Nettlefrost narrowed her eyes, but didn't say anything. She kept her distance as Dreamwave warned, but kept glancing towards the clump of flora that reeked of death. "M-Maybe he just got what what coming to him...rogues fight anyone, you know!" she commented, voice only faltering slightly through her nonchalant, cool attitude.

Bluepool shivered, thinking about the snow sticking to her pelt, trying to wade through just to get back to camp. "I think so too... hopefully it'll work out." She felt a serene feeling fall over her. It was nice for her to have a relaxing conversation--any conversation, to be exact--with another cat. She found herself always leaning towards Goldenstrike, and she smiled to herself with relief that she was able to find a cat that took her faults. β¨ nissabug β¨ βMe too,β Goldenstrike said simply, then rolled to his side and relaxed. He didnβt feel like he had to be a tough quiet warrior around Bluepool... it felt good. She needed someone to vent to; someone who wouldnβt judge her for her feelings, no matter how selfish or angry. He liked that she had flaws. βIβm guessing you didnβt get to talk with your mother, then,β he continued. βWhat did she do this time?β

Deerleg did only what he knew how to do, and that was awkwardly continue the silence. The cool Leaf-fall air swept around him, almost completely convincing him that he was in a trance at this very moment, padding alongside the she-cat who mimicked the colors around them with her pelt. As she fell back to speak to him, he nodded in agreement. "Me neither, really... I'm not a big fan of swimming, and I wouldn't die without fish..."

"Heh, anything you want in particular?" Softlight asked Stormtangle. He lay down what he had done with some of the herbs, ready to get whatever Stormtangle desired from the fresh-kill pile. He enjoyed her company, and found her a kindred spirit to himself in several aspects. He felt his chest burn for a moment, surprising him, before shoving it away, his face flushed.

Dreamwave took few, hesitant steps forward, curious enough to know, but not wanting to risk her life at whatever it was. She peered behind the clump of growth where they had pinpointed the scent, and was appaled at the sight of a dead, decaying cat, looking mangled as it lay rotting in the very spot. She lunged backwards, nose filled with foul scent, wiping it along her foreleg to rid herself of it.

"Nope," Bluepool replied with a sigh. "But it's fine. I don't think that something that's been going on for StarClan knows how long could be resolved with just my sister and I speaking to her about it. We've tried, but nothing pleases her. She's even getting crankier by the day, so I'll stick with my usual solution: avoidance." Bluepool closed her eyes, resting her head on her paws.

Flightpaw noticed the way the stream continued all the way down to the lake, and it was difficult for him to find the scent trail again. He was please once he found it, but he continued to get distracted by the rumbling of the water and the odd way the scent was moved around due to parts of the stream trickling down past it's usual borders. He was at the side of the lake now, once again feeling confident as he picked up a good path. He followed it down to the border and stopped once he located where his clanmates had dropped off the other cats.

Robinwhisper huffed, "I don't think any cat in Groveclan would die without fish besides Bluepool." She picked up her pace, wondering what it would feel like to run alongside Deerleg. She whipped her head around to face him - mischevious gleam in her eyes. "There's on thing I'd die without; running." she mewed quickly, hoping Deerleg got the memo because as soon as the words escaped her mouth she bolted. Leaves cracked beneath her paws and wind rushed in her ears as she raced through the forest.

Goldenstrike sighed. He figured it wouldnβt have worked after so long, but itβs the thought that counts sometimes. βMaybe she just needs to be put in the elderβs den early,β he muttered. βI mean, she can still complain, just from a farther distance.β

(( okay I'm gonna guess he just passed ΒΏ)) Hawkjaw was ecstatic when Flightpaw finally discovered the point where the clan had escorted the loners from their territory. He had been patiently waiting at the point for a good while, anticipating his apprentice's arrival. When Flightpaw stopped searching finally, Hawkjaw padded out of the bush he had been hiding behind. A deep purr resounded in his throat, "Well done!" Hawkjaw mewed proudly. "You have just passed your warrior assessment." His eyes gleamed with excitement for Flightpaw's success. Hawkjaw beamed at Flightpaw, awaiting Skystar to congratulate Flightpaw himself.

Daisypaw settled down with her sparrow, watching from her nest a little bit above them on a tree shelf. It was very entertaining watching Softlight fumble over Stormtangle and her injuries; they were obviously crushing on each other. Sometimes Daisypaw thought about what it would be like to have a mate or kits, but then she remembered herbs were a lot less complicated and didnβt have feelings.

With laughter, Bluepool replied, "Yeah, for sure. I think we could probably all agree on that." Bluepool smiled at Goldenstrike, a soft look in her blue eyes. "How about... we sneak out?" she meowed quietly, resting her head on her paws again, looking down at her toes. "We could... I don't know, head towards the mountains near the Moon Pool for a while and just goof off for a bit. I feel like I'm going a little crazy in this overcrowded camp."

Deerleg couldn't help but smile in surprise as he watched Robinwhisper kick up the broken, fallen leaves behind her. He soon took chase, his long limbs letting him catch up quickly. He did his best in attempting to avoid debris, clearing fallen branches, logs, and rocks, though occasionally tripping over things that were hidden under the leaf litter. His breathing became more labored as he freed himself, running alongside Robinwhisper.

Looking proudly at the apprentice before him, who was glowing brightly himself with pride, Skystar released a purr. "Yes, very well done. You did well, and I can safely say that you've passed your assessment. We'll have a Clan meeting once we return to camp, and you'll receive your warrior name." Skystar turned to face the direction from which they came, waving his tail for the other two toms to follow him as he started back.

Goldenstrike smiled. βThat would be fun. But wouldnβt Skystar and Hawkjaw see us coming out, since theyβre doing Flightpawβs assessment?β he asked, then raised a brow. βUnless you know a secret way out, of course.β

The expression on his face read every emotion she felt inside, a freedom which couldn't be put into words. The allure was sharpened to her by the leaves flowing around them, the logs which she had to dodge just making the freeing moments not avoiding obstacles even better. Before long they reached the edge of Broken River and Robinwhisper skirted to a halt as the undergrowth began to clear. "Exhilarating!" she yelled.

How about it!" He let himself feel excitement for Flightpaw, even if his shoulder was beginning to feel das after the trek to the edge of the territory.

Bluepool gave an innocent smile to Goldenstrike as she got to her paws. She gave him an inconspicuous wave of her tail, slowly looking around nonchalantly. She headed to the tunnel that was the apprentices den, skirting around it to the yew tree before quickly sneaking into it.

Deerleg was panting at this point, having reached the edge of the water the same time she did. The Tom didn't run usually unless he was hunting, so the long sprint he just had was relatively draining, but he had enjoyed it nonetheless. He managed a brief smile to Robinwhisper before he continued to pant.

Goldenstrike watched her get up, then smiled and got up as well. He quietly followed behind her, ducking into the apprenticeβs den with her. Of course she would know the best ways out of camp, or else she would have been caught a lot more often.

Flightpaw beamed up at his entire as they padded back, his tail held high. He wanted to tell all the apprentices about it, and that he'd await their warrior ceremonies so they could be donates again. Once they reached camp, he padded over to Paintpaw, eager to share the news

The Tom didn't run usually unless he was hunting, so the long sprint he just had was relatively draining, but he had enjoyed it nonetheless. He managed a brief smile to Robinwhisper before he continued to pant. Robinwhisper turned to Deerleg and chuckled at his exhausted state. "Too much?" she purred, gliding towards him and rubbing her cheek to his affectionately. When she pulled away from him, she realized how bold it was of her to just do that. She coughed quickly, "I think a nice run is just what I needed!" She turned her gaze back to the river, which due to the recent rain was thundering below them more rapidly than she had seen before. She walked slowly forward until her toes were touching the edge of the bank. She felt an ominous feeling, staring into something so harsh made her feel small and insignificant. "Crazy, that thing, huh?" she asked in a small voice, turning her head once again to set her amber gaze on Deerleg.
