Nightkit squirmed slightly, mewing in protest as he was taken from his mother's side, but there was something about Fuzzythroat's scent that made the kit calm down a bit, but he was still quite squirmy. He didn't mind the cleaning, but it wasn't his mother.

Leopardshard watched his littermates through shaded eyes. With a sigh, he drew Redkit closer to him and began grooming his nephew. Was he doing it right? Leopardshard hadn't groomed another cat since...well, since he and his littermates were apprentices. Softwing's eyes glowed with love for her family. "Thank you." She murmured softly.
Lizardkit squirmed and twisted about. All these new scents..they shared a strand of something similar but were different. What was this?

Redfang slipped into the nursery with ease. It was faster than a blink of an eye as the small tom snatched up Jaggedkit, ran, in three quick movements he had snatched up all four kits and was now residing in the warriors den. In his nest of course, hidden deep in the corner he purred and licked the kits. Rosewhisper looked at her paws where the kit had just been, she looked at her siblings "what?"

Softwing sat up in alarm. "Daaad." She called out after their father and heaved herself up to her paws. "You can't just take them!" She slipped out of the nursery and looked around for her kit thief.
Lizardkit mewled in annoyance as she was knocked into her littermates in her grandfather's jaws and brought elsewhere. Even more new scents! How was a shekit to keep up with them all?

Redfang quickly hid all four kits underneath his large tail and stared with wide eyes as he waited for his daughter to find him. He could take them and he did! He gently licked them as he kept them hidden.

Nightkit found himself being jostled as Redfang carried him out to the warrior's den and his paws sung with each of his grandfather's steps. As he was placed in the nest next to his siblings and covered by Redfang's tail. The tom began to squirm his way up towards his grandfather's paws and made his way in between them, snuggling up against his chest, purring heavily as he began to drift off to sleep.

Softwing headed into the warriors den and marched towards her father. "Dad, you can't just take my kits." She rolled her eyes and moved to grab them from under his tail.

Redfang looked at Nightkit with love and then when his daughter reached for the others he lifted his paw and batted at her "I didnt! Are you accusing me of something?" He completely ignored the fact that Redkit gave a mewl and Nightkit was in plain sight.

"I absolutely am!" Softwing fluffed up. Lizardkit heard her mother's family voice and let out a mewl, wanting to return to the familiar scents of wherever they'd been before. Carefully, Softwing drew her kits towards her. Lizardkit, Redkit, Jaggedkit and she reached for Nightkit too.

Nightkit mewled upset by being moved from where he was, squirming deeper against Redfang's chest, using his comically large paws to bat at her face, scrunching his face in protest. The tom returned to purring and began licking and kneading at Redfang's chest, nuzzling against his grandfather.

Redfang stared at his daughter with large, child like eyes as Nightkit wanted to be with him. He put a small paw on the kit and looked at Softwing with sad eyes. They were his grandkits too! They were like little angels. Roseheart would have loved to meet them!

Softwing let out an annoyed groan. "Fiiiine. But you have to return him tonight." She gave her father a hard look before collecting her other three kits and returning to the nursery.

Nightkit quickly found himself being lulled into a sense of security, he didn't know why but there was something about the cat that was holding him that made him feel like he was meant to be near them, also the other cat that was there, but he wanted to spend some time with the cat he was with too, plus he was so comfortable.

Redfang gave a nod as he gently began licking Nightkit with happiness. He would thieve the others while she slept, yes, perfect plan! Of course after he made sure they had eaten well. He was more than ecstatic about each of the kits, the beautiful little bundles!

Nightkit purred as his grandfather began licking his thick pelt, his jaws parting in a wide yawn, his paws stretching out as he got more comfortable. He curled up into a small ball, wrapping his tail around himself purring the entire time.

Sablepaw let out a small sigh as she pushed the poppy seeds back in their place. She looked at her organized herb pile with a smile, feeling satisfied with the way that it looked she stretched and padded back out to the camp clearing, looking around.

Sablepaw let out a soft giggle, “it’s not for everyone.” She watched her leaders embarrassment with slightly amused eyes, curling her tail around her paws. When he spoke again her eyes widened, and her mouth opened slightly, “wow... really?” Her voice squeaked, before she cleared her throat. “I always wished Lakesong could have been here to watch this happen, but I will do everything in my power and with Starclan behind me to make her and Lightningclan proud.” Her eyes were sparkling with excitement and she grinned at Foxstar.
