Ok, I don't mean to be rude but why exactly do some adults like my little pony? I tried to watch it, but I just don't see why so many people watch it. Please educate me on why it's popular. (But please don't start a war on why you hate it or or why I'm the worst person ever)

Eh, most people just like it. People thought it was good, so they liked it.

I watched the first season. It felt like a regular cartoon, so there was a bit of nostalgia for me? Idek. It wasn't too kiddy. I don't watch it anymore, and haven't beyond season 1 and half of season 2 I believe.

I never knew that its popularity died down...but I think ppl liked it because it was colorful? IDK I never had a problem with adults liking it...unless they turned it sexual

Well, why do people like SU? Many of those reason apply to MLP. MLP has a diverse and colorful cast, great animation, awesome morals, and great storytelling. The community has always been closely knit, and the staff communicates with their fans. I started watching at 17 years of age for those reasons, and I don't regret it. At least, that is why I, a grown 20 year old, watches colorful ponies.

This college peep (me) still likes MLP because books are involved. xDD It's just pretty cool, I guess? I'm not too obsessed with it like years ago. I watch it every once in a great while.

It's cute and isn't condescending or stupid like a lot of kids shows. It also has themes relatable to any age group. I like it, but it was mostly popular from like 2011-2013. Personally, I stay away from online MLP communities because the cloppers (people sexualizing cartoon ponies and leaving pics and fics on the internet where children can see WITH NO WARNING) turned me off from it really.
