Despite the dragon's strength, Fel still attempted to pull and push and squirm her way out of its grip. She scowled when it spoke, trying hard to land her heel on at either of its feet. "I don't know how you things think! I said let go!" She snapped. She'd never known any beast to act out of kindness or best interest for anything other than itself. All she knew was that it probably had some sort of plan that warranted human involvement. Why else fight with the other dragon then chase her down?

As soon as she felt the dragon's grip release her, Fel moved herself away. She put a good two yards between them before she actually turned and looked back. She wanted to leave, and she couldn't think of much reason for staying other than to try to find any information that could give her an advantage if something like this happened again. More or less, he'd still released her instead of just breaking her, which she didn't doubt he was capable of, even in this form.

For now, Fel decided to keep quiet that her brother was a draco slayer. She didn't need to fan the flames if the draco was acting like there were none to begin with. Why start a fight where she didn't need one? "So why aren't you just letting me leave? What do you want? She asked, still narrowing her eyes at him in suspicion. Even if he wasn't looking for a fight, no need to beat around the bush if he wanted something.

(Sorry things are really rough right now. I just had to buy a new laptop charger just to get back on my computer.)
"I'll be fine once I find somewhere I've already been." Fel answered. She would have crossed her arms in a normal conversation or at least shifted her stance to be less defensive, but she still had no idea if she was going to need to start sprinting or throw another punch at the drop of a hat. She was ready to be out of this place and back at the hotel, but she wasn't keen on letting the draco know where they were staying, even if he was trying to act helpful.

Fel scowled. Admittedly, she'd been lucky another draco had challenged the fire beast. She'd been in real trouble, but she wasn't about to say so outloud. "I'll find a weapon." She stated simply. If these woods were riddled with draco as he said, there was bound to be a fallen adventurer somewhere. There had to be other people who hunted them, not just Blair. At worst, she could forge herself a low-quality bow, but arrows were a little harder to make on the fly.

"I'll figure it out, okay?" Fel snapped. "What business of is it of yours if I'm lost or not, anyway? Don't you have bigger problems than one mortal out in the woods?" She wasn't much in the mood to be interrogated by a dragon as it was, and she didn't care to have her lies picked over either. She just wanted this part of the day to be over. She wanted to either get back to the motel or to find her brother. At this point, she just wanted to get out of the woods without dealing with any more dragons, present company included.

"Then go worry about those things!" Fel retorted, starting to turn and walk the opposite direction of the dragon. "Leave me alone or I'll show you who's mostly helpless, you scaly freak."

Fel looked up toward the sky now that she was in a clearing, checking where the sun had positioned itself. She tried to remember which way the shadows were facing when she left the motel. If she was remembering correctly, she was only going to wander deeper into the woods this way. She turned herself and began walking where she suspected she would eventually run into the road. At least there is was a straight shot left or right which way the motel would be.

Fel continued to walk, lifting her feet higher than usual to avoid tripping herself on the briar vines and undergrowth. She definitely didn’t want to make a lot of noise by falling over something she shouldn’t have. Not even because she was supposed to be avoiding dangerous bloodthirsty beasts, but just so that the nosy drake from the clearing didn’t have the satisfaction of hearing her stumble.
It was a very long walk until finally she found the side of the road. At least from here she could see a road sign that indicated which way the motel would be. She doubted she’d get home before Blair, but at least she didn’t have to spend a few hours walking in the wrong direction.

Fel had started to walk along the road, though something that drake had said made her look back into the woods. She didn’t actually see anything suspicious, but he’d said there were a lot of dragons out there…
How many of them had Blair meant to go hunt? And she’d seen their power first hand. How was he hunting them? How was he going up against something like that with just an idea and a sword?
Was he going to be okay?
That thought scared her. She had no idea what Blair was facing out here when he was alone. Had he fought in a place with more than one dragon before? She’d been found easily enough, they had to have found him. She didn’t want to think about any alternative to what normally happened.
He would come home. Maybe a little battered and worse for wear, but he’d come home. He always did. This was no different. Still, she could feel her hands starting to shake, and her bitter scowl started to slip.
