My favorite out of the three is Kallik x Yakone, as they had the most time to develop. Their struggles were realistic and it wasn't obvious until the end how much they loved each other.
I just find Lusa x Miki to be cute, since they were cubhood friends that later became mates. I wish there was more detail on Lusa's feelings for Miki and why she loves him instead of just stating that she does. I wonder if becoming mates with someone that looks like Yogi hinted that Lusa would become Yogi's mate if she stayed at the zoo.
I guess Toklo x Aiyanna is cute too, but like Lusa and Miki, I wish there was more depth on their relationship, so I can get a bigger opinion on them. I was secretly hoping Toklo would get together with that one female white bear he ran into. (I need to remember her name! Someone tell me! I think she was in Island of Shadows.) Because crossbreed relationships are interesting.
On the topic of couples, what do you think of non canon ships or background couples? Ex: Taqqiq x Shila. Also, what did you think of that pointless love triangle between Lusa, Ossi, and Miki? I wish it did do something, just so it had a purpose.
