Rippleleaf gave small smile at the warrior. She placed her fish beside the snake and waited for another fish. She saw another one coming up, she swiped at it but missed. She didn't want to make Dewnose feel bad so she missed on purpose.

Rippleleaf nodded with a sigh, she looked back at the river and waited for another fish. "Use your claws to hook the gills. Not the body." She saw one and swiftly caught it and placed it under the bush, "Like that."

Thunderpaw bounded back into camp. He was annoyed he couldn't find Whitepaw anywhere. He groaned and laid his head down "how annoying." He had gone on a search for his brother but couldn't find him anywhere.

Foxstar had been walking through the forest, hunting by himself to think. He noticed something black flutter through the trees and crouched down when he spotted a crow. His muscles tensed as it landed on the ground to hunt for a worm. The leader moved forward and pounced, landing on it and killing it. He carried the prey back to camp then laid it down.
"Lakesong!" He cried suddenly with wide eyes. The crow's talons were unusually long and sharp than other crows he had seen before.

Ottersplash purred in amusement at his eyes. She frowned a bit when he seem to hesitate about going to the river or lake. "Are you afraid of water or fish?" She asked with a flick of her tail at his nose. Ratnose made an uncomfortable smile and forced himself to look happy. “Afraid?! Ha me!? Nah it’s just...theeeeee pollution! Twolegs love throwing their trash in our rivers! Hey look a mouse, I’m going to go hunt. The. Mouse.” He breathed nervously. Ottersplash lowered her ears before turning and trying to find her own prey. She felt sad that he couldn't be honest with her. Her mouth opened with curiosity to see what would be around. |

Ravenfeather glanced at her from the side then he threw his paw up, splashing her with the water. "You hush it." He said, his voice still cold but his eyes showing playfulness. He shook the water from his face and chuckled. Whitepaw nodded "I'm pretty proud of all my brothers." He tilted his hear as she mentioned him having a lot of siblings "it's not too many." He perked his ears up, listening when he thought he heard something, on edge. "We're friends now, we should meet again!" He said, his eyes shining. Owlfeather jumped back with a squeak of surprise. She blinked with confusion with her cold voice and the spark in his eyes. I can't tell if he is angry or not... Without thinking she splashed him back with a shy smile. Thunderpaw smiled and nodded eagerly. "Yes! How about we meet tomorrow?" She suggested. |

He couldn't believe StarClan would bring them a sign for the next deputy of LightningClan. He nodded before running up to the rock that jutted from the tree. "Let all cats gather at the High Rock to hear my words!" He yowled. |
