The Invasion!

Family's looked around horrified. Trees were being burnt to the ground and fiery flames flickered in the sky. People began screaming running, but some were frozen in place. The dark shapes loomed overhead towering above the cities skyscrapers. "Were coming for you" the shadows whispered. "Were-" BEEP BEEP BEEP! Noah rolled his head to the side and saw his phone going crazy. He paused his favourite horror/sci-fi movie and picked up his phone with a sigh. "Y-ellow?" he said into the phone. "Buddy you gotta get over here" the voice from the other end said excitedly. "Mate! I'm watching The-"
"Seriously dude Emma's already here" Noah rolled his eyes. "Fine I'll be there in a sec!" he turned off the T.V and yelled out to his mum "I'm going out!" before realising she wasn't here. She was on her stupid date with Jeff her stupid boyfriend. He grabbed his keys and threw on a jacket before jumping into his truck and driving a few minutes away to an abandoned looking shed. There only sign of life was the lights coming from inside. Noah jumped out of his truck and locked it before making his way over the shed and throwing the timber door open. "Hey my man!" A dude with short kind of curly black hair, round black glasses and dark skin walked up to him and greeted him with a handshake. "Hey Liam" Noah smiled ta him. Liam quickly gestured to a girl leaning against the shed wall. "Hey" Noah smiled at her. She had chocolate/blue (I'm not sure yet) eyes and long orange hair. "Hey" the girl looked up at him and Noah's heart leapt. Noah turned back to his friend "So what's up?" Liam lead him around to a table in the center of the shed. He pointed to it and Noah gasped. It was a map, a map of space with all the twinkling stars of the universe. That though wasn't what Noah looked at. "It's them..." he whispered pointing to a white dot that was moving on the map. "I know!" Liam said jogging over to him. The girl came over to. "And look where they are moving to" Noah followed Liam's gaze right to earth. The planted the were living on. "Liam that's not good-"
"I know I know" Liam cut in "That's what Emma said but-"
"But what!?!?!" Emma now cut in. "Will it be cool to see aliens?"
"Uh yeah" Liam smiled. Noah and Emma just stared at him. A split second later the ground started shaking and the group were thrown sidewards. "EARTHQUAKE!" Liam yelled. Noah managed to crawl over to the wobbling table and stared at the map. "Liam!" Emma stared at him "It's not a damn earthquake!"
"OF COURSE IT IS!"
"NO!" Noah cut in drawing his eyes away from the map and crawling over to the others.
"She's right...there here. The aliens are here."

"That's it your doing great" Michael nodded at the teenager sitting in the seat beside him. Their plane whizzed through the air. "Woo!" the teenager smiled. "Don't get to excited Antonio, you've been lucky with the weather"
The Latino boy nodded. Suddenly a rumbling noise filled the air. "What's that?" Antonio trembled. "Umm" Michael brushed his hand through his hair. "Maybe we should land, look for the safest place" but they were above the clouds and could hardly see the ground. Antonio managed to bring the plane below the clouds and gasped. The towns, the cities on fire. Everything burning, people dying and...an alien spaceship? "LOOK OUT!" Michael cried as a large what seemed to be oversized UFO sped towards them but it was to late. The plane and spaceship collided and the plane was sent tumbling to the ground.
(These guys aren't really main characters I was just bored so...)

Noah coughed. The rumbling had stopped. The aliens were gone. Everything was okay. Except that a big piece of timber was sitting on his back and squashing him (possibly) to death. There gone... he thought They moved on their bored of playing with Texas. Another coughing sound startled him "Liam? Noah?" someone sputtered. "EMMA!" Noah called out ignoring the throbbing pain in his chest. "Where are you?" the girl asked. "Being squashed" he replied. He didn't know how long he'd been laying there. Possibly hours, he was guessing he was unconscious. Slowly he felt the timber sliding off him. "OWW!" Emma yelled. She'd done good enough for Noah to roll out. "Are you ok?" He asked her. "Yes I'm fine" she motioned to a cut on her hand. "Where's Liam?" he asked. "I'm not sure..." Emma replied. "Wait what's that?" Noah ran over to some ruins of the clubhouse. A sneaker sat there, it was red but you could hardly tell with all the dirt on it. "It's Liam's!" Emma gasped holding her hands over his mouth. "LAIM!" they both yelled out. no reply. "I...I think" Noah trailed off. "What?"
"I think Noah's been abducted by aliens"

(Sorry I meant "I think Liam's been abducted)

Liam sat up an was shocked to see that he was being watched by a ghastly figure. "W-Where am I?"

"What are you doing?" he asked as an alien crept closer, the alien tilted it's head at him. Liam looked up as the alien lent over the makeshift bed he was laying on. The alien lent in closer inspecting him.


Emma paced slowly along the creek. "I can't believe it!" she cried. The pair had moved down to the creek not to far away from their smashed clubhouse where they thought it would be safer. "Calm it Emma, it's okay we'll get him back!" Noah nodded to himself and winced as a piece of bark from the log he was sitting on dug into him. "Noah but what if he's gone what if we can't get him back!" Emma held her hands to her head. "Liam's smart he can get out of wherever he is himself" Noah said confidently. But he wasn't so sure. In every movie on aliens he had ever watched someone died. Multiple people many many people. "Noah you don't understand Liam was like a brother to me!" Emma winced. "HE WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO ME TO!" Noah shouted "AND A BEST FRIEND!" Emma stood there in silence for a minute avoiding Noah's gaze. "Come on let' set up some sort of camp" Noah began picking up some sticks. "We can't make a fire that will attract them" Emma hissed. Noah frowned. she was right. "Well what if we built a camp?" Noah suggested "A tent out of sticks?"
Emma looked up at the sun that was slowly setting and shook her head. "We won't get it done and it's supposed to rain" she informed him. "THEN LET"S GO FIND SHELTED!" Noah yelled. "FINE!" Emma shot back.

Screaming, death, unimaginable pain. The world had never experienced things like this.

Noah and Emma were huddled in a little shed the aliens hadn't bothered to destroy. Emma was shivering, and Noah was frowning. "I don't know how to get him back" Noah yelled slamming his fists on the timber that made the walls of the shed. Emma looked up at him from where she was sitting. "Could we focus on staying alive?" Emma spat. Noah looked at her, who knew a attractive female could be so...feisty? "So staying alive is more important then finding Liam?" Noah asked but immediately regretted it. "Well if were dead how do we save Liam? And how do we know he's not already dead?"

Just the thought made Noah shiver. Liam had been his best friend forever, he couldn't live without him. A tear dripped out of Emma's eye and Noah glared at her. "Why is he so important to you?" Noah growled. "You don't know anything about us!" Emma yelled standing up. That was true. Noah had only just met Emma about a week before the invasion. He knew nothing about her past with Liam only that she was a 'close friend'

Emma stood staring at Noah excepting him to say something. "We can't save him if we can't work together!" Emma brushed the tear away from her face. "I don't need you!" Noah screamed "I can save Liam by myself!" Emma looked up at him, turned and ran out of the shed. "EMMA!" Noah yelled "WAIT!" But she was already gone.

The alien toward above her, hissing. Emma eyes widened. The alien was grey and had black pools of nothing for eyes. It held some sort of ancient looking gun in it's hand. Emma wiped away the tears from her eyes. Oh No! What if it captures me and takes me back to its ship? Noah would be all alone and I... Emma blinked a few times "What if Liam's there?" she asked the alien. The alien titled it's head and walked behind her pointing its gun at her back. "Powerful human life source detected" it said in a robot like voice. Emma bit her lip, but let the alien escort her to its spaceship.
