There are 2 that I've known since toddler-age. We've had our disagreements, but it's mostly been over little stuff. We've never actually fought. Yet at the same time, for some reason, I'm uncomfortable with giving all of myself to other people. I'm just... incapable of doing it. The only person I'm the most comfortable with is myself. I mean, they are my closest friends, but... I don't trust people easily. Which is stupid, because I have known them for years and they've always been there. Maybe it's because they've never really offered me any emotional support. Orrr maybe it's because I never let them know when I'm truly upset. I hide my feelings too much.
TL;DR, I think I have "My People," but I'm not sure. Sorry for rambling.

My girlfriend, Crystal. We've known each other for over a year now and just recently started dating but she's always been here for me when I've needed someone to talk to. We'll stay up until 2 am with each other just to talk and I'm honestly just so grateful for her. We both have homophobic parents, but the risk is very much worth it. ♡ That's so great that you've found someone who can be there for you when you need to talk and that the risk is worth the relationship!

Well There are these two children (not really children, they're in my grade just younger than me by a couple months) that I've come to have understanding with and now I don't think I could live without them Not that I would ever tell them that One of them, we can call her Smi, is my sarcastic soulmate like our entire friendship is based on roasting each other (though half the time nothing we say makes any sense). One teacher who had us in the same class, I remember, said that we shouldn't be spending so much time together because all we do is roast each other. I love it. It's great. The other one, we can call Momo, and she's a gem, really. Not the sentimental type so there's probably never going to be the day when I tell her how much her existence means to me, but literally cannot imagine being without her. Both of them call me "ahjumma" (Korean word for "grandma") because I go to sleep at like 10 and they pull all-nighters every other day idk how And we all insult each other 24/7 but that's just our relationship and I love it and I wouldn't trade it for the world because in the end, I know they're there for me What more could I want

It takes a while to be able to do so, and for some, it may never happen! But hey, sometimes you can only give part of yourself to others! I hope you can get it all figured out! c:

Because you never know what is going to happen! I texted my best guy friend the other night and even though he hadn't texted me back, at least now he knows! That's awesome that you have these relationships with these people! I love the whole insulting thing because others don't understand it but you completely do understand each other! That's all that matters! It's wonderful and I'm glad you have it!

(depressing story alert) The person who I thought was very, very close to me who I knew for 11 years just sort of packed up and left, grew very distant very fast until I very rarely saw her. And it kind of broke my heart because she wasn't the easiest person to get along with but I never gave up on her. In the end our friendship was one of the strongest imaginable and our family had pretty much adopted her (her mother was an alcoholic and had major issues). And what makes me sad and angry is that is that she just sort of gave up on me even though I spent years dealing with her bullload of butterflies (she could be really nasty in the earlier years of our friendship) And ugh... I didn't really have any other friends just her (and she knew that) But anyway, I have some new friends now and they are amazing people and I really hope to become super close to them! They have made my life so much ore enjoyable. I'm very sorry to hear about that person you've known for so long just dropped you like that. It's a miserable feeling, I'm sure! I'm so so glad that you have new friends now and hope that you can become close to them and make more amazing memories! c:
