A group of rouges attacks the Clan. Hollowstar loses three lives, and eventually becomes an elder. The rouge leader, Yew, renames her Hollowlife. Sandpaw and Sunpaw are killed, along with Greybelly. Yew becomes leader, and his rouges join the Clan.

The rogues are eventually beaten, but at the losses of Hollowstar, Braveheart, Moonfur, Snapclaw, Birdspark, and Hollycloud. Squirrelpaw becomes Squirrelfoot. Oakfeather becomes the new leader and elects his brother as deputy. Only three rogues stay behind.
