(Heck yeaaah) Darkkit glanced back at his brother and gave an annoyed puff "if you keep shouting then I imagine we'll be snatched up, keep your voice down" he said as he continued walking stealthily. “Darkkit!” Mudkit whispered sternly, he wanted to get his mother or the nearest warrior but he feared he’d lose sight of his brother. “We can’t be out here.” He quickly followed after him with wide eyes as he made sure nothing would attack the two

Lilystep couldn't believe that she had just let that slip, she never slipped up. Apparently, Applethorn had changed her more than she had originally thought, but his reaction made her heartbeat still, he wasn't mad or upset, in fact, he seemed as though she had delivered good news of sorts. "Well, clearly I'm not the only one of us that wants it to be true." She pressed her nose to his chest and couldn't help but purr as she felt his heart racing excitedly. "So you think I'd be a good mate, then? Or, er, leader?" he very pointedly made the mistake with intention, with a dramatic look as he 'corrected' himself. He was in awe of her, and how quickly they fell into this charmed pattern of love. Persistence and curiosity had made him the happiest tom alive. MadFaith))

"Great! Who is your mentor?" Breezepaw asked before glancing at the other apprentice. "I could see if your mentor wants to come or if you can come with me and Raindapple!"

“We can’t be out here.” He quickly followed after him with wide eyes as he made sure nothing would attack the two Darkkit ignored his brothers pleas as he walked calmly and he sent a small glare to his brother "if you're scared then go back but I wanna see a little bit further." he said, flicking his tail through the snow towards his brother. If Mudkit was gonna whine the whole time what was the point of this someone would hear! Hailclaw smiled warmly when he saw his apprentice run up to him. His smile faltered slightly when he saw the sudden bow. The tom gentmy touched his nose to Icepaw’s head, “You don’t need to bow to me.” He drew his head back, his eyes friendly and smile wide. “A simple greeting will do just fine,” Hailclaw commented. It seemed obvious that Icepaw was doing anything she could to be a good apprentice - whether or not that was because of pressure from other apprentices or just coming from herself, the Hailclaw wasn’t sure. However, the tom did enjoy the enthusiasm and willingness to learn he could sense from the young she-cat, and after all, that is what makes a good apprentice. He know quickly thought of what they would be able to do. He knew Icepaw was on the weaker side of apprentices, and he thought it would best to build up her strangth gradually. “How does a tour of the territory sound?” Hailclaw asked, eyebrows raised. Whitehawk nodded to Emberpaw as she approached him, the smaller smile showing on his lips. “Hello, Emberpaw,” the tom greeted, “Are you ready to do some hunting?” He knew about all of the terrible events surrounding his new apprentice, but wouldn’t dare bring them up. Of course he had no similar experiences, but he could only imagine what it must feel like to live with the baggage the young cat did and have others constantly talk about it. Hunting was a favorite pastime of Whitehawk’s, but not only because he enjoyed the chase and surge of triumph he felt anytime he caught prey, but because it brought focus and tranquility to his mind - something he believed Emberpaw would benefit greatly from. Icepaw gave a slow nod as she listened carefully to his words and at the mention of the territory she brightened up. She made a mental note to just greet him normally in the future. She lifted herself as tall as she could with her small size and she bounced around him with excitement. "Yes, please!" She said as her eyes glittered with nothing but pure joy. She was so excited to see all of the things her mother had told her about! The boiling lake, the glowing hill, even the bear cavern! She looked up at her mentor as she tried to calm herself down a bit, not wanting to be rude in any way. She glanced down at her paws before she decided to say what was on her mind "are we going through all of the territory today?" she questioned. She wouldn't be disappointed if they weren't but she was super excited and she couldn't wait to tell her siblings every detail. Emberpaw gave a short nod as the tom mentioned hunting and she stood tall, ready to show off how much she had been practicing with Duskpaw. Her tail moved slowly back and forth as she searched the toms eyes for the familiar cruelty, when she found none she gave a small smile and blinked slowly. She glanced to the apprentices den before she decided it was best to inform her new mentor of her thoughts. She had learned that she should trust her clanmates, even if not all of them were as kind as she would like. ''Are we planning on going anywhere in specific?" she asked, looking up at the tom. Emberpaw was the only one from her litter that looked nothing like her father, but she had definitely received a fire-like personality that her mother didn't seem to possess. She wondered if she got anything from her father, personality wise. When she realized this was no time to think about that she shook her head to focus on the current task. Skyrunner walked around him and pushed Firepaw's tail a bit down. "Don't want to be swaying your tail or they'll see you." He looked at the paw position before scooting them a bit closer together then standing back. "Let's see you land on that rock over there to see how far you can jump." Hazepaw kept staring before hurrying after him, glancing back a few times in wonder. "Will we get to fight them?" She asked with concern. Firepaw felt a sudden pang of worry in his heart at jumping. He was a clumsy tom and while he did his best to focus on things his siblings were much better at being graceful. He shook his head and gave a determined nod before he crouched low once more, making sure to keep his tail still this time. He jumped forward, though his paws slipped slightly on the snow and he managed to hit the rock with his front paws. He couldn't get his back paws on, though, and he slipped right off. With a tiny 'oof' he gave a disappointed huff and looked at his mentor, worried he would be scolded. Shadeclaw chuckled and shook his head as he walked calmly "you won't anytime soon. If any of the apprentices end up fighting it will be the older ones. If you come across a fight you should flee, we'll be working on your speed so you should be able to escape no problem. I don't think they'll be fighting us anytime soon but a warrior must always be prepared." he said, turning to give her a glance to make sure she was listening.

whoo. perfect timing Icefire! ish time for kitteeeeens ) Softwing felt a sharp pain in her belly. She was new to it all, but her gut screamed at her that now was the time. "F-frostheart." She let out a gasp for her friend when she moved into the nursery. Although Frostheart's kits were freshly apprenticed, she'd stuck around to keep Softwing company.

Frostheart was up in moments and next to Softwing, she quickly helped her friend to the nest and she glanced at the entrance to the den. She would have to yell for Snapperjaw or Sablepaw. She moved to the entrance to the nursery and shouted for one of them in hopes they would come as she refused to leave Softwing. She hurried back to the queen and sat down next to her.

Snapperjaw sat up. His body groaned in protest, but there was no time. "Come on Sablepaw." He called out to the apprentice as he gathered the herbs they'd need for Softwing. He knew to expect complications with the she-cat. As he headed into the den, he set the pile down and headed over to her. Softwing was already breathing heavily. He placed a paw over her belly. "Easy now.." He murmured. He glanced towards Frostheart. "Can you find her a stick?"

Frostheart looked at Snapperjaw before she gave a short nod and searched for a nice size stick that wouldn't break when the queen bit down on it. When she found a decent one she rushed back, her paws gently touching the ground as her eyes searched the camp for Shadeclaw. She had seen him leave camp with Hazepaw but he could be anywhere in the territory! She placed the stick down next to Softwing and looked at Snapperjaw in case he needed something else.

Snapperjaw took note of the difficulty Softwing was having with the first kit. He felt around carefully, trying to readjust their positions. He could already feel one large kit that would be difficult to get out. He felt wetness coming from her and his veins turned to ice. Softwing was already bleeding heavily. Not good. "Sablepaw!" He snapped. He'd already told the apprentice what she'd have to do. There was no doubt Softwing would tear something delivering, they would just have to be prepared to deal with it.
The first kit came out slowly and painfully. Snapperjaw cleaned it up and pawed it towards Frostheart to keep away from the blood. The kit couldn't inhale any of it. The shekit, a small tabby, let out a small mewl of protest and began looking for milk.

Frostheart began licking the little tabby with affection as she glanced at Softwing, hoping the dear would do alright. She closed her eyes for a moment before she curled around the tiny kit, she had no milk to give the little she-kit but her mother would be busy for the time being and she would keep the little one warm. She hoped Softwing would hear her as she spoke. "It's a little she-cat Softwing."

Hitchpaw’s eyes softened, “You don’t seem like the kind of cat to do that.” He imagined killing for deputy role as something Crowface would do. He looked at his paws now feeling awkward for asking, “I wouldn’t blame you.” He muttered, personally he wouldn’t mind if his father had been killed. “I guess...this is goodbye then...tell my family I’m fine but...I want to be alone for now. I know they’ve been worried and looking for me.”
“And what if you get hurt? No one will be here to save you.” Mudkit said sternly as he marched right in front of his brother.
Adderbite kept Juniperkit from pestering the medicine cats as they aided in Softwing’s labor. She didn’t even realize that Shadeclaw had a mate. It honestly made her laugh as it reminded her of the time she and Crowtalon joked about having Shadeclaw as a mate. She looked down at her own kits and counted, “Where’s Mudkit and Darkkit?” She asked Thunderkit. She wasn’t too concerned as she allowed her kits to explore, she figured they were by the pile or in a warrior den.

Darkkit sent another glare to his brother and crouched low as his eyes lit up like fire, he might never get this feeling again! He stared at his brother for a long time before he stood tall, even if he was smaller. "I don't need anyone to save me! Go home if you're going to whine and complain! I'm not leaving!"
Thunderkit looked up at her mother and she tilted her head a bit to the side "I saw them near the entrance to camp talking earlier, Darkkit is always checking out the entrance though so they're probably over there chatting." she said as she looked over at Softwing with worried eyes,

Snapperjaw held his breath as the final kit managed to make it out. The large tomkit was quickly cleaned up. Snapperjaw attempted to clean the blood as much as possible and he let Sablepaw finish taking care of Softwing. They'd have to be careful to not allow her to move. He guided the kits towards the queen carefully so they could nurse, but the family would have to be looked after while Softwing healed. Snapperjaw let out a sigh. He nodded towards Sablepaw. "Well done." He turned to Frostheart. "Do you know where her family is?" He inquired softly.
(well, sorta short ^^" but i did leave some spaces for Sablepaw to do things)

Frostheart had made sure to do her best and let Softwing know each kit. She nodded when Snapperjaw spoke to her and she rushed out. She was certain the only ones out of camp were Rosewhisper and Shadeclaw. She poked her head into the warriors den and her eyes landed on Redfang. She glanced to the side. "Softwing had her kits." A sudden blur of red and another blur of grey passed her as Redfang and Fuzzythroat rushed to the nursery. The two small toms slipped inside with ease.

When we get back, I’m telling Dad!” Mudkit growled, lashing out his tail. Adderbite caught her daughter’s worried look, she licked her head and meowed, “Softwing just had her kits. She’s going to be really tired for the next few days so don’t drive her insane you little raincloud.” She teased before she stood up. “Stay here you two.” She said. “Can we see the kits?” Juniperkit mewed. “No. Let Softwing rest. Stay with Meg.” The Mother said before she left the nursery and ran over to the entrance. Once she caught the scent of the two kits, she sighed and ran out of camp.
