Emberpaw searched the apprentices and a sudden sadness entered her. Neither of her brothers were there. She moved closer to Duskpaw and her eyes met the other apprentices and she blinked with curiosity. She glanced at Crowtalon, waiting for what the deputy would say. She then turned her eyes to Brookpaw and flicked her tail.
Oakflash lowered himself, giving the other cats looks of pure warning, his eyes like fire as he examined them with careful eyes. They didn't seem dangerous. The black cat was most definitely the leader of the patrol, he had an aura about him that reminded the tom a bit of Thistlebranch.
Crowtalon's tail slowly moved back and forth as he examined them "well, you found us. I'm Crowtalon, the deputy of Lightningclan. Why are you looking for us?" he asked with suspicion, picking up on Oakflash's hostility. He remained calm, though. if something happened he would send Emberpaw, she was fast, she would get the best fighters. For now he would remain still.

We left everything behind and journeyed here," Fallenleaf spoke kindly, and carefully. She didn't know how sympathetic these cats were, but knew that her patrol could defend themselves, should they need to fight. "We knew you were out here, but didn't know where," she said, giving Oakflash another look before looking back to Crowtalon.

Duskpaw barely acknowledged Emberpaw with a flick of his ear, but his eyes were trained on the newcomers. As one of the cats spoke, he looked at the she-cat, but made a subtle face at her words, almost like he accidentally ate some crowfood. This she-cat couldn’t be telling the truth. She had to be lying, just to use LightningClan’s trust to their advantage. How could these weird, new cats come out of nowhere and spew this ridiculous story? Duskpaw wasn’t having it. He was just ready for a fight. The tom clenched his jaws as he looked back to Crowtalon, studying his expression.

Crowtalon stared for a long moment before he turned to look at the apprentices. "for now, leave our territory. I will speak to Foxstar about this. Until then it would do you well to avoid crossing our borders. Had it been another warrior, they would have attacked. I will come find you once again, Fallenleaf." Emberpaw stared in surprise, looking at the deputy. Then again, fighting now would only be foolish. So much had already happened in Lightningclan.

Emberpaw moved forward once Crowtalon began heading back. She headed closer to the border, now interested. She glanced back before smiling and moving on. "Hailclan.." she muttered.

Ravenpaw hung back, knowing he'd catch an earful from both Jetfeather and Oakflash as he did what he knew he wasn't supposed to do. He remained close to the border, and spotted Emberpaw doing the same. He thought, for once, he'd do something out of the box and brave, so, once sure the rest of Lightningclan had left, he pounced on the she-cat and pinned her down. It was then he realized he didn't have a plan, or much to say in general, so he got off of her and shook his head.

Emberpaw squeaked in surprise and as soon as the weight was lifted she darted forward. She had trained hard with Duskpaw. She swiped at the toms feet, hissing at him. How dare he jump on her! She then backed up and glared with hard eyes "you better watch it or Duskpaw will come and mess you up!" she growled, her eyes blazing like fire. She was in no mood for a hostile apprentice.

Emberpaw huffed before she sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws "you can't go jumping on cats. If you had jumped on Shadeclaw he would've killed you! He's scary too!" she said before sighing and giving the tom a welcoming smile. "I'm Emberpaw!" she said happily.

Emberpaw blinked and she shrugged before she stretched out and gave him a smile "well, if you run into two apprentices named Hitchpaw or Dustpaw please let me know. They're my brothers and they've been missing for a long time. We have lots of apprentices in our clan, in fact, we have over fourteen kits in our nursery!"

Snapperjaw grumbled as he moved around the medicine den. The killer was still out there. Snapperjaw had his suspicions, of course, but no evidence to back it up. He wasn't comfortable with having deadly cats in the clan, but there was nothing he could do but hope that every cat would be smart. He let out a sigh. He needed to find more burial herbs. He slipped out of the den, his bones aching a little, but he shook it off. here's a starter from snapper :3) |

(Same! I can totally see Dusk and Ember in the elders den - Dusk being grumpy and Ember just the complete opposite xD And umm I might have Dusk jump in, but I don’t want to do that and just go to sleep, but I’m not even sure if I want to go to sleep soon :’P So, he’ll def be open to it for now xP)

Juniperkit came marching into the medicine den, she loved the smell of the den. The aroma of berries and herbs warmed her fur as she came in. She scented the cranky elder and wagged her tail before she ran up to him and pawed his legs.
“Hiya Snappy!” The kit meowed

Emberpaw glanced to the side, the light in her eyes dying a little as she thought about it. "It's kind of a long story and I don't really know if I wanna talk about it just yet. They kind of...ran away...but my mom has already lost four other kits and I don't want her to think they're dead so I really wanna find them." she said, before shaking her head. "so you need friends? I can be your friend!" She said with a large grin.
(I just love them so much like it's so unexpected but now they're besties xD )

Snapperjaw let out a yelp and stumbled backwards into the walls of the den. "What the-" He glanced down at the tiny kit at his paws. "Watch where you're going small one." He grumbled. He couldn't exactly yell at her, now could he?
