the summer months are nearly here! in a week I'll have taken my last classes, a week after that I'll graduate and then I'll have two and a half months of complete freedom and way too much time. so, it's time to find a few new partners. I'll try to keep this short but I'm very good at rambling so we'll see haha ^^'
- I'm semi-literate to literate I guess? idk in my experience that means something different to everyone, but I usually write 2-4 paragraphs a post? sometimes more, but if the baseline is more than that I rarely stay interested for very long unfortunately
- I'm generally pretty active, and I'll be especially so this summer. I'm on at least every other day, but usually it's daily. that being said, I do sometimes disappear for a few days at a time without warning for health reasons. I can promise now that I'll be back, though
- I love to chat! about the characters and plot, obviously, but just generally as well! it's actually pretty important to me that you'd be happy to talk about both the rp and other things, I find it's 10x more entertaining to rp with someone I'm getting to know than someone I don't talk to.
- like 8/10 of my characters are lgbt, as am I. I don't require that your characters be but if lgbt people and/or characters bother you then don't bother contacting me for both our sakes. thanks. romance isn't necessary but in the event that it does become relevant I'm equally comfortable with mxf, fxf and mxm pairings
- I love and adore fantasy (both urban/modern and historical) and adventure plots a lot. action is fun but honestly, adventuring is more my thing. a mix of both is ideal. slice-of-life isn't usually my genre, but with the right plot I can absolutely get into them. purely romance centric plots are out of the question, though, as those never fail to bore me after, like, 5 posts. I love building a cast, by which I mean starting with two or three mains and slowly adding more and more people until a group of people who all affect each other has been formed. basically, I don't like being confined to the characters we start out with so be prepared for that. if you've got a fandom in mind, feel free to ask if I know of it.
- I like pms over threads but am okay with both
- if you're still interested after all this, let me know! send me a pm or post below, whatever feeds your goat c:

Heya I'd love to rp with you! First off: do you have a discord? Roleplaying via discord is so much easier for me. But I can still manage it on this site don't worry.
Lately I've been hankering for a Pokemon gijinka roleplay or a Harry Potter roleplay if you're into either of those. Or maybe a crossover? I'm not talking about a big multi-fandom crossover, but throwing together just a couple fandoms and combining them and doing some gucci worldbuilding could be pretty fun.
Of course, I'm always good with original worlds!

I do have a discord, but I don't use it very much so it would probably be best for my activity to keep things here if that's alright?
it's been a while since I did a hp rp but it would be fun to give it a go? I've never tried doing a gjinka rp before so I'm not sure what that might look like, so if you're looking for something fandom related hp might be our best bet! like you said though, original worlds are also a lot of fun!

Alrighty, that's chill! I'll do my best to be around here as often as possible then.
And a gijinka rp could go many different directions. We could pretty much replace humans with gijinkas, or they could live alongside each other and experience a lot of tensions, or we could have legendary pokemon gijinkas and explore the relationships between legendary pokemon and normal ones or the interpersonal relationships of the legendaries.
As for HP rp, I really like stories that explore the relationship between muggles and wizards, or the reveal of the wizarding world because they're not gonna be able to keep up with modern tech and it's only a matter of time before it all goes to hell in a handbasket. Idk exactly how we'll rp that and if it'll lend itself to a long-running rp though. Depends on how we do it.
I don't have any non-fandom ideas rn. But I do love found family and platonic relationships in general. I'm aro so romance at all, even as a side plot, just doesn't come easily to me. Do you have any plots you really like rn?

thanks c: I appreciate it!
I really love focusing on muggle vs wizard society tbh. like you said, in the modern age, there's no way wizards could keep up anymore and that's going to affect both worlds. it would be hard to figure out a way to make the concept suitable for an rp, but maybe we could give it a go? if we can't figure something out we can always do something else instead
I feel you on that. familial and platonic relationships are so good and fun and they don't get enough love. there's so much you can do with them. and I don't really have any set out plot ideas honestly? oops. I do have this vague idea about a fantastical roadtrip where a small group of peeps get involved in something they weren't planning to which I could elaborate on if you want? I was going to do an rp based around it a few months ago but never did and it's recently come back to haunt me. it's far from finished though so there's lots of work we'd have to do there

Yeah, I'd love an elaboration on that!
I think the best way to have a long-living muggle/wizard rp is to focus on the fusing of the societies after the initial shock/politics wear off? Like people learning that their neighbors/friends are wizards and have been wizards for a long time and wizards learning about muggle tech and difficulties with the whole blood hierarchy and prejudices.
I also have a vague idea of muggle/wizard student exchanges? Like muggles heading to Hogwarts for a semester/year to take theory classes or wizards heading to muggle schools to learn math and science.

Hey! I'd be willing to do something. Didn't we start something at one point? If you don't mind I'd like to try again
but I also get it if you don't want to do something with me

OrangeAxolotl - elaborate it is! now that we're getting to discussing and there's more than just us in the thread, would you mind moving this either to pm or another thread? just so I can keep track and don't accidentally miss one of you or something
. - we did, I think? I'm not sure. but I'd absolutely be happy to give it a go either way, ofc. I'll ask you the same question, would you mind brainstorming in another thread or pm? is there one you'd prefer?

I'd definitely prefer PM. Do you want me to go see if we have one cause I'm pretty sure we had a plot together or do you just want a new place to brainstorm?

ThePyromancer I'm sorry but just quickly looking over your recent posts I don't think you're the kind of partner I'm looking for at the moment. it's nothing personal I just feel like we wouldn't get very far. sorry again
inky I'm really flexible honestly? like I know that's really unhelpful but I'm open to pretty much anything. is there anything she lends herself to l, maybe we could brainstorm something around that?

hmm okay so a medieval setting. a hunter scenario could work, or maybe something focusing on elves and how they're different to humans? I have a few vague ideas just right off the bat but they're all rather simple. I'd be happy to share though.
if you'd like to continue brainstorming, would you mind taking this to a thread/pm? I just like to keep most of the brainstorming wherever we actually rp later just for easier reference haha

Hello, hello. I really want to do an urban fantasy but also love adventure??? I'm not sure how to combine those two things, but would love to do either or both. I kinda have an idea of a troupe of supernatural/fantasy beings moving around to different towns, picking up more people and such on the way. But really, I'm up for most anything.

ooo that sounds super interesting! I'm always up for some urban fantasy adventures tbh! I'd love to work with the idea of a troupe as well, that seems like it could be lots of fun c:

We could always have them stop at a bigger city and stay for a planned week to get the urban feel. I'm thinking they could try to shelter someone who is in some trouble? Or some of the group members get in trouble for doing something they weren't suppose to do? Trying to make this less of a slice-of-life.

yeah, maybe they'd go from city to city? set it in the modern day and they could totally stick to urban areas while travelling
there's definitely a few directions we could take it, yeah. maybe if we figure out why they're on the road a path will present itself?

Sounds good. I was thinking they could all be in the troupe for different reasons too. Do you want to plan more in pms?
