I am quite interested in doing a Harry Potter roleplay. I am quite interested in roleplaying a female Slytherin girl. Though if we do a bxg, where it require us both to have a male and female. I'll add in probably either a Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw guy. I am open to any form sexuality, same gender relationships is not frowned upon here.
Anyway I would love to do some kind of Harry Potter roleplay. I have no set plot, I am up to trying and coming up with one, or we can just wing it! So if any of you lovely forumers are interested, please post below, so we can get started!

Hey, I'd be interested, and I've got a Ravenclaw girl who hasn't seen the light of day in a long time.

Ah hello! I would love it if you roleplayed with me. Would you like to do a specific plot, or just lets start and see where it leads?

I'm definitely more the sort that just likes to let things flow and happen, whatever feels natural, though perhaps we should set up the time period, figure out where we are in relation to the books.

That sounds perfect to me! Would you like to roleplay many years afterward, would you like to roleplay where they are set in the time frame of Harry Potter, like the life of a normal student during that time? Would you want to roleplay back with Lily, and James time frame?

Many years afterwards could be cool. Perhaps magic is changing and evolving as muggle-born wizards become more widely accepted, and there's a movement to integrate magic and technology in new, experimental ways? Background conflict between traditionalists and those striving for innovation and change?

Oh I honestly really like that idea. I can imagine my Slytherin girl definitely going to be against it. I think that it would be a really cool! I would definitely be up for it! Would you like us to create a small form, or just roleplay our character out as we go along?

Whereas my Ravenclaw girl would probably explode a computer in her face trying to program it to do magic. Ah, whatever you prefer is cool with me.

Aha, that sounds awesome. I bet they'd bicker between each other about it. XD I don't really mind either way. We could away just state, name house, age, any specific like prefect, ect. Then roleplay the rest out.

[Alright! Quick question. Would you prefer starting when they are already at Hogwarts, or on the train getting ready for the new year?]

(ahh, perhaps the train? Though, since they're both older, they probably already vaguely know each other and probably wouldn't voluntarily hang out quite yet. Maybe they both miss the train?)

[Ah, I absolutely love that idea!]
Mairin sighed, as she hurried down the path towards the train. She knew she was going to be late, but hopefully not to late. She was busy at home, that she didn't leave to make it to the train at the right time as usual. Mairin was full on bolting through the train station, pushing her cart. If she wasn't careful it would have sped off and who knows where it would have gone. Which is why at times she is half tempted to jump on it, and see how much faster it would go. Though there was no time to test her theory. Biting her lip she looked ahead, many people looked over at her. Obviously curious on why the girl was in such a hurry, when most of the trains out here were not leaving quite yet. Though she ignored them, and ignore the people coming up to her asking her questions. She didn't have time, and she was not in the mood to stand and talk about what was going on. She needed to get to her train, she needed to get on to platform 9 3/4.
A small meow could be heard on the cart. Clinging on to one of the black bag, sat a small black cat. A munchkin cat to be exact. The little grey cat, looked up at her owner with wide green eyes. Looking at her like she was nuts, just like the rest of the people. "We are almost there Nyx." The blonde coed to her cat, as they drew near the entrance. The tall girl picked up the pace, and was bolting as fast as she could. Quickly she pushed her way through the entrance, that only wizards and witches could make it through. Muggles on the other hand would not favor trying to go through it. Out of breath, her eyes landed on the train. Though they soon widened, when the train let out a whistle. Taking off down the track leaving her behind. "Oh no.." She breathed out, trying to regain her breath. Eyes widened in horror, as this nightmare was released in front of her.
Blue eyes landing on the black cat, and then back up at the train, her heart dropped. She couldn't believe she had missed her train. The only way you are supposed to get to Hogwarts. Oh how her mother would be furious, and embarrassed that her own daughter had missed the bus to her school. Even if it was her fault that she missed in in the first place. Though that woman, would never admit it. Long slender hands gripping the handle tightly, her eyes scanned the area. There was tons of parents standing around, waving their kids goodbye. Her face flushed with embarrassment, when they looked her way. Though she lifted her nose up like it was no big deal, and that she knew a solution, even though she had not a clue on what to do. Nyx took their opportunity to stretch, as the cart stood still, releasing the bag from her tight grip. She let out a meow sound, and looked around herself. Not understanding the situation they're in.

Gabriela slowly pulled her things out of the cab, checking her watch. Apparently she was still fairly early, which was nice. It'd give her a chance to find her way to the prefects' car and see who else had been chosen this year. She adjusted the badge carefully, having spent far longer shining it last night than she should have. As she loaded the last of her things, a covered bird cage, onto the trolley, the blue cloth slipped to the side and an indignant beak poked through the bars. She tapped her raven's beak gently with a finger before sliding the cover back over.
Strolling down the platforms, she wove between muggles like rolling a trolley with a covered cage was the most normal thing in the world. While she didn't draw any attention, she attested it more to everyone turning to watch a girl sprinting by. Gabriela frowned, worry suddenly settling like a stone in her gut. She knew her, that was a Hogwarts student. But the question was why was she running when there was still time before the train left. Gabriela took another look down at her watch, then did a closer inspection. It was stuck. The second hand clicked uselessly in place and she shook her wrist for a moment before realizing what it meant. Moving with haste now, she ducked through the barrier when the coast was clear, only to see the horrifying shift of the train pulling away. She sighed, resting her elbows on the trolley, "Oh bugger me."
( sorry, it's a little short, I had to switch to mobile for a minute)

[Oh no need to apologize.]
Mairin looked in the direction of the train, the look of horror revealing itself slightly, once all the people began to fan out, going back to their homes, and jobs. She couldn't believe she missed the train, she has never in her life been late for anything. Her mother would not have it. Her mother was an extremely punctual woman, and she definitely taught her daughter to be the same. She couldn't even find words to mutter to herself, her mind was blank. She just couldn't believe she missed it, and after all this time showing up early to the train. She can officially say that she had missed it. Which was definitely not something she would ever want. Mairin jumped slightly as she felt the small cat brush her head against her hand. Her gaze transfixed on the empty train tracks ahead of her. Biting her lip she looked down at her munchkin cat. Picking up the small figure holding her close as she just purred against her. "I wish, I could be as calm as you." She mumbled to the black cat, who instantly helped her relax. Slightly definitely stressing the word slightly, Holding the cat to her chest, her eyes scanned around the rest of the platform, her eyes landing on a figure behind her, whom was also sharing the same fate as she.
Mairin looked at the girl, she was definitely a student like she was. Pushing a cart like she was, though a winged creature was on hers. Not seeing what it was, due to the blue cloth laying on top of the cage. Seeing the cloth she could tell that the girl was a Ravenclaw, though sadly for her. This was not a smart move for her. She looked upon the girl, she seemed familiar to her. She believes to see the girl at school before. Though not going out of her way to talk to her. Mairin's eyes scanned from the cage, to the girl, and then to the badge that the girl wore. Mairin had to hold back a laugh, a prefect was actually late for their train. Never would she have thought, a prefet being late. Well nor did she would ever think she'd be late for anything, so many surprising things have been happening today. It was nuts. Mairin looked away from the girl, and to her cat, whom decided to jump out of her arms. Quickly looking in the direction where she was going, causing her blonde hair to fall in her face by the movements. "Come back Nyx." Mairin called to her cat, whom seemed to just ignore her. Padding over to the Ravenclaw Prefect, meowing up at her. Rolling her eyes at her overly social kitty, she began to walk over to the black feline.

Gabriela shifted her things out of the way as parents and family began to stream oast and head back out through the barrier. She could still see the train in the distance, smoke curling up from the engine as it wound it's way through the countryside towards Hogwarts. She couldn't help it as her mind immediately began to criticize the absurdity of still using such an antiquated engine when there were a thousand and one technological advances that could be immensely useful. She was sure a number of students would agree with her, but the faculty was far too traditional to ever allow any of those changes.
A meow by her feet pulled her from her thoughts and she looked down to see a black cat brushing against her legs. Smiling, she crouched to offer her fingers to the kitten. Though there shouldn't be a cat loose in here. Lifting her head, it didn't take long to locate the cat's owner, the Slytherin girl she'd seen running by. Giving her a small smile, she shrugged, "You missed out too?"
