Hello, everyone!
I'm looking for a 1x1 partner, if not multiple partners to roleplay. I have been roleplaying for about seven or eight years, so I have a lot of experience with it. I love doing a variety of different plotlines when I roleplay and it's pretty rare that I turn down an idea. Some ideas that I have roleplayed in the past:
- Maximum Ride spin-offs - Warriors - Romance themes - Shapeshifters - Renaissance themes
And many more!
I am a semi-literate to literate roleplayer, so I prefer having someone who is the same way. I do not like one-liners, although I sometimes understand that writer's block happens.
If you have any ideas you have that you'd like to find a roleplay partner to do it with, let me know! I would love to get back into the roleplaying game!

Hey there!
I've had fun with Max Ride spinoffs in the past, or I'm also really interested in maybe doing an arranged marriage plot? Probably moreso than Max Ride. Either traditional medieval style or an edited modern thing in which that practice is still commonplace.
We could either play the arranged marriage straight, have it be like...this will bring our warring families together, or we could have one be gay and explore the conflicts that brings.
Soul mate things are also tons of fun? I especially like the dynamic of someone who has faith in the system and someone who's pretty much given up on that life for themselves. Soulmate universes are fun because there's just...so much to be explored in that sorta universe and so much can go wrong.
Idk I'm sorta in the mood for a sticky, problematic romance in which things aren't perfect and it'll be a long battle to make them good enough, if you can't tell, fpft. You have any ideas like that?

Hiya! C:
I've done an idea once where my character was a princess set in renaissance period Venice and she had an arranged marriage but she ended up falling in love with one of her guards. It didn't get very far because the person became inactive pretty early on, but the concept was something I really enjoyed c:
Personally, I love doing problematic romances, they're one of my favorites xD I can't really explain why, but I'd love to do something like that! Probably has something to do with the conflicts they involve because tbh I'm the kinda person who likes putting my characters through some tough stuff just because I can lol
I've never done anything relating to soul mates unless you count a spin-off of the Fallen series, so that would also be super interesting to me! I don't have any like, set-in-stone ideas at the moment but I can probably develop one if we wanted to narrow down our options

Hm...
I do like arranged marriages where the two folks arranged learn to get along somehow? But third parties are super fun too, as long as the one who's getting bumped out of the marriage isn't villainized. I like making that person an unsuspecting victim, maybe even letting their heart get broken. And then there's the added element of "well this person is nice and all but I'm not in love with them and I'll hurt them if I go with this person and hhhh."
I have a few ideas? Nothing set in stone. But a society like that, especially if the soulmate is visible, would probably revolve pretty heavily around soulmates. So maybe the characters we have aren't actually soulmates and they face discrimination for it?
Or as I said, I absolutely love jaded person/slightly naive but well meaning person dynamics. So maybe one of them had a previous soulmate but they died, and now they have a new one, but they already sorta gave up on soulmates? And the conflict that comes with that.
Some of my favorite romantic dynamics in general(not tied to any plots, so we could do anything with these) are:
Jaded or potentially depressed person/naive and well meaning person (a la Miles Edgeworth/Phoenix Wright or Ema Skye/Klavier Gavin from Ace Attorney) Goofball/Overachiever (like Jake Peralta/Amy Santiago from Brooklyn 99) They've gone through hell and back together (can't think of an example rn whoops) Famous person/regular schmoe (Klavier Gavin/Ema Skye from Ace Attorney)

I love jaded characters! One of my favorite characters that I have is a super jaded babe who is just always angry lol
I really like the idea of the soulmates a lot actually. Maybe one of the characters falls head over heels for someone who they think is their soulmate but really isn't? So they become jaded to the idea and all that jazz. Maybe there's a way to prove their soulmates or something too.
That's just one idea I had, we don't have to do it lol

Maybe? Do you mean like they were mistaken the first time, and by the second time and it's Actually True, they've just sorta given up? That could be interesting.
We could also do...heck I'm sorta blanking on ideas right now, sorry, rip.
Also, what sorta soulmate universe will this be? I've had names written on body, red threads only they can see connecting them, first words written on body. Actually, I did a first words one in which one of the characters was mute once. idk if I wanna do it again, but?

Yeah, like a mistaken case of soulmates kind of thing.
Lol don't worry about blanking, I do it all the time xD
I've never actually roleplayed a soulmates universe before, so I'm not entirely sure how we should go about it. I've seen an idea before about how there is a countdown clock on a person's wrist that counts down to the moment you meet your soulmate, but that's about the only experience I have with it lol

There's honestly a lot of different universes for soulmates, it gets a little overwhelming I rarely play them myself rip.
So what do you want? Plot and character wise? Rn I don't have much of an opinion.

Maybe we should move away from soulmate plots if neither of us have any inspiration for one then?

sweetclover1 I usually have an avian-hybrid character named Moon I play with, so we could do something like the original plot if you wanted OrangeAxolotl That works. Did we still want to do some sort of problematic romance? Because I still think that would work really well, I just think the soulmates idea has me a little stuck rn

Yeah, I do still want a difficult romance.
Maybe...they're cops and they're undercover as a couple? They have to make things look convincing while simultaneously being in huge danger? I'm a sucker for fake relationships turned real. You have any ideas?

sweetclover1 That sounds good! Three each sounds perfect c: how did we want to start it? And what kind of plot did we want to play out? OrangeAxolotl Ooooh, I like that a lot actually. You know what would add to the drama? A troubled past between the two

Dizney Yes! What sorta past do you think? Did they lose someone mutually important to them or did they have a falling out or what? Do they dislike each other now or are they just apprehensive of each other?

sweetclover1 not at all! I'll start the thread in a few c: OrangeAxolotl I think a falling out and disliking each other dynamic could be fun. And they were like, forced into this position together
