Sablepaw noticed Foxstar’s gaze change but said nothing of it. She dipped her head to the Tom and couldn’t help the jittery feeling in her paws. She was going to be a full fledged Medicine cat!

{ for some reason I thought that if a med cat apprentice was to be named they could travel to the stone at any time to be named... but it’s been a while since I’ve read the books so I can’t remember. But I mean, we aren’t following every rule by the book either so I wasn’t sure if it mattered too much yanno?? Mostly I just wanted her to get her name soon cause I have today and tomorrow off from work so I can be active longer and I didn’t want it put off too long!  } |

I mean, I'm fine fudging some details like being able to go at any time, but earning a full medicine cat name is kinda a big deal.
As for announcing it before it happens, I think it would be up to the medicine cat in question, but Snapperjaw wouldn't have brought it up, not even to Foxstar because, and I repeat, the leader has no say in medicine cat business like this. Snapper would've left it as a pleasant surprise for Sablepaw.)

finally back at the dorm. im assuming you want to do it now?  sorry for the wait. all this went down while i was with a friend so i didn't have the chance to type up a proper starter cuz i didn't get back home 'til late ^^") Snapperjaw pulled away from the nursery. Once he was sure Softwing would be fine without him, he added back to the medicine cat den. He took in the clean and organized array of herbs and let out a rough purr. "Come along, Sablepaw. With everything happening, we haven't had the chance to see Star Peak in a while." Snapperjaw's visit was long overdue. Because of his age, he hadn't made the trip when he came out of retirement as he still needed to wake up his old bones. And all the drama with Hailclan's arrival and then Softwing expecting at any moment, he never got around to it once he regained some of his strength. But now was the perfect chance. |

Sablepaw looked at Smapperjaw and smiled at the thought of seeing her ancestors. “Okay!” She meowed cheerily, shooting an excited look towards the Tom, “I sure hope I can keep up with you!” She teased, nudging his shoulder gently in a teasing manner

also, im sorry if i came off as harsh Sanji and Ice. when i read that all last night, i'll admit i wasn't too happy. felt rather left out that i wasnt informed of what my character would be doing in regards to his own apprentice :/ hope i didn't hurt any feelings)
Snapperjaw let out a short laugh. "I don't have any fears you won't." He started on the long trek towards the peak. He debated about inviting the other clan's medicine cats. It would be nice for Sablepaw to have a living audience for what he had planned.

Snapperjaw flicked his tail. "The journey will be even longer since we'll be making a couple pitstops." He headed towards the Hailclan border.
(@fortunata the forums tell me you're online, so i was wondering if you'd like to have Gracklefur be present for Sablepaw's naming ceremony. Pepperstorm will be their first stop, but they can pop by SC to grab him too if you'd like.)
