"Come and enjoy yourself..." Welcome to Verdantclan! A clan full of mystery and unique traditions. This is no ordinary clan, however it is very easy to learn about their customs. They aren't very open to strangers, so be cautious when entering their territory. They are very protective of their heritage, so keep that in mind. Only the strongest, fiercest warriors are allowed in. It is a group of jungle cats, after all. Only the strongest and fiercest survive out here anyway! Put your pelt back on! I'm sure you'll be fine! Now go and learn about these ancient cats, and I'm sure they'll open their hearts to you eventually. Rules
"There are some rules you must follow..." These are the regulations that must be followed at all times on this thread
x-- Forum Rules. This one is pretty obvious, just follow all the forum rules here.
x-- Characters. No perfect characters. Keep your characters realistic, however I'm not very strict on genetics. However, kits must look somewhat like their parents. Other than that, you can make your cat look however you want as long as it could happen in real life. But please keep in mind what is common in this clan, as told in the about Verdantclan section.
x-- Activity. A clan is nothing without active members. Try to be on at least 4 or 5 times a week. If you get busy, I will most likely understand unless it is a recurring problem every week. Important roles are held at a slightly higher standard, however if something comes up, I will understand. If possible, try to let me know beforehand. If your activity slips for an extended period of time, I will delete you from the clan. You may rejoin only once. Get deleted again, and you won't be allowed to join again.
x-- Literacy. This is a literate clan. At least four lines per character, per post. Low muses are a thing and I will understand if that happens. However, similar to the activity rule, if it is a recurring problem I will give a warning. If not fixed, then you will be deleted. No text talk in rp, and good grammar is required. Mistakes here and there are no problem.
x-- In Role-play. I may choose your character for an illness, injury, or any kind of plot line. If your character is picked, they must be a part of the plot. I'm not as strict on deaths, however if your character is picked I would encourage to at least think about it. Deaths won't be as common, but they are a part of clan life. If you have an idea for a plot, PM me. I will consider every idea. Drama is fun, so you may create your own minor plots at any time without asking. These include any romances, small attacks on a patrol, etc. Anything that involves the whole clan must be approved by me first.
x-- Stealing. Do not steal any coding, ideas, writing, or characters on this page. This is a rule that has no warnings, and I will report any theft.

Massive in terms of stature, he is a hybrid tom carrying much of the same characteristics considered common to a cat of his species, being a pale sandy brown colour splashed with darker brown in irregular patternings especially across his flank and muzzle. Shadowblaze’s eyes are lit with a rich amber brown colour, similar to the shade of the sky as the sun sets late in the day. But he gains his name from the massive splash of midnight black marking his chest. He is an independent tom, mysterious to most in a number of aspects due to his aversion to socialising, as he is never the type to use ten words where two would work just as well. Despite this he is a brave cat, with a loyalty most would struggle to rival and the will to defend his morale beliefs to the bone.

A beautiful young shecat, she is set in a slender frame atop rather short legs resulting in her being especially small compared to most. She carries seemingly few resemblances to other hybrids, so most assume she has no ancestry in such. Her fur is primarily black in colour, and it is feathery in nature giving her an sleek and soft appearance, but is splashed with splotches of mainly orange colour, but also marked with small amounts of white at her paws, and in irregular patterns across her muzzle, chest and flanks. Her eyes are a pale, greyish blue colour. She gains her name due to her lack of tail, in that there is only a bob where the average cat would carry a tail, a point of some insecurity for the queen. Halfrose is a sweet cat by nature, good tempered and equipped with a charming silver tongue, she would make a good friend if she had the confidence to make them, but due to her shy and timid habits, she prefers to keep herself to herself.
Looking for a father of her kits and mate
I had an idea, and of course tell me to go away if you wish to  what if she’s carrying the kits of a hybrid with lots of hybrid blood in him, and Hollowstar is disappointed that her mate didn’t choose a hybrid like himself to have a mate. Especially due to Halfrose’s mutation in lacking a tail, and she’s not treated too well? Understand if not, thought I’d throw it out there. She is pregnant and hence a queen

x-- Neriumheart - 22 moons - Chocolate-FawnNeriumheart is a small hybrid she-cat. She has multiple white spots all over her body. Her body is a greyish-silver she-cat. She has very large paws and a scar over her eye. Neriumheart has mysterious dark blue eyes, one of which is blind. She is a very fierce cat and not fond of outsiders. She is fiercely loyal to Hollowstar and will do whatever he says. She is very stubborn but has a secret soft side to very few. Crush-open brother/sister-Open Neriumheart is a young warrior. x-- Calipso - 34 moons - Chocolate-FawnCalipso is a large, sleek tortoiseshell she-cat. She has very long silky fur which she is always grooming it. She has black markings over her eyes that look like cheetah markings. Calipso has one blue eye and one brown eye. She is a very sassy she-cat who usually back-talks cats who she finds very annoying. She has a sharp-tongue and is very stubborn. She has a soft side for kits. Lynxpaw, StarClan bless her, is small for a Hybrid cat. She is lithe and quick, made for running after prey. She does not, however, have much strength - something she works for everyday so that she can be a leader like Hollowstar. She can usually be found practicing her battle moves or racing through the trees just around the camp, when she isn't busy doing something. Lynxpaw, surprisingly, is quite open-minded for a Hybrid cat. She is sweet as a cherry, always trying to make friends and help others in need. Lynxpaw is energetic, bubbly, and always ready to learn. Like a true Hybrid cat, she could be mistaken for a small leopard., with a soft, sandy brown undercoat and black leopard-like markings on her body, as well as black patches on her ears, toes, and tail tip. She also has small black tufts on her ears, though no one knows where she got them from, and black rings around her tail. Her eyes are a brilliant icy blue.

Shadowstep is a massive tom, all broad shoulders and muscular legs. His size gives him a great amount of brute strength, and he constantly pushes himself to make sure his speed is kept up just as much. Shadowstep is a natural leader, but only because he thinks before he makes a move. He is quiet, observant, and often asks questions before he makes a decision. He doesn't discriminate because of breed - he discriminates based on loyalty and intelligence. If he deems someone disloyal, and unworthy of being in a Clan, he will immediately decide that they are not worth his time. Shadowstep would rather have a small Clan of loyal cats than a large Clan ridden with disloyalty. Shadowstep's undercoat is a deeper brown than some cats, and is smoked out by the intense black spots covering his body. He has small black spots on his face as well, and black rings around his tail, ears, and legs. His eyes are a bright emerald green.

Can you add more to your cats' descriptions? And if Calipso is in the clan she needs to have a warrior name. And I'd prefer to just have the one queen to start with, and have the other queens form in role-play.

Mosskit is a tiny, slender she-cat with pale blue eyes. Her pelt is mainly black but has a few orange splotches here and there. Her fur is incredibly fluffy and her tail already resembles a tiny feather. Her nose is pale pink with a small white splotch on the top corner. She is the most adventurous and energetic of Halfrose’s kits, always looking for something new and exciting to do. She is the ringleader of the three kits and is also fiercely protective of them. Since she is so young, her personality hasn’t fully developed yet, but she is certain to be an energetic, intelligent cat when she gets older. However, she is reckless and has a bit of an ego, often not thinking about the consequences her actions may have.
her mother is Halfrose, her father is Tigerblaze and her siblings are Pebblekit and Swiftkit

Pebblekit is a long-furred dark gray and black tabby tom with pale blue eyes. He is larger than his sisters by a fair margin and will likely grow to be a formidably sized tom. He shares his mother’s sleek fur but not her coloring. He is the quietest kit of the trio, often letting Mosskit and Swiftkit choose what they do. He is intelligent, loyal, and trusting, all fine traits. However, he is indecisive and sometimes naive, which might cause problems for him in the future. Same as Mosskit, his personality will further develop as he gets older.

She shares Mosskit’s energy and adventurous spirit. They are the best of friends. Besides that, Swiftkit is kind and compassionate. She is helpful to her mother and her siblings. Sometimes, she can be annoying when other cats get tired of her energy and curiosity, but she is kind of oblivious to that. She thinks that she’s pretty cool. Since she’s young, her personality will continue to develop as she gets older.

Mosswhisker is a pretty good medicine cat. She has an exceptional memory of herbs and is kind, compassionate, and intelligent. She is a fairly young medicine cat, so she doesn’t quite have the confidence yet. She received her full name late because her mentor was quite stubborn but has since earned her title in the fullest. Occasionally, she will panic a little in the middle of a particularly difficult situation, but for the most part she is cool and collected.
her parents have both died and she isn’t allowed to have a mate or kits

x-- Ashpaw - 10 moons - Lotus
Ashpaw is a medium-sized cat who has been given the "luck" of being born with a grey pelt. Even though there are some darker splotches throughout his fur, it still makes it difficult for him to stay properly hidden between the green and brown world that is the rainforest. His eyes offer a bit of contrast as they are light green and stand out against his dark fur. Ashpaw could be described as a living sunray as he is very optimistic and bubbly. He tries to see the good side of everything, which makes hiim blindsided to all of the negativity around him. Most cats would also consider him a bit of a coward as he often avoids discussions and doesn't like risky stuff.

(Hey! Can I join?) x-- Ivorypaw - 12 moons old - ivythorn Ivorypaw is a small short furred white cat with bright green eyes and a pale pink nose. She has no traces of wild cat in her ancesty, and looks at first appearence like a demear little cat. Nothing could be further from the truth. Ivorypaw is a cocky, warlike little cat. She doesn’t have any family in the clan, as her mother died in childbirth and she never reveiled who her father was. Ivorypaw looks up to the mixed breed cats, even if she knows she isn’t one of them. She can be a loud, arrogent cat, but she is still young and has time to change. Open for mentor x-- Brownpounce- 30 moons old - ivythorn Brownpounce Is a broad shouldered tom with yellow eyes. He’s dark in colour for a hybrid cat, with dark brown fur under the black spotted markings over his body. The black spots are very prominent in his legs and in his tail, making them appear almost black. He’s a great hunter and fighter, and well respected due to his strong wild cat roots. He is a cold, rude cat despite this respect, and though he is cordial to the other hybrid cats he has little respect for the normal cats in the clan. |
