Are RPs allowed to ban LGBT characters?

Because keeping up ten different arguments with a bunch of different people is exhausting, I’m just going to try and address as much as I can here.
First, “You’re just repeating your points over and over”: this is what everyone is doing. All I’ve seen are the same points being repeated with more people jumping in to tell me the same thing that has already been said. Claiming this is an echo chamber while you’re repeating the same things five other people have already said is pretty ironic.
-“It’s not realistic”: barely anything in Warriors is realistic. If an RP bans LGBT characters but keeps StarClan, medicine cats, and ANY romances (cats don’t have long term monogamous relationships!), they do not really care about realism and are using realism as an excuse for banning it.
-“It doesn’t happen in the books”: if someone is working with a fan clan or plot lines not ever used in the series, then they’re using this as an excuse to ban LGBT characters. Don’t do anything original if you think “didn’t happen in the books” is a real reason to tell people they can’t have LGBT characters.
-“Banning LGBT bans is discrimination”: no, it isn’t. Anti discrimination policies are just not discrimination. If the staff claim that discrimination is not allowed on here, they should not allow people to continue to restrict LGBT characters and content from their spaces. Either stick to the rule that no discrimination is allowed, or chuck it out altogether.
-“The staff made a decision on it and aren’t going to change it just because you’re complaining”: no, they didn’t, as Sand mentioned above and has told me through PM. From what they have told me over messages, there was never an official rule made and they plan to discuss this with staff and come to an official decision. I’m going to continue to question and challenge the fact that these RP groups exist until I hear something official from staff.
-“Banning LGBT discrimination infringes on the religious members’ beliefs”: this is simply not a valid point when there are LGBT religious people and religious allies.
-“You can’t ban straight characters if people stop banning LGBT characters”: cool, I don’t care. RP groups still shouldn’t be allowed to ban LGBT characters, and if that also means groups can’t ban straight characters, that’s fine.
-“Just go join other groups”: The problem isn’t that I’m desperate to join homophobic groups with my gay or trans character and I’m throwing a fit because of it, the point is that *they should not be allowed to ban those characters to begin with*. If the site is inclusive of LGBT fans, they shouldn’t allow people to ban our content in certain areas of the forums.
-“The forums aren’t homophobic just because some RPs ban LGBT characters”: if the staff allows members to ban LGBT content wherever they like, this forum allows homophobia and is by extension a homophobic space. Again, I’m going to wait and see if the staff post anything *official* on this being a rule or not, because as I said above, Sand said they were mistaken about it being official and are going to discuss it with other staff.
-“Just leave lol”: why can’t the homophobes leave? Why is homophobia and transphobia being supported over LGBT inclusion? It’s pretty sad that y’all would be happy to see LGBT people leave this site for the sake of letting RP groups being homophobic.
Frankly, at this point, unless you have something to say that hasn’t already been said or you’re a staff member here to say that an actual decision has been reached, I’m not interested in hearing from you. If you have another point that hasn’t been addressed then go for it, but if you’re just going to restate something I already responded to please stop.
