping forward and pouncing on the bird. She snaps the bird's neck.

The apprentice crouched low and prowled through the forest, heading after the mouse, but once she reached the spot where it was strongest... There was no mouse. The furry little creature had already crawled back into its hole. Foxpaw sighed and rose to her paws, scenting the air to try and find something else to catch. Leopardhawk would be disappointed in her if she didn't. Fortunately, a hedgehog scurried by, unaware of the apprentice as she stood still. The ginger she-cat's heart leaped into her chest and she waited a moment. When she was sure the hedgehog wouldn't be able to tell, Foxpaw pounced, knocking the prey onto its back with a paw. She nipped its throat to break its neck and avoid the spines. But her paw wasn't so lucky. A hedgehog spine was caught in the pad and she hissed in frustration.

Tarantulapaw was lazing by the freshkill pile. It was so humid, it was hard to breathe. Hard to do anything, really. He despised the wet season. Though he really didn't want to, he was getting bored and ought to find his mentor before they did first. "Oy, where's Aloeheart?" The fuzzy Tom said aloud to no one in particular.

{ t e a k t u f t } with crocodileblood camp Teaktuft knew that Crocodileblood was right; if the clan didn't hunt, they wouldn't eat. Being lazy and lying about like logs wasn't productive for it crushed the opportunities they had to catch prey so each cat could have a decent meal every day. "I agree," she mewed curtly, watching the leader huff with a shrug. With laziness came frustration and she wasn't too surprised if it was bothering the cream tabby tom.
The guard's ears flicked while he spoke before she scoured the camp carefully, doing her best to find any other cats that were about. She soon spotted Tarantulapaw, who was speaking aloud to anyone who was around the clearing. "Tarantulapaw?" she suggested, "Aloeheart could tag along since she's his mentor. Do you have anyone in mind?" coding by officialrainleafwcf

{ t h y m e p u r r} with duckthorn camp Unlike Duckthorn, Thymepurr was not fond of someone trying to retaliate; it infuriated her to no end because she knew that it would go on longer than she anticipated. But that's what she got when she decided to snap at the tom before her. He was sassier than most which made her skin crawl. However, she was dedicated to beating him at his own game. It wasn't like she had better plans anyways.
"You wouldn't stand a chance against a cobra or a viper," the blue point Siamese hissed. "They'd have your neck within seconds, Duckthorn. You're too small to escape any animal, anyways. No wonder you're not fond of patrols!"
The warrior couldn't help but snicker at her denmate when he tried to make himself look bigger by puffing while meowing. "You know, hiding and running are very different," Thymepurr pointed out before continuing. "Those who can hide are stealthy, but those who run? Cowards. Just like you, Duckthorn."

{ c a s h e w p a w } w/ orchidpool camp Cashewpaw was grateful to have Orchidpool as his mentor. She was thoughtful and considerate when it came to any parts of his training which made him feel right at home. His gaze may have held distaste for the warriors, but it didn't mean the tom disliked them like he did with patrolling. Going on a patrol was not only a lot of work but it required him to be in a large group of cats which was one thing he did his best to avoid. Unfortunately, the more he avoided it, the longer he would be behind on his patrol work and that was another fear of his.
Once the white tabby mentioned she was going to put them on a patrol, his face sunk and his ears almost flattened against his skull before popping up when Orchidpool mentioned battle training. Much better! He didn't mind battle training and a small hunt; it outdid a patrol in his mind, so he was quite pleased with his mentor's new idea.
"Really, Orchidpool? Thank you!" he exclaimed before nodding appreciatively at the she-cat. "I'll be up and early for the patrol tomorrow, I promise; no need to worry about me. Are we heading off now?"
The multi-colored feline was curious about their adventures today. Would they eat before they left camp to practice some battle moves and hunt or would they cut to the chase? Cashewpaw groomed his chest fur eagerly, awaiting the ruffled white tabby's instructions.

Crocodileblood locked onto Duriantail and he nodded in the tom's direction before calling him over, along with Aloeheart and Tarantulapaw. "I want to send out another hunting patrol too, if you could gather them quickly and send them off?" he asked Teaktuft as they waited for their chosen cats to gather. Since Twistedivy was already busy, he needed someone else to help him split up the labor. "I want Mallowsky, Falconfrost, Tamarindfur, and Sootstrike to hunt along the Caved Ruin, we'll take the Temple Ruins."
"Quit yelling." a voice scolded Tarantulapaw as she approached, her tongue swiping over her muzzle. He couldn't even wait for her food. Just as she about to give him some chores to do, her ears pricked at the sound of her name. "Lucky you, we get to go on a patrol today. I was going to have you clean moss." she teased as she nudged the apprentice up and towards Crocodileblood's group.
--
"I knew you had a sense of adventure!" Porcupinepelt teased as they got back to camp. Normally, Orangeblossom was so nervous that everyone thought she would faint at the first sign of trouble. It was nice to see her curious about something. He turned to Twistedivy with a frown, thinking about the noises they heard in the marsh. "Are you going to tell Crocodileblood about the noises?" he asked in hushed tones to avoid being heard.
--
"Maybe...either way, we should go home." Tortoisepaw murmured, the fur bristled along her spine finally settling. No one was hurt and all they lost was some herbs. It was the wet season, more would grow. Everything was okay. "We can try to gather some more herbs along the way...and figure out what to tell Mintsong and Crocodileblood..." she muttered with a frown. She sighed and shook the water from her pelt.
((And I'll I have free after this is Cobwebfur if anyone needs her.))

Vanillapaw nodded, then moved to see if Jasminepaw needed help getting up. “Are you alright?” she asked again, setting the herbs down. She didn’t want to keep Mintsong any loner. And Tortoisepaw was right; there were bound to be more herbs out there on the way back.

... ↪ • Cloudchaser w/ Cinnamonpaw -- While his apprentice finished eating, Cloudchaser had some time to think about what to do together. Certainly training of some sort was in order. Sparring would be very tiring. Hunting lesser so but he was sure some actual hunting parties would be sent out. Though he had yet to see one leave this morning.
Cloudchaser licked around his chest fur in an effort to cool off a little. "Maybe a couple other cats may want to join us in a fighting session? Need to get all the practice in that you can before you head into the arena," he suggested, licking his paw now and running it over his ears. WildClan was known for its brawls.
--
• Duckthorn w/ Thymepurr -- There was a pause. Duckthorn was actually stunned with a twisted-up, angry face as he actually tried to figure out her logic, but it was impossible. Everything she spat was such a poor comeback and he was no longer entertained. His face fell with boredom though he was still pretty riled on the inside.
"Small escapes easier and hiding is also cowardly, but go off I guess," he growled. Duckthorn didn't even have the heart to keep going because Thymepurr was so nonsensical, but the way she said it was more rude than snarky. If he retreated though, he knew he wouldn't hear the end of it from her.
"Really I figured if we teamed up to leave camp together, we could do nothing but it'd be more believable that perhaps we did hunt," Duckthorn admitted but then he was already stalking away from her anyway, his tail whipping around to show his irritation. It's not like they would actually have to stick around and hang out.

{ orchidpool - wildclan camp - Sand }
The white tabby was amused by her apprentice’s enthusiasm over not patrolling. Orchidpool herself actually enjoyed patrolling; it gave her the opportunity to get out of the camp and just enjoy the nature around her. However, since Cashewpaw became her apprentice, Orchidpool was going on less patrols and taking him out to train very frequently. She missed patrolling, but she enjoyed working with her apprentice just as much. Cashewpaw was a great listener and a fast learner, which pleased the warrior. She was glad to have the tom as her apprentice.
Orchidpool thought for a moment, deciding what order they would perform the tasks she’d laid out. Since the Clan had a (silly) rule about apprentices having to eat after their chores, the pale-furred feline decided they would train first. She would also not eat until they were finished, to make it more fair. Then they would hunt, enough to return to the camp and also eat after everything was said and done.
“First, we’ll train,” began the warrior, noticing Cloudchaser with Cinnamonpaw nearby. “Then we’ll hunt, return some of the prey, and then eat. Sorry that we’ll have to wait to eat, that’s just how it is.” She looked back at the multi-colored tom and asked, “How about we see if Cloudchaser and Cinnamonpaw want to join us?”

{ mallowsky - wildclan camp - everyone }
Having woken up early and taken her daily stroll through the jungle, Mallowsky had already eaten and was grooming herself below a low-hanging bush. Her blue eyes were narrow with contentment, enjoying herself and in no mood to get up and move. Unfortunately for her, the Siamese warrior had just been called to patrol with a few other cats.
Mallowsky nearly groaned aloud as she slowly and deliberately stood, giving a drawn-out stretch and dramatic yawn before padding nonchalantly over to her group Crocodileblood had brought together. She had this bland look on her face; as if she was too bothered to do anything. The truth was, Mallowsky wasn’t very tired at all - just lazy and selfish. It was rather ridiculous (and Mallowsky knew it), but she didn’t really care if others became annoyed with her. She just wanted to get the patrol over with.

{ cinnamonpaw - wildclan camp - Darkηesque }
As soon as Cinnamonpaw finished scarfing down his meal, he sat up and gazed around. He had listened to what his mentor had said about finding a group to brawl with and was now looking for any possibilities. His heart sunk a little when he found nothing, but then his gaze landed on Orchidpool and Cashewpaw. His amber eyes brightened and he turned to Cloudchaser.
“What about asking Orchidpool and Cashewpaw?” He queried, swiping his tongue over his jaws. He liked Cashewpaw well enough, even though they didn’t chat very much. His fellow apprentice wasn’t as sociable as he, which was a little frustrating to Cinnamonpaw. As for Orchidpool; he’d never really talked to her. The she-cat seemed mysterious and unapproachable, though her apprentice seemed to like her.

Vanillapaw giggled, feeling her fur grow hot, forgetting what had happened for a moment. Then she shook her head to Jasminepaw as she moved away. “It’s not your fault. We all agreed to go to the beach, and we had our eyes on the herbs the whole time.” She glanced with a huff at the forest. “It’s that monkey’s fault.” The brown-and-white she-cat picked up the turmeric and, after making sure Jasminepaw could walk, started walking in the direction of camp.
